The Pie Project

The Pie Project is a Mediterranean micro-bakery located in the heart of Odense. Our principal is to make homemade, motherly food. Homemade, handmade, heartmade pies for all the pastry lovers. We are a small team who love baking and pies! Our goal is to find more pie lovers and small business enthusiasts to follow the dream with us. Our moto to Stay HapPie. It is build to give the power of choice to customer, so they can make an informed decisions when they select a supermarket for their shopping. Every consumer or household has unique needs and that’s exactly is the cornerstone of viSave solution. We have successfully launched the beta-product in Denmark. We have added 5-major supermarkets for customers to choose from. The vision is to integrate viSave with all supermarkets and provide a seamless experience to customers - from comparing prices all the way to placing order directly from super-markets portal. viSave is build on state-of-art modern cloud infrastructure and uses latest technology-stack which ensures the application is robust, easily scalable and highly-available. The team works 100% remote and has years of experience in building IT solutions with an ultimate ambition to solve an existing problem or just make things simpler in our daily lives !!

Openframe

Openframe is a unique digital platform for managing the process of designing and constructing sustainable buildings. It is the only existing digital platform that effectively integrates process management and building design with certification systems. Openframe makes sustainability goals concrete, measurable and manageable from start to finish ensuring overview and effective processes for all participants involved in the project. We want to increase sustainability in the construction and real estate industry and believe that Openframe is one of the most important tools to achieve this. Matrikel1

Matrikel1 is the  innovation House on Højbro Plads in the very center of Copenhagen. We opened in May and it has been fast pace ever since. It is the focal point for investors, entrepreneurs, creators and disruptive business in Denmark. Specifically, Matrikel1 provides high-end event space, bar&cafe, flexible work space, lounge and offices. We actively work with and create network across all of above.

LuggageHero

Danish founder and CEO Jannik Lawaetz started LuggageHero in 2016 in Copenhagen with 50 drop off-points. In 2017 the company expanded to London and New York with more than 350 storage locations. In 2019 LuggageHero expanded to +36 new cities and currently has more than 1000 storage partners globally spread across Europe and North America. Despite being slowed down during the pandemic, in 2021+2022 the company has plans to expand additionally and get further funding.

Cirqle Biomedical

Our mission is to create a contraceptive technology that renders hormonal birth control obsolete. We are addressing the millions of women that are demanding non-hormonal products with fewer side-effects to manage their fertility. Today, nearly 60 years after the first oral contraceptive pill was sold, most prescription birth control methods are variations on the same synthetic hormones. In collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, we have developed a technology that reinforces the natural barrier properties of cervical mucus. The principle of the technology is to use topically-applied biopolymers to make cervical mucus impenetrable to sperm cells throughout the menstrual cycle. Our approach enables a potentially groundbreaking product that protects within a minute and for extended periods without the systemic side-effects known from hormonal contraceptives. In 2019 we raised $1.8M for pre-clinical development. Today we are incubated at the BioInnovation Institute, conveniently located in central Copenhagen, with access to state-of-the-art labs.

Today’s processes are highly linear: raw materials are extracted, processed into products, used a few times, and then discarded—either incinerated or buried in landfills. We aim to change that. At ARIS, our ultimate goal is to create a world without waste. This means transforming linear processes into circular ones. The first step towards effective recycling is good sorting. We develop scalable and automated solutions using deep learning to recognize and sort waste efficiently. Currently, we are serving our beachhead market—public recycling centers. Here, we assist visitors in correctly sorting their waste, extending the lifespan of materials and reducing the need to extract more raw materials from our limited planet. Insai

At Insai, we are aspiring to solve neurological disorders with brain-computer interface technology. We are developing a medical headband for neurorehabilitation. It’s a wearable device powered with AI capabilities that combines both neuroimaging and neurostimulation to deliver tailored electromagnetic field (EMF) therapy for each patient. It is built for take-home use with continuous monitoring and assessment of patient recovery, enabling better decision-making for clinicians and better care for patients.

Dansk Rejsehjælp (Travel Help ApS) tilbyder hjælp til kompensation og refusion for forsinkede, overbookede og aflyste flyrejser. Dansk Rejsehjælp er startet af Jacob og Frederik, som satte sig for at give deres bidrag til at løse den kæmpe problemstilling, som flykompensation er. Vores mål er blive blandt de største i branchen i Danmark og resten af norden. Vores team består i øjeblikket af 17 personer, hvor vi fra vores kontor på Islandsbrygge forsøger at skabe et unikt arbejdsmiljø, hvor alle ansatte har mulighed for at sætte sit aftryk på dagsordenen, og den daglige drift.
