Eat Wasted

Wasted exists to feed people food waste. Coming from the food industry, we’ve seen firsthand how much food is thrown away while people in our communities lack the food they need. We’ve developed the world’s first pasta made from bread waste and a self-sufficient giving model! For each kilogram of pasta we sell, we donate one portion to an organization feeding food-insecure community members.

Trust Stamp

As society has progressively moved towards increased digitalisation and users have increased requirements for remote access to services, there is a greater need for secure methodologies that allow companies to identify and transact with customers and other stakeholders remotely. The government is no exception to this change: employees and stakeholders increasingly expect to be able to interact remotely with the government, both easily and safely. Biometric technologies are becoming ubiquitous, especially in support of remote interactions: when implemented well, they can bring tremendous advantages to business, government and their stakeholders with a slicker user experience, improved trust and lower costs. Inevitably, new opportunities come with new challenges, including: - Identity theft: biometric databases are proliferating and criminals are highly motivated to acquire biometric credentials and use them to impersonate others, usually for fraudulent purposes. Biometric credentials are far more valuable to criminals because, unlike passwords, they can’t simply be changed if stolen. - Trust: as remote interactions become the norm, it’s essential that both parties can be highly confident of the other’s identity. A business, government or service provider will need to be confident that the person connecting to the service is both a real person and the right person. - Exclusion: for those who do not have the necessary technology or skills, or perhaps bias in the biometric system that discriminates against some demographics and characteristics (such as skin colour and ageing). - Compliance: unlike passwords, biometrics are tied to an individual’s characteristics and could be used to identify that individual. GDPR places biometrics in a special or sensitive category of personal data and demands much stronger safeguards around collection and safekeeping. Trust Stamp recognises the challenges being faced by users and the market, and has responded to these challenges by creating a solution which provides users with a secure, private, and accessible identity. CANNORDIC A/S

CANNORDIC A/S is a Danish-based MedTech company committed to improving people's lives with products that make a difference. We combine science, nature, and passion to deliver innovative alternatives with high efficacy and bioavailability to patients, especially with autoimmune diseases. We research, develop, manufacture, commercialize and brand over-the-counter (OTC) products under pharmaceutical legislation. Currently, 21 products with cannabidiol aimed at autoimmune and stress-related diseases have been developed. The first 2 products reached Danish stores in 2020, and now 9 products are available on the European market at more than 500 points of sale. Another 12 products will be launched before the end of 2024, with 11 patent-pending products. The product line surpasses competing products on the market by being located at the intersection of natural products, science, and cannabinoid technology while certified under pharmaceutical legislation. Climate-KIC

EIT Climate-KIC (Knowledge and Innovation Community) is Europe’s foremost climate innovation initiative. We understand that keeping global temperature rise below 1.5˚C demands unprecedented change. It requires new social dynamics, ways of doing business, capital flows, policymaking, economic models, and new ways of living. That is why our mission is to leverage the power of systems innovation to transform whole places, industries, and value chains by 2030, working across sectors to develop and scale ambitious, mission-led programmes. Established in 2010 and headquartered in Amsterdam, we orchestrate a community of more than 200 organisations including large corporations and SMEs, municipal and regional governments, universities, and research institutes, as well as non-governmental organisations and uncommon actors. Historically, we have been funded by our founder and core funder, the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT), but we are currently transitioning to a multi-funder model. EIT Climate-KIC colleagues are based in one of our local offices across Europe or work remotely from home based in one of the countries where we have a branch. We meet at our local offices to exchange and connect and use online collaboration tools work with each other and with our Community. On occasion, we meet in-person as teams, and once per year as an organisation.

Influencio is a two-sided marketplace for companies and creators/influencers. We're on a mission to professionalize the creator economy by facilitating a platform where creators and influencers can showcase the commercial aspect of their SoMe profiles - and connect on a professional level. There are two fundamental problems within the industry 1) influencers/creators are often denied acknowledgement for their work and occupation and 2) companies are longing for stronger insights into the influencers they decide to collaborate with. For creators and influencers, Influencio solves this by offering a place to express their commercial experience and professionalism. Their profiles on Influencio will function as media-kit often requested by larger companies. More importantly, our marketplace allow influencers and creators to apply or be recruited to campaigns and thereby accelerating careers. For companies, we match their target group directly with an influencer's follower demographics to ensure the best match. Evaluating influencers has never been more transparent by granting insights into a combination of prior experience, content style, analytics, and reviews made by other companies.
