The importance of bacteria in both industrial and medical applications is expanding exponentially. SBT Instruments provides fast and accurate bacteria-counting equipment to facilitate the bacto-revolution. Commercial success and pushing state-of-the-art technology to the market are the cornerstones of our company. SBT was established in 2014 as a spin-out from the Technical University of Denmark. Today, the company employs 15 people, has acquired two patents (recently filed for a third), has one product on the market and another product that is soon to be launched. Bacteria measurements are relevant in many different applications, but our current main market is found within the biopharma and biotech industries, where we sell our first product, BactoBox. We are partly owned by the Ellab-Fonden, a Danish commercial foundation that supports important and impactful social, humanitarian, and research projects.

Our story ChromaWay is a blockchain technology company. Since 2014, we have been developing and refining industry-defining blockchain technology platforms. Blockchain pioneers We created the first protocol for issuing tokens on the Bitcoin network.
