InsektOrama is a small startup focusing on breeding insects. Insects will be the future superfood for human consumption. As of now, it is stil on the verge on breaking through. In the mean time we produce and sell the insects as pet food for bearded dragons and other reptiles and insect-feeding animals.

Rather than letting sustainability be a limitation in the design process, the project embraces the characteristics of the materials as an integrated part of the architectural experience. When moving through the building both textures and the rhythm in the construction tells the story of fast-growing trees and construction modules dimensioned for the back of a truck. With floorplans as small as 40m2 a focus of the project is to interpret a new way of tiny living. Membantu is one of the leading companies in Denmark helping babies with sleep because sleep is so incredibly important to the little ones. The large amount of sleep is crucial for normal growth and development, as the brain, during sleep, i.a. processes sensory impressions. Membantu develops and sells various products including baby wraps and cradle motors that can hopefully help many small babies get the right amount of sleep. Membantu was founded in 2017 by Stephanie and Eva, who both experienced a great need for an extra set of hands in their children's first years of life.

Poikilingo is developing a language learning app for small children (2 - 6 years old), where social and cultural awareness are at the heart of our concept. Our program focuses on the cultural aspects of the language being learned, as we believe that cracking the social code is as important as learning vocabulary and pronunciation. This promotes a sense of belonging which will positively impact the child's learning process. Each child is unique, so each of them deserves a study program that takes into consideration their peculiarities. The customized study plan that childre get at Poikilingo mixes activities, videos, songs and games, and if the child makes mistakes, she gets feedback in her native tongue. We follow a consolidated learning approach that teaches different subjects through the language, all created by educational experts and aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
