NEVER ANOTHER

NEVER ANOTHER creates digitally tailored bras, made to fit each individual customer. Our bra is soft, features a built-in soft "wire", and is made for comfort, flexibility and support. What's the problem? Bras are mindlessly mass-produced for a narrow selection of body types. Standard bra sizing is based on only two measurements, forcing 2 out of 3 women to settle for a bra with the wrong size, wrong fit, and terrible comfort. Upwards of 70% of women suffer daily discomfort from bras in the wrong size and fit, that are just not designed for their body type. If we are unable to find something that fits, that can create a sense that no-one has seen a body like ours before. The inability of the general fashion industry to create garments for the individual not only creates heaps of waste and overconsumption - it toys with our sense of self and how we see our bodies. Even though the industry is getting better at showing us diversity on catwalks and photoshoots, that mindset rarely manifests in the products. We are here to change that. How? Our technology works as a digital tailor, intelligently mass customising wirefree bras. Our proprietary algorithm calculates customers individual bra size and shape based on their body measurements, and we produce on digital production machinery - meaning that we can produce almost hands-free, eliminating overproduction and textile waste. We are building a community around the idea that everybody and every body deserves to be seen, and to have clothes that actually fit - and that we need to (re)learn how to build products for the individual.

1. The Pitch: UbuntuVibe is developing a platform that connects entrepreneurs, founders, and freelancers with premium non-alcoholic beverages to help them elevate their events and social experiences. We solve the problem of limited healthy and sophisticated drink options by curating a selection of craft beverages delivered conveniently in bulk, ensuring accessibility for businesses that aim to offer quality, non-alcoholic alternatives at gatherings and events. 2. The What: What Are We Solving? We are tackling the growing demand for premium non-alcoholic beverages among entrepreneurs and businesses hosting events, meetings, and corporate gatherings. With the rise of health-conscious living, many people seek sophisticated, alcohol-free options that offer the same rich experiences as traditional beverages. However, the market often lacks accessible, curated options in bulk for B2B customers who want to provide their attendees with a wider range of quality beverages. This affects businesses, event planners, and coworking spaces that are striving to offer diverse drink menus but struggle to find the right supply chain. The issue is widespread, with demand for non-alcoholic alternatives soaring across industries as more consumers look for alcohol-free options. Entrepreneurs and freelancers, in particular, are keen on having beverages that fit into a health-focused lifestyle without sacrificing social or professional networking. 3. The How: How Is UbuntuVibe Solving This? At UbuntuVibe, we are building a platform that curates and distributes premium non-alcoholic beverages, including craft beers, kombucha, mocktails, and artisanal soft drinks. We simplify the process for event planners, entrepreneurs, and businesses by offering these products in bulk with flexible order fulfillment models. Our solution leverages our network of high-quality, health-conscious beverage producers, ensuring that our clients have access to unique and flavorful non-alcoholic drinks for their events. By handling logistics and offering a seamless order process, we remove the friction for B2B customers and help them elevate the experience of their attendees. Through our platform, businesses can choose from an extensive menu of premium drinks, catering to the rising demand for sophisticated non-alcoholic options. 4. The Why: What Motivated Us to Get Started? UbuntuVibe was born out of the realization that non-alcoholic options at events were limited, often consisting of basic sodas and water. As we attended more entrepreneur meetups and networking events, we noticed a growing need for healthier, alcohol-free alternatives that didn’t compromise on flavor or experience. Our community of founders and freelancers values wellness and professionalism, and there was a gap in the market for beverages that complemented this ethos. This motivated us to build UbuntuVibe, a platform designed to provide businesses with access to premium non-alcoholic drinks that reflect the values of their attendees—health-consciousness, innovation, and sophistication. Ultimately, we wanted to create a service that makes it easy for businesses to access these beverages in bulk, allowing them to focus on what matters most—creating memorable, impactful experiences at their events. It’s our mission to enhance social and professional gatherings with non-alcoholic alternatives that people can feel good about consuming.

Blend

Blend is a mission-led start-up which believes business should be a force for social good. Blend works with social enterprises who employ and uplift marginalized women from patriarchal villages in India to bring elegant products to the urban buyer in Nordics. Our main product line is carpets hand-made with natural materials such as wool, jute, silk and recycled PET. The carpets are made with the same superior weaving technique of Persian carpets but have simple and neutral designs which suit the Nordic design sensibility. By promoting handmade products by marginalized women Blend can impact 11 out of 17 UN SDG goals. We launched in Q2 and already have our products in boutique store in North of Copenhagen. Once we establish market connects, Blend wants to connect designers from Denmark and other Nordic countries to production centers in these rural villages to blend the functional Nordic design with 5000 years old artisanal talent of India. In future, Blend will also explore tech-based leasing options for its high-end home furnishing range. We believe that everyone should be able to upgrade home furnishings without giving-in to consumerism and impacting mother nature adversely. Blend is founded by Shakti, an Indian who has lived in Denmark and worked at many Senior Director level positions in Danish companies like Mæersk, Deloitte and Rambøll. Through Blend, Shakti hopes to bring functional Danish design closer to the 5000 years old artisanal talent of India. When one wholeheartedly loves two countries so diametrically opposite to each other, then it’s impossible to hold back from exploring what a blend of these 2 cultures can offer to the world. Her desire to contribute to women empowerment through livelihood is rooted in her own experience and observation of how girls are still seen as a liability in many rural areas. Opinoma

Opinoma is an intuitive evaluation system to help educational institutions gather and analyze student feedforward, improving teaching quality and student well-being. Many schools struggle with outdated or inefficient evaluation processes. The lack of clear insights and ongoing improvement in teaching practices creates less effective learning environments. There's a widespread need for a simple, user-friendly evaluation system. Opinoma stands out with its innovative feedforward mechanisms, including video presentations of evaluation results, graphical representations of submissions, smiley ratings for above-average responses, and concise text messages offering feedforward. This teacher-centric platform identifies areas for improvement and provides targeted support for teachers' development. School leaders also get valuable insights to make informed decisions and improve educational quality. The journey began when a lecturer at CBS posted on LinkedIn about being recognized for his evaluations. A thought popped up: other teachers must want similar recognition but don't have the tools to improve their teaching. This sparked the idea for Opinoma. Finally, the mission is also to bridge the gap between how today's students learn and the methods used by their teachers.

NordicFuture

NordicFuture is developing a platform that uses AI to match university students with study-relevant student jobs. Experience in a study-relevant job is one of the most important factors when applying for a full-time job after completing one’s studies. A study shows that 91.8% of students with study-relevant jobs during their studies are employed two years after graduating, whereas only 57.2% of those without such jobs have found employment. Another study shows that only 44% of university students are employed in a study-relevant student job. The problem is that many students find it difficult to start the job search, and once they begin, they struggle to find relevant student jobs. From the employers' perspective, we have found that many companies experience challenges in finding the right candidates, while others are unaware of the value a student worker can contribute to their firm. At NordicFuture, we aim to make the job search easier by creating a platform that turns the job search process on its head. Students only need to register on the platform by uploading their CV, after which they can wait to be contacted as soon as a study-relevant job matching their skills becomes available. To further elaborate on their profiles, the students will be asked to take a personality test to ensure that we can facilitate the most suitable matches. The AI will leverage insights into competencies acquired through diverse university studies, using this information to evaluate candidates' skill profiles based on the educational background outlined in their CVs. It will also have knowledge of competencies acquired through previous jobs. Overall, the AI will consider three factors when assessing the competencies and personality of a student: Completed education, professional experience, and the results of the personality test. The profile formed by these three factors will then be compared against the requirements of vacant positions in terms of competencies and personalities to create a match. At the same time, we make it easier for employing companies to find and filter relevant candidates without incurring high costs. We achieve this by attracting a large pool of job-seeking students to our platform. As with the process for the students, our AI then analyzes each candidate's competencies and the employers' requirements to make optimal matches. The AI will be asked to find 3-5 suitable candidates (or however many the employing company thinks is appropriate) which will be sent to a job interview. Thanks to the efficiency of our platform, we can dedicate resources to communicating the value of student workers to companies that may be unaware. By doing this, we will expand the pool of available student jobs, ultimately resulting in a higher percentage of students securing study-relevant jobs. We, the two founders of NordicFuture, are university students ourselves, who have experienced firsthand the challenges of searching for study-relevant jobs. Being part of the student community, we are attuned to the sentiments and experiences of our peers regarding study-relevant employment. An education is not just an education; it is the start of one's career. However, for many students, taking the next step and launching that career is currently a time-consuming and often discouraging process. This is why we believe a new approach to searching for student jobs is needed.
