Meili FMS is a fleet manager for mobile robots with a vendor-agnostic approach. It enables operators to collate their diverse fleet onto one platform. By using Meili FMS, our users can finally use their mobile robot fleet to its full potential by orchestrating their fleet as a collective, regardless of the robot’s application, brand, or type. Our main mission is to eliminate interoperability pain points that have started to cast a shadow over the robotics industry. With more businesses adopting robots to carry out inventory management, material handling, and other applications, fleets are becoming more diverse. Robot manufacturers can hardly keep up with this growing demand, which means that companies will be deploying robots from various brands — with different operating systems. This is where the problem arises. Currently, robot manufacturers develop their own FMS, which means minimal to no correlation between systems. Rope Robotics is the developer and producer of an automatic BR-8 robot to be used as a unique repair solution for leading edges on turbine blades. Wind turbine blades need to be repaired to maintain their high performance. With manual labor turbine blades can only be repaired 20% of the time during a year due to the fact that it requires technicians to climb up with support from ropes. Using our robot to do the repair and maintenance work in the heights, we are going to expand this repair window and to improve the working environment for the technicians. We have several robot pilots in the pipeline in various places around the world and have received major funding from the EU and Danish Government.
