Blaris ApS

A new startup focusing on developing professional applications for handheld test and measurement instruments, to be used in the field or mobile work settings. The team has been in the space for some years, and has extensive knowledge of design, manufacturing, and integration of test equipment with software applications and cloud solutions. We want to increase the efficiency of the work that is being done with these tools, and to embed handheld tools with expert knowledge.

Docendo

Docendo is developing tools to help schools worldwide scheduling and plan their resources. Schools currently work in ad-hoc, centralized manner on resource planning which leads to suboptimal solutions and errors. At Docendo we build solutions that help delegate the work and make the numbers add up so no resources go wasted. At Docendo we strive to improve education for children worldwide.

Hervolution Therapeutics

HERVOLUTION Therapeutics (HERVOLUTION), an early-stage biotechnology company developing effective cancer and anti-aging immunotherapies targeting Human Endogenous Retroviruses (HERVs) HERVs are well recognized as tumour specific antigens, but until now, have been undruggable. HERVOLUTION has overcome this challenge and developed a powerful technology that can stimulate both arms of the immune system, the humoral and cellular response, against this rogue antigen class.

Frisk fra Gården

Frisk fra Gården is an online farmers market established in 2020 in Copenhagen. We make outstanding products, produced responsibly by small farmers, available to food lovers in the city through the platform www.friskfragaarden.dk. We are proud to have a high loyalty and customer satisfaction in our growing client base and a network of fully exceptional suppliers. However, we are still a young start-up, improving our market-fit while we prepare to scale.

HelloAgent

HelloAgent builds real estate solutions that help agents and stakeholders automate parts of their business. By providing actionable data and a software platform to boot, users can build automated marketing campaigns with hyper personalized marketing content for print. This has been a trivial an time consuming effort in the past, and the results has usually been sub par. With our software users can create messages that works, thus saving time and money, as well as getting much higher ROI on their marketing spend compared to traditional methods (flyers/direct mails). The company was founded by Simon Saxtorph who is himself a real estate agent. At a point where he wanted to become an independent agent, he found the tools that bigger agencies had access to, was not available for smaller, independent agents. This sparked the idea that that, perhaps other agents were missing out on market share, simply because they didn't have access to certain tools. This was quickly confirmed, and thus began the journey on building the ultimate toolset for agents and stakeholders.

Sennos

Sennos was brought to this planet to change surveys. We are taking two steps to reinvent the survey industry. Firstly; create the best survey-app for the people who use it, instead of boring them with a mile-long webform with uninspiring questions and answers. Secondly; develop a clever piece of software for analyzing and visualizing the data gathered from the various surveys. All in realtime, powered by machine learning.

SellersPoint

We are SellersPoint, a Danish communication and training platform targeted retail businesses with the vision of taking customer service to the next level. 94% of all companies within retail agree that investing in product and sales training is very important in improving customer satisfaction and achieving financial results. However, while product knowledge is one of the core selling points of brick-and-mortar stores, they seldomly have the resources to train employees in every new product. SellersPoint is a multisided platform for suppliers to deliver e-learning content, training sellers in promoting their product, while retailers receive a tool for educating, motivating, and increasing the performance of their employees. Key to the platform is the connection between supplier and retailer, ensuring a constant flow of new material. Currently, it is not feasible for suppliers to create proprietary systems, as they are unable to provide enough content to justify the costs of such systems. By creating a platform for all suppliers, SellersPoint reduces the cost of each individual supplier and retailer, while maximizing value. Our two-sided platform is based on two SaaS revenue streams. Suppliers and retailers. For retailers we offer a free version that includes access to all supplier content without limits! Because of the free version suppliers will refer related retailers to the platform and vice versa, to improve their value of the product. The team consists of 5 dedicated people working from our office in Aalborg Central. We recently closed a 7 digit investment round and are in the process of scaling the business! Laengsel Design

ORIGINS The story begins with two Portuguese siblings from Porto separated by different life paths. One, fully established in Copenhagen, Denmark and working as an Architect with a strong creativity mindset, focused in family, devoted mom of two lovely ones and an healthy lifestyle supporter. The other one, currently in Lisbon, Portugal working as an Executive Director and Brand Management Consultant for several design and furniture firms. Both with very different but complementary skills, a strong link between two highly contrasting cultures, a great desire of working together and something that glues everything together, Længsel. This special feeling led these two young siblings to create something unique in which they could spend some time together, exploring their particular skills, infusing a truly Danish experience and Scandinavian design influence with a very strong Portuguese background and heritage. And so, Længsel Design is born. The architectural lines, the contemporary elegance and the Scandinavian style are very present in pieces that were inspired by Portuguese historical marks, landscapes and cultural aspects. The nature of the brand privileges the local handmade and craftworks, natural materials and a sustainable relationship across the whole value chain. NEW NORDIC DESIGN In the Nordic product design, there is a necessity of practicality, with a focus on usefulness and durability, taking into account the surrounding natural world and its resources. Our point on new Nordic design is to incorporate the functionality, craftsmanship, minimalism and creative courage in every one of our creations. SUSTAINABLE CRAFTSMANSHIP At Længsel we are dedicated to reduce our environmental impact. We have a continuous research about the best sustainable options for our products. We choose woods that can be recycled or replaceable in a fast-growing rate. We look for fabrics that are rapidly renewable, biodegradable, recyclable or can be produced organically. PRODUCTION The production is all done in Portugal reinforcing a unique perspective on Laengsel´s creations. We want to innovate and defy crystalized ideas by having a close relationship with our local portuguese craftsman. We are proud to experience by first hand that they give all their love and knowledge to our minimalist and long lasting designs.

Pepbercorn

Pepbercorn is developing a stockphoto portal to help businesses and blog owners and whoever might need it solve the need for professional photos with pay per photo concept instead of a subscription. The motivation for the project comes from a desire to help companies and others with images where the user rights have been secured and which are easier to deal with than common similar services, as there is no ongoing subscription. Pepbercorn er ved at udvikle en stockfoto portal for at hjælpe virksomheder og bloggere - og hvem, der måtte have brug for det - med adgang til billeder taget af professionelle fotografer mod engangsbetaling pr. billede i stedet for et løbende abonnement. Motivationen til projektet kommer sig af en lyst til at hjælpe virksomheder og andre med billeder, hvor man har sikret sig brugerrettighederne og som er nemmere at have med at gøre end gængse lignende tjenester, idet der ikke er tilknyttet et løbende abonnement.

Mybanquet.dk is an online two-sided marketplace that exposes gastronomic companies' banquet solutions to BTC and B2B. To seek inspiration / information and to communicate with restaurants, inns, hotels, venues is time consuming and cumbersome for both individuals and companies. It is Mybanquet.dk experience that potential customers, at present, could easily have spent several weeks or months finding the perfect place for a wedding, confirmation or company party etc. At Mybanquet.dk, the user have an easy, inviting and a quick overview of the country's best hosts, restaurants, gastronomes and locations that work with high passion, good quality and professional integrity. Core service. Mybanquet.dk core service is the facilitation of the correspondence between guests and hosts, which in the end: - Saves time and money in the host's operation and with their customers. - Ensures rapid compliance between the guest's and host's needs, opportunities and desires. - Expands interfaces between supply and demand in Denmark's B2B and B2C - Increases topline revenue for our host´s - Decrease the time spent on aligning expectations from the guest Basis of ideas. The idea for Mybanquet.dk started with me wanting to increase awareness of the new exciting restaurants, which has opened in Denmark within the last 10 years. Several of these are run by old colleagues or acquaintances, which is the basis for the simultaneous desire to increase their turnover through that disseminate knowledge of their "company business" or "banquet business" as referred to in the professional language. This resulted in the concept “Mybanquet.dk”, which conveys our hosts' offers on the company's solutions for Eight people or more. Personal resources. Morten Barsø I have more than 7 years of experience as a manager in the country's best restaurants, and I have therefore had for a long time company business close in on life. The most notable places are: - Noma - 108 - Kiin Kiin - Restaurant Kommandanten I have more than 10 years of experience in planning and running events and events such as. CPH Fashion Week, Distortion and through this I have independently planned and run everything from weddings to street parties. At Noma I was in charge of their private dining department as Banquet Manager, we could accommodate up to 150 guests. I was in charge of everything in the department with a team of up to thirty. In addition, I have been in charge of restaurant Kommandanten in their Banquet department in Båstad Sweden, where we held weddings and events for up to 450 people every week, in addition to the normal restaurant operation. I have found a problem / niche in the industry that gives me the opportunity to take advantage of my competencies, and at the same time work with the people I thrive on working with. I am persistent and have a huge desire and will to achieve success and have throughout my life been involved in several great successes. Including i.a. the band Lukas Graham since the beginning of their career. Here I was personal advisor, assistant manager / tour manager m.m. for Lukas Forchhammer, and from here I have gained a great deal of insight into the requirements for starting a business. Videolink

Videolink er en unikt hightech kommunikationsystem til lowtech brugere - en slags ”Facetime for Oldies” via TV. Vi ønsker at styrke kontakten mellem generationerne i familien og inkludere eks. ældre familiemedlemmer i deres familie via brug af moderne bruger- og ældrevenlig kommunikations-teknologi. Vores mission er ganske enkelt at fjerne afsavn og minimere ensomheden. Vi har udviklet et helt unikt kommunikations-værktøj (som rent faktisk er en verdensnyhed), der muliggør, at eks. en beboer på et plejehjem, kan kommunikere med sine pårørende via videotale ved brug af eget TV. Og dette helt uden brug af nogen form for tastatur eller fjernbetjening. Det hele foregår automatisk ved, at "den som kalder op” (eks. en pårørende) modtager en SMS på ens smartphone, iPad eller PC, og så klikker vedkommende på dette link, og så starter modtagerens TV automatisk op, og ”videolink samtalen” kan begynde. Når eks. den pårørende "afslutter" videosamtalen, så slukker modtagerens TV helt automatisk igen (eller skifter helt automatisk tilbage til flow TV igen). Ideen opstod bl.a. ved, at vi har oplevet meget "ensomhed" på bl.a. plejehjem, hvor manglende kontakt til de pårørende syntes at påvirke beboernes livskvalitet. Desuden har vi et ønske om "at skabe lidt mere liv" hos den ældre del af befolkningen, som måske ikke er helt så teknologivante som gennemsnittet af befolkningen. Mange har et uopdaget behov for at holde deres familierelationer vedlige, men er måske "teknologi-skræmte", "teknologiske analfabeter", eller mangler motoriske færdigheder, er demente mm. og derfor måske har svært ved at kunne håndtere en iPad eller en smartphone. Det kan vi løse med Videolink, som er utroligt simpelt at anvende og desuden ikke kræver nogen fysisk interageren hos modtageren af videokaldet. Med Videolink, vil vi forbinde familier igen, som f.eks. pga alderdom, sygsom, demens etc. er blevet adskilt fra deres familier f.eks. ved at et ældre familiemedlem er flyttet på plejehjem, og dermed måske geografisk er distanceret fra deres familier. Desuden har den igangværende COVID-19 situation vanskeliggjort besøg på eks. plejehjem. Med Videolink håber vi dermed at kunne øget livskvaliteten og reducere ensomhed og afsavn for familier generelt. Vi giver de ældre borgere, som har skabt vores samfund, "en del af deres liv tilbage".

WAIR

WAIR is on a mission to give discarded textiles a new life through the power of upcycling. In our first product, we transform ''unperfect'' jeans and workwear into modern and sustainable sneakers. Textile upcycling is overlooked in the circular fashion agenda, but it is a powerful recirculation strategy, that minimizes the need for new virgin material, and retains the value in the discarded fabrics. Apart from shoes, we also include the consumers in the production of upcycled fashion through upcycling workshops. Here we empower people to take up the fight against fast fashion while getting to create unique fashion pieces and letting their creativity loose.
