Pixop is a cloud-based AI- and ML-powered video enhancer that is designed to help production companies, TV stations, rightsholders and independent creators monetize their digital archives by enhancing and upscaling footage to fit today's screens. Current methods of video enhancement and upscaling used in film and TV preservation are manual, making them prohibitively expensive and time-consuming. Pixop automates the entire process using proprietary algorithms to improve the perceptual quality of footage while eliminating both complexity and cost. It includes a host of powerful features, including video asset management, storage, video quality analysis, transcoding, a range of share options, and a quality guarantee. Pixop is built on AWS infrastructure and can easily be scaled to accommodate variable workloads and requirements. As things stand, much of the audiovisual artifacts of the 20th and 21st centuries — including reels of beloved film and television — are in danger of being lost due to source degradation and obsolete technology. CAMAR is a new innovative Danish software company founded in March 2017 that now works in an international context (currently Denmark, Sweden, U.S.A., UK and Latvia). CAMAR has nine highly skilled active owners, two FTE and in process of expanding the organisation. CAMAR has invented a technology `TacTile Pinpoint´ that enables existing touch devices to provide tactile feedback while “hoover” with a finger over a screen. In April 2018, we granted the US patent for its technical fundament and it continues to develop worldwide patent applications. The first edition of Software Development Kit (SDK) is in place and demo app prepared and about to start PoC projects with international companies. CAMAR’s proprietary and patented technology “TacTile PinPoint” uses vibration to dramatically increase the tactile feedback from touchscreens, affording users a much more intuitive experience, while reducing the need to look at the touchscreen. TacTile PinPoint enables a much safer interaction with touchscreens, especially in situations where a moment’s distraction can have disastrous consequences, such as driving or operating machinery.

Swöm is a Nordic safety tech startup addressing drowning, one of the leading causes of death. Through the use of sensor and wearable airbag technology we have developed smart swimwear which automatically inflates in a potential drowning situation. Our initial product focus on children with plans for further expansion into the active water lifestyle segments (surfers, swimmers, kayakers etc) through licensing of our technology to leading brands across the globe. We have over a 3 year R&D period developed a unique and patent pending wearable safety hardware platform and are now in the process of starting commercialisation as well as developing version two which includes the introduction of space tech to add a tracking and alarm feature to the product. Our funding comes from both investors as well as grants. We were born in the incubation program at the VC Antler and have received grants for instance from the European Space Agency and the Danish Innovation fund.
