It turns messy, scattered business data into clear answers you get simply by asking. No spreadsheets. No analyst skills required. --- The problem Running a restaurant is hard. Understanding how it’s performing shouldn’t be. Today, the numbers operators need live across too many systems: - Sales in the cash register / point-of-sale system - Labor in the staff scheduling tool - Stock in inventory and purchasing software Getting a simple answer often means logging into multiple systems, exporting data, and opening a spreadsheet. So what happens? - Decisions are made on gut feeling - No one really knows what’s selling — and what’s not - Staffing issues go unnoticed --- The solution We built a tool that works the way operators already think and talk. Instead of clicking through generic dashboards, you simply ask: - “How did we do last Friday?” - “Why was labor higher this week?” - “What’s not selling on the menu?” And you get instant, visual answers — charts, simple tables, and KPI cards — right in the chat. No complex setup. No long reports. Just ask. Behind the scenes, Buttermelon connects to the systems operators already use (sales / point-of-sale systems, scheduling tools, and inventory software), cleans the data, and turns plain language into real-time insights. --- Why we’re building this One of our founders, Thomas, has spent more than 15 years running restaurants. He worked long weeks and managed multiple venues — yet still couldn’t answer basic questions without jumping between systems, spreadsheets, and half-finished reports. The tools that existed were built for analysts and finance teams — not for operators checking numbers between services. That gap was obvious. And with recent advances in AI, it finally became solvable. So we’re building the tool he always wished he had: - Fast - Simple - Built for real operators - Respectful of their time

We benchmark each policy against an anonymised pool of real policies to recommend better-matched alternatives - shifting knowledge and pricing power back to households. We're early-stage, moving fast, and already proving the need: 50+ customer interviews, 10 households switched, ~28% average savings while improving coverage - plus validation from senior industry professionals, a top-performing insurance salesperson on the team, and initial pre-seed backing from a Bain & Company partner.

CM Navigator A/S

CM Navigator A/S – part of Copenhagen Merchants Group - is the company behind the digital platform for market intelligence and decision support in the agri-commodity and freight sectors – CM Navigator. Founded by Copenhagen Merchants Group, CM Navigator was initially developed in-house (starting around 2018) to aggregate the wealth of tacit market knowledge held by the group’s brokers and shipping experts. It was subsequently launched as a commercial SaaS platform in 2022 and later incorporated as an independent company in 2023 (while remaining majority-owned by CM Group). What it offers: CM Navigator provides real-time data and analytics tools to track commodity markets and logistics: • Live Prices & Global Benchmarks: Users get daily updated prices from major export regions (North America, South America, Europe, Black Sea, Australia, etc.) and a global CFR price matrix covering 600+ destinations, allowing easy comparison of origin competitiveness. This helps traders see, for example, how US corn fob prices plus freight compare to Brazilian corn into a given import market. • Freight Forecasting: The platform includes advanced freight tools that let users search among 250,000+ bulk freight routes with up to 12-month forward curves. This essentially functions as an instant freight rate calculator: a trader can input a specific load port and discharge port (or even a combination for multi-leg trades) and get current freight cost estimates and future rates. Such capability, drawn from Navi Merchants’ data, simplifies evaluating the delivered cost of commodities. • Supply/Demand & Trade Flows: CM Navigator continuously updates global supply and demand balances for key crops, and tracks trade flows. It integrates official data with on-the-ground insights (e.g., port line-up information) to give an up-to-date picture of export/import volumes and stock levels. This dynamic data can alert users to changes (such as a sudden surge in Ukrainian wheat exports or a drought cutting Argentine soy supply) much faster than traditional reports. • News & Insights: The platform delivers relevant news flashes and in-house analysis. For instance, it might highlight policy changes, weather events, or logistical issues affecting markets, along with commentary from CM’s analysts. Users also receive reports like grain export summaries or freight market outlooks, helping them stay ahead in volatile markets. Strategic purpose: The creation of CM Navigator reflects the group’s goal to “empower traders of all sizes in all countries” by democratizing access to high-quality market data. It takes the tacit knowledge that Copenhagen Merchants accumulated (through decades of brokerage and logistics operations) and scales it via technology. Internally, the platform ensures CM’s own teams and key clients operate with the same up-to-date information. Externally, it has become a new revenue stream and value proposition, attracting subscribers from the wider industry. Problem: Denmark faces a significant challenge with over 500,000 chronic heart patients who find themselves trapped in a cycle of frequent healthcare visits, averaging 16 times more visits per quarter compared to regular patients. This problem stems from a lack of comprehensive insight into patients' health due to inadequate consumption and continuous monitoring of biometric datasets. Consequently, patients resort to frequent hospital visits to compensate for this lack of insight, placing a substantial burden on medical facilities, clinicians, ethics, and patient well-being during these 'chronic cycles.' Vision: Our vision aims to optimize the current monitoring and care paradigm for chronic heart patients by providing detailed and long-term insights into patients biometric datasets. We intend to achieve this vision through the development and advancement of our product, 'The Link,' a patient-friendly Med-Tech wearable.
