Marathon Sport er en løbebutik for løbere af løbere, uanset om du lige er begyndt eller er på eliteniveau. Vi ansætter udelukkende løbere, der kender og tester produkterne på egen krop. Vores butiksansatte dækker alt fra den, der løber tre gange om ugen til OL-kandidater med mere end 100 km i benene om ugen. På den måde kan vi også hjælpe alle typer af kunder. Flere i vores team har baggrund i fysioterapi, idræt eller lignende, men den vigtigste fællesnævner er, at alle i Marathon Sport elsker at løbe.

Aerone is building state-of-the art counter-UAV systems and loitering munitions. Drones are a big problem in modern battlefield and therefore we are creating a short-range anti-drone system that can neutralize consumer drones, FPV drones, enemy loitering munitions, or recon drones cheaply and reliably without the need for a human operator to control the engagement. NordicFuture is developing a platform that uses AI to match university students with study-relevant student jobs. Experience in a study-relevant job is one of the most important factors when applying for a full-time job after completing one’s studies. A study shows that 91.8% of students with study-relevant jobs during their studies are employed two years after graduating, whereas only 57.2% of those without such jobs have found employment. Another study shows that only 44% of university students are employed in a study-relevant student job. The problem is that many students find it difficult to start the job search, and once they begin, they struggle to find relevant student jobs. From the employers' perspective, we have found that many companies experience challenges in finding the right candidates, while others are unaware of the value a student worker can contribute to their firm. At NordicFuture, we aim to make the job search easier by creating a platform that turns the job search process on its head. Students only need to register on the platform by uploading their CV, after which they can wait to be contacted as soon as a study-relevant job matching their skills becomes available. To further elaborate on their profiles, the students will be asked to take a personality test to ensure that we can facilitate the most suitable matches. The AI will leverage insights into competencies acquired through diverse university studies, using this information to evaluate candidates' skill profiles based on the educational background outlined in their CVs. It will also have knowledge of competencies acquired through previous jobs. Overall, the AI will consider three factors when assessing the competencies and personality of a student: Completed education, professional experience, and the results of the personality test. The profile formed by these three factors will then be compared against the requirements of vacant positions in terms of competencies and personalities to create a match. At the same time, we make it easier for employing companies to find and filter relevant candidates without incurring high costs. We achieve this by attracting a large pool of job-seeking students to our platform. As with the process for the students, our AI then analyzes each candidate's competencies and the employers' requirements to make optimal matches. The AI will be asked to find 3-5 suitable candidates (or however many the employing company thinks is appropriate) which will be sent to a job interview. Thanks to the efficiency of our platform, we can dedicate resources to communicating the value of student workers to companies that may be unaware. By doing this, we will expand the pool of available student jobs, ultimately resulting in a higher percentage of students securing study-relevant jobs. We, the two founders of NordicFuture, are university students ourselves, who have experienced firsthand the challenges of searching for study-relevant jobs. Being part of the student community, we are attuned to the sentiments and experiences of our peers regarding study-relevant employment. An education is not just an education; it is the start of one's career. However, for many students, taking the next step and launching that career is currently a time-consuming and often discouraging process. This is why we believe a new approach to searching for student jobs is needed.

På hoteller er koordineringen af den daglige drift ofte karakteriseret ved en forkærlighed for post-it notes og lange e-mail-tråde. What’s not to like? *Ironi kan forekomme. 😉 Som det ligger mellem linjerne, er kommunikationsflowet på hoteller ofte præget af håndholdte processer, hvor informationen er lagret i statiske skabeloner, primært opbygget i Word eller Excel. Det resulterer i ineffektive arbejdsgange og vigtig information, der går tabt, hvilket direkte påvirker bundlinjen i form af spildte mandetimer og unødvendigt højt kundetab. Syncdesk er sat i verdenen, for at løse det problem og gøre arbejdsdagen lettere for medarbejderen i driften, receptionisten, tjeneren, rengøringspersonalet osv. Vi strømliner koordinering af den daglige drift på hoteller, ved at tilbyde en brugervenlig kommunikationsplatform, som gør det nemt, at dele information på tværs af huset. Det sikrer, at informationen er let tilgængeligt til den rigtige medarbejder på det helt rigtige tidspunkt. 🤝 I hotelbranchen har man en løbende drift 24/7, 365 dage om året. Det skaber et flow af konstant information, som skal behandles eller løses, både mellem vagthold internt i teams eller på tværs af afdelinger. I den forbindelse er der et stort pres på det interne kommunikationsflow for at sikre en smidig koordinering af den daglige drift – det kan være alt fra information relateret til gruppebookinger til håndtering af manglende betalinger eller særlige gæsteforespørgsler. Grundet de eksisterende løsningers manglende struktur og overblik spildes der meget tid på at sikre, at kommunikationen bliver modtaget på det korrekte tidspunkt af den rigtige medarbejder. Til trods for det store arbejde tabes meget vigtig information stadig mellem to stole. 😓 Med Syncdesk simplificerer vi kommunikationsflowet på tværs af hele hotellet og skaber et simpelt overblik over relevant information til den enkelte medarbejder.   Tre måneder efter implementering af Syncdesk føler 91% af de adspurgte receptionister, at de er bedre forberedt, når de starter arbejdsdagen. Det resulterer i, at 82% føler, at de kan levere en forbedret service til hotellets gæster. 🥳 På nuværende tidspunkt er vi tre co-founders på teamet: Christian (26), Alfred (22) og Frederik (22). Vi driver Syncdesk efter bootstrap princippet og vi vægter højt at fastholde friheden til at have os selv med på rejsen og at vi har vores brugere i højsædet.   Vi tror på, at det handler om at finde de rigtige mennesker, inden man kan fastsætte den rigtige retning.   Til daglig sidder vi på Frederiksberg og er en del af CSE (Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship). CSE er et kontorfællesskab, primært for unge iværksættere, som giver en fremragende mulighed for at sparre og begå sig med andre ambitiøse founders. Kontoret ligger lige ned til Frederiksberg Have, hvilket giver en oplagt mulighed for en gåtur efter frokost, eller hvis man bare skal luftes igennem - og så kan man drikke så meget kaffe, som man har lyst til, selvom det dog ikke helt er baristakaffe. ☕️
