Danish founder and CEO Jannik Lawaetz started LuggageHero in 2016 in Copenhagen with 50 drop off-points. In 2017 the company expanded to London and New York with more than 350 storage locations. In 2019 LuggageHero expanded to +36 new cities and currently has more than 1000 storage partners globally spread across Europe and North America. Despite being slowed down during the pandemic, in 2021+2022 the company has plans to expand additionally and get further funding.

Hubb creates daring takeaway brands tailored for home delivery. We put multiple brands under one roof, in our kitchens designed specifically for high scale production- thus increasing efficiency and lowering costs. This results in what we call Cloud Kitchen hubs; a new concept in food delivery, which has seen rapid growth and multi-million dollar investments in the past two years. Food delivery, a market scarce on profit margins and limited by the quality of local takeaway restaurants, demands new solutions. At Hubb, we are working to solve the food delivery challenges, by: (1) creating world-class takeaway brands designed specifically for delivery, (2) rapidly building new kitchen hubs specifically for multi-branded take-away productions, and (3) increasing traditional profit margins, by lowering production costs compared to typical restaurateurs Hubb has recently secured a DKK million investment, to build brands and scale kitchens. We offer our proprietary platform Enduro Sense that enhances large-scale fermentation by optimising population heterogeneity. Enduro Sense is a seamlessly integrated, self-selecting technology that addicts microbial cells to production and therefore eliminates low-producing cells. Customer onboarding is a central piece of the overall client journey as it is often the first experience that clients go through. It is however also a process fraught with complexity and ever-changing rules and regulations. At its core, a process that needs to satisfy relatively opposite forces - compliance/regulation and customer/user experience. The best proven way of tackling this problem is to build a sleek user experience and use the latest digital identity services to shorten the process as much as possible. The issue with this is that it can take months to implement just a single identity service and from that point making future changes would require even further development resources. HelloFlow is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) company that was started to explore ways of solving this issue. Our founders had previously been met with a similar situation when they were asked to implement onboarding solutions for some of Europe’s largest companies. The essence of the platform is that it combines two functionalities: 1. an easy way to create and adjust an onboarding “flow” and 2. a service infrastructure that allows a given company to “drag and drop” identity services into their new process. What this results in, is a platform where building compliant, best-in-class digital onboarding flows can now be done in minutes, without writing a single line of code.

Biller - The next step in business payments We are an AI-powered “Buy Now, Pay Later” payment method that allows business buyers to order online and pay directly on invoice while performing real-time credit and fraud checks and a fully automated debtor management service. Thereby we reduce the operational burden and risk for the business seller while offering speed, flexibility and convenience for the business buyer e.g. by offering the buyer flexible payment terms. Biller may be brand new, but the brains behind it have been in the game for a long time. Our three founders earned their stripes at some of the biggest names in fintech. Now, they’re combining their expertise and energy to do something refreshingly new, and solve an age-old problem at the same time. We aim to be active in every EU country by 2024. That’s huge growth, but certainly within our reach. Shortly after we started Biller, a whole bunch of capital investors started beating down our door to get in. In the end, we partnered with Banking Circle, because they clearly see Biller’s potential to solve a real market challenge. We need talented people with the right skills to turn that potential into reality.
