BuddyUp Social

BuddyUp Social is a social discovery platform helping adults in Denmark—especially expats and newcomers—find meaningful connections through shared interests and real-life events. We’re solving the problem of adult social isolation by making it easy to create, join, and engage in hobby-based meetups, all through one intuitive app. Making friends as an adult can be surprisingly difficult. Whether you're a Dane moving to a new city or an expat starting fresh in Denmark, it’s common to feel socially disconnected. Many adults don’t know where to start when it comes to meeting new people outside of work, dating apps, or closed social circles. This problem is widespread and well-documented—especially in Denmark, where surveys consistently show that many internationals struggle with social integration, and even locals describe it as awkward to make new friends past a certain age. We’re tackling this head-on by making socializing more accessible, interest-based, and low-pressure. BuddyUp Social is designed to break down the barriers of adult friendship and create opportunities for spontaneous, real-world connection. Whether it’s joining a hike, hosting a board game night, attending a ceramics class, or finding a casual pub quiz crew, BuddyUp is all about connecting people who are "up for it"—with no pressure, no awkward messaging phase, and no algorithms getting in the way. Unlike traditional social platforms focused on digital interaction, BuddyUp is built around real-life meetups. Users can explore and join events happening near them, or create their own. Events can be public or invite-only, recurring or one-off, and are always centered around shared hobbies or interests. The app also welcomes collaborations with local businesses, allowing them to showcase open community events, bringing even more variety and accessibility to users. We’re launching in Denmark first—starting with Copenhagen and Aarhus—before expanding to similar cities across Europe. The idea behind BuddyUp was born from personal experience. As someone who returned to Denmark after years abroad, and with friends struggling to meet people after relocating, it became clear how socially challenging adulthood can be. We kept hearing the same story: “I’d love to meet new people, but I just don’t know how or where.” Instead of settling for outdated forums, clunky Facebook groups, or apps not designed for platonic connection, we decided to build a better solution ourselves. BuddyUp is more than an app—it’s a movement to make adult friendship and community-building normal, easy, and enjoyable again. We’re passionate about creating a product that helps people feel less alone and more empowered to take the first step toward new friendships. We believe that real-life connections are essential for personal happiness and social wellbeing—and we’re here to make those moments happen.

North ESG

At North ESG, we’re building the AI-powered ESG accounting software for SMEs. 99% of all companies in Europe are small and medium-sized enterprises. They drive our economy - but when it comes to sustainability, they are underserved. ESG reporting is complex, time-consuming, and an administrative hassle. We believe the future of ESG should be about growth - not admin. Our mission is to free up time and strengthen the ESG profile of SMEs as a commercial advantage, so they can stay competitive, win more business, and meet rising demands from customers, regulators, and investors. Our platform automates the entire ESG reporting process using AI - from data collection to emissions calculations and EU-aligned reporting. It integrates with ERP systems and leverages both public and private data sources to generate tailored, commercially viable ESG reports. We’ve already gained strong market traction across industries in Denmark. And with ESG requirements increasingly cascading down from large corporates and financial institutions, we’re solving a growing pain for millions of SMEs across Europe.

oasi.care

More than 93 million women globally experience birth ruptures and infections from which 110.000 women die every single year. This problem reaches beyond developing countries; in Denmark, 90% of first-time childbirths will lead to ruptures. Women suffering from ruptures experience incontinence, pain during intercourse, prolapsed uterus, amongst other issues requiring medical support, and generally see a huge impact on their quality of life. Complications cost healthcare systems billions every year, even without calculating aftercare to treat side effects and further complications. We have developed a game-changing birth rupture prevention technology that supports midwives and health workers in their efforts to protect the vulnerable perineal area and reduce birth ruptures. It is a medical device that is applied in the pushing phase of labour, providing protection of the perineal wall and dampening the stress on the skin.
