Founded in 2011 SKAARHOJ is still a very young and small company, but with a very promising future.  As many other Start-ups, SKAARHOJ also started more or less by coincident, when Kasper Skårhøj in his profession as a Video Producer at DTU saw a need for a smaller and cheaper broadcast control unit instead of the solution available from the company Blackmagic Design.   After 2 years he achieved what he had started out to develop and in 2013 he incorporated SKAARHOJ as a company.

There are too many lonely elderly people and it is too difficult to learn Danish as a foreigner.We solve these two problems by arranging for foreigners, learning Danish, to visit elderly Danes. The foreigner comes to the home of the Dane once a week, They learn Danish by having a normal conversation with the elderly.Municipalities pay us for bettering their activation of the elderly and their integration of foreigners. Currently I, Andreas, is the only one working at Elderlearn. I am however sitting in offices with other start-ups with whom I always have lunch with. I find lunch to be a crucial part of the day and always take at least half an hour free to eat and talk with the others in the office.I love playing board games, eating good food and meeting new people. We are a danish startup build the safest window cleaning product in the world. The story goes back to 2023 whereas the Founder, Christoffer suffered from a severe eye infection that led to loss of sight in the right eye. No one could tell the reason but as soon as doing window cleaning again, all symptoms came right back. Redness around the eye and an uncomftable feeling the place of operation appeared every time window cleaning. With time I, Christoffer, experimented with different soap solutions and this changed the game for me. Different soaps had different effects on My eye and on my bloodsugar levels. Those that were the most friendly, were the least effective solutions for window cleaning. Today I window clean BUT I do suffer. I want to change the game for personally BUT also for the industry in general. Nobody should experience tearing up their body in the long run, due to chemicals. Therefore I am building the safest window cleaning product in the world.
