Virksomheden er startet af paret Monica og Tommy Nielsen der følte der manglede noget på det danske marked. Her handles der med melorm,græshopper, fårekyllinger og meget mere. Råd og vejledning er en vigtig ting for paret der stadig ejer firmaet og hver eneste kunde har en speciel plads i hverdagen således at hver pakke pakkes med kærlighed. DTC-konceptet består af fire måneders acceleration af 20 udvalgte virksomheder, der gennem et styret forløb i et open office-setup introduceres for ti nøje udvalgte temauger. Virksomhederne støttes, udover af core-teamet, med konsulentbistand på alt fra jura, patent, revision, test og teknik samt støttes desuden med CAD- og CAE-software og 3D-print. Vi har desuden et veludstyret værksted in-house med måleudstyr, håndværktøj, 3D-print og laser cutter, hvor prototyper kan tunes og debugges.

We work at the intersection of mental wellbeing, social responsibility, and practical solutions for people whose nervous systems do not easily settle. Our focus is on people living with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, stress, and sensory overload, as well as families supporting children with similar challenges. For many, sleep is not just a routine, but a daily struggle shaped by a body that stays in alarm. That is the problem we exist to address. Beyond our workshop, we run social initiatives such as collaborations with crisis centres, where weighted blankets are used as a practical tool to support women and children after violence. We want to change that.

Nærwear develops physical, kinesthetic products that change how we relate to time. Time is visible everywhere — on our phones, computers, cars and watches — yet most of us experience it as pressure, distraction or background noise. Digital tools optimize productivity, but they rarely create awareness. We are solving the problem of disconnection from time. Instead of adding another screen, we remove it. Instead of constant information, we design intentional physical interaction.
