We're are a small video game studio that love mysteries and discoveries. We wear Indoor Sunglasses so that no one can see us cry. Our games make people ask questions and solve harder problems than they thought possible. Our story starts back in university where we were making the earliest school version of our current title, Mind Diver, a detective game based on our heartbreaks. It was nominated as Best Student Game at IGF 2023. We are now fully funded and set out to make a grander Mind Diver that could make anyone feel smart and feel seen. Heka VR was born through a public-private partnership and research project called The Challenge Trial - initiated in 2019, funded by the Danish Innovation Fund and with the final research results published in The Lancet Psychiatry in July 2025. The results show that VR based Avatar-Therapy is a an effective new treatment method for 7/10 patients with treatment resistant Schizophrenia. Currently Heka VR is involved in 10+ clinical trials and studies around the world, from North America to APAC.
