HEKA VR is a medical software platform that enables Avatar-Therapy, a form of psychotherapy, to be conducted in a Virtual Reality or in a Telehealth setting. VR-based Avatar Therapy combines psychology and VR technology to provide transformative interventions for mental health disorders. Grounded in research, this therapy utilises virtual reality and avatars to create immersive experiences. Through the concept of embodiment, individuals psychologically connect with their avatars, leading to significant changes in thoughts and behaviours. In schizophrenia, Avatar Therapy helps patients gain control over auditory hallucinations, but Avatar Therapy holds promise for improving mental health outcomes among patients with Eating Disorders, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, Borderline disorder, Major Depressive Disorder and many more. Heka VR was born through a public-private partnership and research project called The Challenge Trial - initiated in 2019, funded by the Danish Innovation Fund and with the final research results published in The Lancet Psychiatry in July 2025. The results show that VR based Avatar-Therapy is a an effective new treatment method for 7/10 patients with treatment resistant Schizophrenia. Currently Heka VR is involved in 10+ clinical trials and studies around the world, from North America to APAC. Blue Atlas Robotics is a highly specialized company focused on developing next-generation self-operating underwater robots for subsea surveying and is fully dedicated to next-generation subsea automation. Tradevision is building brands and selling them directly to the consumers through our own e-commerce stores. The company was founded in 2018 and has more than 50.000 happy customers in 11 countries. Our office is located in the center of Aalborg and we continuously innovate, test and develop new products and marketing strategies.

In a short span of time, Upsound has become the leading platform for recording studio rental in Denmark, both on an hourly- and session basis. We facilitate a large number of crowdsourced studios throughout the country that rent out their studios through our platform, as well as a vast network of music producers, sound-engineers and songwriters. And in 2024, we changed our name from Juicebox to Upsound, re-branded ourselves at upsound.com, and are ready to take our first international steps! But why is there a need for a platform like ours? Countless musicians across all music industries does not have access to recording studios, which is both due to a lack of studios, that access to studios is often based on personal networks, as well as the fact that existing studios are often very expensive, and the common users therefore cannot afford to use them. But despite this, many studios are often empty, as most of them are rented on a monthly basis by only one or a few owners who does not use them full time, but finding renters for the available days and/or hours can be time consuming. At Upsound we try to solve both problems. With our crowdsourcing of existing studios across the country, we can highlight all the offers out there, thereby bringing the customers and the studio owners together. As of today, we have onboarded 40+ professional studios to our platform, have 1000+ users registered, and have facilitated over 800 bookings. But why us? Because we have experienced the problem ourselves as musicians. We, like many others who start making music, did not have a large network of friends in the industry, and we did not know any producers, sound engineers, or studios, and we certainly did not have money for what we could find on Google. We are therefore heavily dedicated to solving this issue, but have also seen the potential for a highly profitable business endeavor. This combination is why we went directly from university, to working full time on Upsound, to creating a team that have all the necessary skills to solve any problem we may encounter, to being adopted into Innfounder Graduate, to landing our first investment in December 2023, and our ambition is not only to solidify ourselves in Denmark, but to become the leading platform for recording studio rental in Europe.

Chromologics is a Danish biotech spin-out from the Technical University of Denmark. We have developed a fungal biotech platform for the production of novel, natural colorants. Our proprietary fermentation process allows us to be first movers to introduce lab-grown food colorants to the market. Our production is sustainable, scalable and cost-competitive. Unlike other existing natural colors, our colorants are not extracted from high value raw materials like fruit and vegetables, but produced by our wild type cell factory. Our fungal strains are non-GMO and our pigments are compatible with most dietary needs, including kosher, halal, and vegan diets. We are in the R&D phase.

Pixop is a cloud-based AI- and ML-powered video enhancer that is designed to help production companies, TV stations, rightsholders and independent creators monetize their digital archives by enhancing and upscaling footage to fit today's screens.
