Our mission is to reduce the CO2 footprint in professional kitchens by reducing food waste and enabling a sustainable menu transition. Food waste is a 1.6-billion-ton problem that is estimated to account for 8-10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. We founded FoodOp in 2020 with the mission of combatting food waste in commercial kitchens.
