We're creating a digital study abroad start-up that aims to increase mobility by boosting the encouragement among students within higher education to study abroad. Another motivation for the project was the Danish government's goal of sending 50% of students within higher education abroad to incorporate an international dimension into their danish study program. Given the tools provided by the Government, we aim to educate, consult and help students go take a semester abroad to develop their personal profile. Today's way is old fashioned - paperwork, stamps, mails ( the slow kind 🐌) and loads of Visa's and questions. Our platform gives the student the step by step process needed to get any bigger task done. Once signed up, we make sure that you have all the credit eligible courses you need from our online course catalogue, a signed learning agreement, an insurance and an acceptance letter. All in less than a week and without leaving your keyboard. We started a digital study abroad agency based on our own experiences studying abroad. BrainCapture is a Danish startup developing a revolutionary medical technology adressing the lack of access to neurological diganostics. This lack of access leads to millions of people going without diagnosis and treatment for conditions like Epilepsy. We believe this significant global issue can be addressed by applying the tools of the 21st century - smartphones, connectivity, AI and automation - to the outdated medical technology and practices currently in use. We also believe that the vast disparity in access to care represents an opportunity. We are creating an Electroencephalogram (EEG) device which is easy to use, telemedicine optimized, and AI assisted in order to offer EEG as a service. The idea of an affordable, portable, connected EEG device has matured rapidly since BrainCapture was founded in 2019. Our founding team consists of leading AI professors from DTU, a Harvard professor in Epilepsy, engineers with execution experience and strong senior investors. We have secured funding through investors and European grants. We are currently expanding the team with several profiles to take us to the next level and deliver a device and technology stack that will change the lives of millions of people all over the world. VF Software builds modern administration software for associations and professional administrators. Our platforms, Vores Forening and VF Bolig, bring accounting, member and unit management, invoicing, communication and documents into one system built specifically for association administration. Company profile VF Software is a Danish SaaS company building software for the people who run associations. Across Denmark, thousands of volunteer boards and professional administrators still rely on manual processes, spreadsheets, shared inboxes and disconnected systems to manage important financial and administrative work. That makes the work slower, more fragile and harder to hand over when new people take responsibility. We are changing that. Our products, Vores Forening and VF Bolig, help owner associations, homeowner associations, allotment garden associations and cooperative housing associations manage their administration in one place. The software combines accounting, invoicing, payment handling, members, units, documents, communication and reporting in a platform built around the actual workflows of association administration. The company started from our own experience as volunteers in associations. We knew the problem because we had lived with it ourselves. Since then, the product has grown into a platform used by hundreds of associations and built in close dialogue with the people who use it every day. We are now building the next stage of the company with VF Bolig, our professional platform for administrators. The ambition is to become the leading Nordic software platform for association administration. Defend Denmark er Danmarks første og eneste lokale bug bounty platform. Vi forbinder danske etiske hackere med danske virksomheder, så sårbarheder bliver opdaget og lukket inden de udvikler sig til reelle trusler. På platformen kan etiske hackere lede efter sikkerhedshuller hos vores kunder. Finder en hacker en reel sårbarhed, udbetaler kunden en dusør. Det gør it-sikkerhed resultatorienteret frem for tidsorienteret, som ellers er normen i konsulentverdenen. Målet er at få flere danske virksomheder til at tage bug bounty modellen til sig som et aktivt værktøj i deres sikkerhedsarbejde. Defend Denmark er søstervirksomhed til islandske Defend Iceland. Vi er stadig tidligt i opbygningen af virksomheden og kommende medarbejdere får reel indflydelse på de praktiske rammer, herunder kontorplacering og daglige arbejdsgange.
