Further, the welfare way of thinking pushes the responsibility of peoples’ general health situation to the authorities. NoAge is a unique state-of-the-art fitness center with access to health care professionals that aims to provide a unique experience to disabled, blind and cancer patients, including wheelchair users and people needing rehabilitation after an accident and everyone else with diseases and who are part of health oriented medical or monitored treatment for whatever disease it may be. Yet, NoAge is also a center which wants to attract people who just wish to exercise in a modern training facility – NoAge is for everyone, but focusing on the greater benefit – to relief public health institutions and to improve health situation for our users and fellow citizens and to contribute in curing diseases. With access to hospital professionals referrals of patients for every day use is much more unique and motivating for users than a visit ordinated by your local municipality or region every once in a while. Updropp wants to transform electronic waste into resources. We do this by enabling citizens to get rid of their electronic devices, especially household equipment, in an easy and responsible manner, so they can be sent back into the flow. This is done through our "Uptainers", conveniently placed outdoor drop-off stations. At the Uptainers, citizens are able to place electronics, they no longer use, while running their daily errands. Other citizens can then use the Uptainer to find "new" electronics they can take home and give new life. To support the Uptainers, we are developing an application, that shows an overview of Uptainers and the items placed in them and gives the users statistics showing their personal impact as well as the combined impact. Updropp is a one-person startup, being developed with ongoing help from advisors, collaborators, and interns. We are still in the discovery/product development phase. Right now we have a BETA version of our Uptainer placed at Det Bæredygtige Forsamlingshus, and are using this to gather insight for our 1.0 design of the Uptainer. We expect that to be ready for launch in primo 2024.

HabiWe er en møbeldesignvirksomhed, der udvikler æstetisk spændende og innovative møbler, udviklet med en forskningsbaseret og undersøgende tilgang. Vores udvikling tager afsæt i bæredygtighed, funktionalitet og akustik hvor målet med møblerne er, at de skal medvirke til at øge trivslen hos brugeren og sikre et bæredygtigt indeklima. HabiWes møbler tapper ind i noget væsentligt i et samfund, hvor støjniveauet øges, både i det offentlige rum, kontorlandskaber, klasselokaler, rehabilitering, og i de private åbne boliger. Et støjniveau der sænker trivslen og øger stressniveauet hos borgeren. Stifteren bag HabiWe, Anne Mygind. Annes fokus og ambition er at drive en solid og bæredygtig virksomhed, som sikrer menneskelig trivsel, ikke kun via de møbler der udvikles, men også blandt de folk, som virksomheden samarbejder med. HabiWe er et design-/handelshus der udvikler designløsninger der produceres i partnerskab med nationale underleverandører der producerer og lagerfører produkterne. Møblerne afsættes i dag via branchespecifikke forhandlere på det nationale og internationale marked. HabiWe blev stiftet i august 2020, hvor det første lancerede produkt i et produktportefølje af 4 møbler, HabiCave, kom på markedet i februar 2021. Et møbel, der var prisvindende ved årets Formland Award samt Hoppekids Sustainable Entrepreneurship Award og desuden blev shortlistet ved Danish Design Award. De øvrige møbler i Habi-serien er alle møbler der ligeledes er bæredygtige, arbejder med akustik og med den sansemotoriske udvikling hos brugeren.

At Akusis we deliver relevant content to the more than 1 million people suffering from hypertension. At the same time, we facilitate an easy to use blood pressure measurement proces, that enables general practitioners to receive patient reported data with a significant higher data integrity than the excisting solutions. An ease of mind solution for both patients and doctors, that saves and improves lives, and lowers the expenses in the Danish healthcare system. Hypertension is serious, and when not treated it could be fatal. However, the impact can be reduced, if treated properly and at an early stage. We have talked to a number of both patients and doctors, and from this we learned: * Doctors require more than 500.000 measurements a year. Measurements are performed by the patients in their own home, and self-reported into an existing digital solution. * Measuring and entering data in the system can be difficult, and leads to mistakes in about 36% of the total measurements performed. This gives doctors a poor chance of diagnosing correctly. * There is a need of a more simple and intuitive system, that can reduce the number of bad measurements. * Furthermore, the patients report, that they need information on exactly what hypertension is, and what they can do themselves to lower their blood pressure levels (besides taking their medicine). * Patients feel left alone with a lot of questions, and no one to answer them. Instead they go online, and find the answers in various places, and too often answers that ends up worsening their condition. Our solution is based on our own website, and our mobile application. On both platforms we deliver the content that we know the patients need. Today it is scattered all over, and of mixed quality. We bring it all to a single place. On top of that, we add tailored treatment courses, and hand on tools to be implemented in an every day life, giving the patients a chance to act and improve. Our content is delivered by experts in the areas of sleep, exercise and nutrition, as we know that is what the patients ask for. For those that want more than just information, we deliver access to an easy to use measurement proces, by using the equipment already at hand. Historical readings can be seen on the application, notes can be taken, and it is even possible to send the data to the doctor. The combination of the above signigicantly reduces the impact of hypertension in Denmark, and represents an approach to this specific disease, that doesn´t exist today. The idea for this specific project comes from a member of the founder team, Kurt Rasmussen, and is further developed by the other team members, who are both health tech engineers. Kurt is a general practioner with more than 25 years of experience, and has for (too) long experienced issues related to poor quality of blood pressure measurements, and patients that want to do more, but don´t know how to. We strongly, both as general practitioner and health tech engineers want to improve the every day life of patients, and enabling them to life longer, fuller and richer lives, free from worries and not needed complications. By developing Akusis BPM System, we are able to do so, and at the same time reduce the costs of treating hypertensive patients in DK. We claim, that when fully implemented, we are able to reduce the costs in the amount of billions - even conservatively put around 2-3 of them every year.
