Studies&Me is a contract research organization (CRO) specializing in Dermatology studies. We are on a mission to turn clinical operations upside down to make it fit into the everyday life of the participant, and thereby democratize clinical studies and patients' access to new treatments. At the moment we have a focus on the participant recruitment process for clinical studies, but our goal is to become the leading CRO within virtual dermatology studies. Virtual studies are studies that are conducted remotely and comfortably in the study participants' own home, as opposed to traditional centralized studies, where participants on a regular basis must spend time and money on traveling to a study-affiliated clinic. We are a team of 10 people from all over the world and we are looking forward to bringing more to the family. Our office is located in Health Tech Hub Copenhagen close to Nørreport Station. On working days lunch is cooked and served by our in-house chef and kitchen personnel. We also often bring people together for many different social events such as Friday bars, book clubs, workout challenges and board games. Studies&Me is part of the Sanos Group that also consist of Sanos Clinic, that is a Site Management Organization (SMO), NBCD, that is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in osteoarthritis and Sanos Supply, that is a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO).

DESIGNERS FIRST is a small Danish company established in 2017. Our collaboration with young upcoming designers creates fertile ground for creative and innovative solutions. The design must be able to last for several generations, the price must be at the lowest level, with as few intermediaries as possible. We started FÆRM in 2020 with the goal of making amazing plant-based cheese. To do that, we use traditional cheese production methods, locally sourced proteins and science combined with a whole lotta love. The problem that we’re solving is twofold. First and foremost conventional cheese has one of the highest carbon footprints in the food industry, with higher emissions than both chicken and pork. Secondly, the plant-based alternatives to cheese that do exist on the market generally fall short on both taste and texture, providing little incentive for consumers to make climate friendly choices. ElastiSense has developed a portfolio of unique sensor solutions for industrial applications helping its client in their digitalization journey. Assets unplanned downtime is one of the largest challenges across industrial segments causing, in average 1 million USD, revenue loss per incident. Over 80% of the customers experience unplanned downtime, and a similar number believes that digitalization is the tool to minimize this problem. Therefore 55% have or plan to invest in digitalization tools to enable predictive maintenance and better assets monitoring and control. Digital tools like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Digital Twins are designed to facilitate the above. However, they all need data from the assets which must be collected by sensors. Sensors and sensorization of assets are therefore the first part of customers digitalization journey. Available sensor solutions, especially displacement measuring sensors, are historically designed for well-controlled and clean environment like manufacturing industry. They inherent design therefore limits their use in aggressive applications. Therefore, the search for new displacement sensors have never been higher. We are the first who have developed and matured industrial displacement sensors primarily made of rubber material. Thanks to their resilience against mechanical and environmental aggressions, these sensors can sensorized even the most aggressive applications in the field. These sensors can be mounted e.g. on a mining machine, or a bridge or tunnel, on a aggressive manufacturing machine and generate data and information about the moving parts of the machines which breaks most often and therefore in crucial need of monitoring. The founders of ElastiSense are all former employees of Danfoss and have been involved on magnitude of projects where they again and again could see the problem. The founder finally took the leap to start up ElastiSense when they received an enquiry from Grundfos on digitalizing their production line with this new technology. Since then the team have succeeded to introduce the product to multitude of markets verticals.

More than 40% of the electrical energy in office environments is used outside working hours. CO2 in buildings has too high a level, which gives sick employees and students who lose 12% of their learning ability. Ventilation is often oversized by 10-20% due to uncertainty about CO2 levels, which have not been adequately investigated and measured. Often, consulting firms offer a measurement over 30 days. The measurements are only a snapshot of the real picture, which does not take into account the season and number of people in the room. VOCs in buildings are more harmful than first thought. VOC combined with too high CO2 can cause allergic reactions and over time develop asthma. The solution for reducing electricity consumption is to use intelligent automation and with behavior control. A sensor can be set up in areas that are used that automatically turn on the light when there is a person present. Several companies offer this solution, but if it is to be used for something, the devices must send data to the central server, after which you can analyze when and how much. The data set provides better management and control. For the CO2 problem, sensors are set up in the premises. The problem with existing sensors on the market is they have to be mounted with cable that is led maybe 100m away to a central box. It is both expensive and often not without surprises, especially for older buildings where drawings are often not updated. Sawux solves several of the mentioned problems. Sawux is a combination of 5 sensors in the same unit that measure and operate wirelessly. The sensors have access to a Cloud server, where data is collected every minute. Then data can be analyzed and given a real picture over time, which forms the basis for the right decision and correct ventilation systems. Sawux fits into existing 230V electrical environment and does not require cabling, boxes, battery or external power supplies. Sawux connects to the Internet via standard WiFi, which is found in all modern buildings. Sawux's solution is very cost effective and user friendly which is able to provide valid data. The Sawux system comes with an app. and web based energy management system, where you can at any time perform analysis of the building completely at the contact level.
