We are a Copenhagen-based startup with a vision to be a growth enabler for independent retail stores. Independent retail stores make a huge difference in their local communities but face many challenges today. Our mission is to be the preferred platform for retailers to share exclusive offers on exciting products with their customers, creating and administering events, and communicating digitally with their customers - all helping these stores thrive like never before. Introduction to Ning (CEO): Ning is an experienced entrepreneur and executive with a strong track record, having worked in the roles of business owner and managing director across various settings from startups to large blue-chip companies, e.g. Novozymes and Coloplast. As a second-time startup co-founder, Ning brings valuable experience in scaling businesses, expanding internationally, and managing corporate mergers and acquisitions. Ning obtained his education in both Asia and the Nordics, and he enjoys spending time with his family on various sports and board games in spare time. Introduction to Christopher (CCO): Prior to co-founding LikeMinded, Christopher spent more than two years working in investment banking at Citi in London, where he worked with Private Equity, Growth Equity and Venture Capital clients, and got extensive exposure to M&A transactions totalling more than €5bn across various sectors. Prior to this he worked as a VC analyst for the largest Danish VC fund, and was part of the sales team at Saxo Bank. Christopher has a BSc in International Business from CBS, and also studied at Columbia Business School. Currently he is taking a pilot license, and enjoys surfing, playing and watching football, and likes to travel with his girlfriend. Introduction to Lars (CTO): Lars is a 2nd time founder with over 15 years of experience as CTO, and successfully exited from his previous venture. He has a very strong track record as a hands-on full-stack developer, with has a proven ability to build excellent teams.

BOXHUB is disrupting the sale of used shipping containers - A global billion-dollar industry. We will make it simple, efficient and transparent for everyone to buy and sell shipping containers By doing this we enable the re-use and upcycling of the 25 million shipping containers currently in circulation around the world. Our customers turn shipping containers into anything from Affordable housing, pop-up restaurants, emergency shelters and a number of sustainable storage solutions.

SubBook

The Solution to Our Time’s Flood of Pictures Lies in Photo Books. We are living in a time where we take more pictures than ever before. However, it is also a time where we no longer have them developed or spend time looking at them together. This has the team behind the Danish company SubBook come up with a solution to. They have made it easy to get the photo books back in the living rooms, so that friends and family can gather around the pictures and look back at all of their greatest memories together. And now they are expanding to the international market. The team has developed a photo book app called SubBook, which allows users to collect pictures from both Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, and the iPhone camera roll to make simple photo books as easy as possible. They have made it with a particular focus on a user-friendly experience, so that people can both create and order their photo books while grocery shopping or in the bus on the way home from work. Because the team would like to spread the joy of perpetuated memories and the possibility to make simple, personalized, and cheap photo books to even more people, they now have entered the international market. In doing so they have also launched their website and app in English versions, while their photo books are delivered to all of Europe. With a sustainable aim. As the team wishes to give something back to the resources they use in their production, SubBook has joined in with the organization One Tree Planted. This collaboration means that a tree is planted every time a customer orders three books using the SubBook app. The team care a great deal about the traces they leave on our Earth and because of this, they only use paper qualities complying with international environmental requirements. This also means that their customers can order books with a clean and green conscience. For now, the SubBook app only works with iPhones, but as a part of their international launch the team is working tirelessly on developing an app for Android users, so that many more can join in on getting pictures out of the phones and into the photo books.

hiveonline is a fintech startup headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, with subsidiaries in Stockholm, Sweden and Kigali, Rwanda, where our development team is located. We give communities of unbanked businesses, primarily women led, access to formal finance through a digital reputation. We are supporting village savings groups with blockchain technology with our MVP accounting app, and building on this to help cooperatives, agricultural associations and their members create more sustainable farming communities. Kitchenswaps is an online marketplace for commercial kitchen space, matching kitchen owners with food businesses. High rental and operating costs and low profit margins for commercial kitchen owners (think restaurants, cafe's, you name it!) has resulted in a rise in bankruptcies, further compounded by the pandemic. At the same time, there is a large shortage of commercial kitchens, limiting food entrepreneurs to start/expand their business, preventing them from vital development. Our 'win-win' circular solution optimizes unused kitchen spaces by renting it out to businesses in need of flexible and affordable licenced kitchens. This maximizes revenue for kitchen owners and minimizes barriers to entry through easier access for food businesses.
