KiteX

At KiteX, we're revolutionising energy with innovative wind turbines inspired by kites. Our mission? To make wind turbines that use significantly less material, offering a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to traditional turbines. Our journey began by envisioning wind turbines that combine the efficiency of kites and autonomy of drones. On this path we found an hybrid design with guy wire supported tower and blades could achieve almost the same material savings, but without any of the disadvantages. Our unique approach centres on patience, refining technology step by step, and focusing on sustainable solutions. We're scaling up production of the groundbreaking Wind Catcher, a portable off-grid turbine, while designing a larger, grid-connected successor. As we grow, we're seeking exceptional team members in marketing, customer support, technical, and electrical engineering. Treesy ApS er en dansk climate tech-startup, der gør det nemt, billigt og gennemskueligt for privatpersoner og virksomheder at tage konkret klimahandling gennem træplantning i Tanzania. Mange mennesker og virksomheder ønsker at gøre noget for klimaet, men oplever i dag, at løsningerne er uoverskuelige, dyre, abstrakte eller svære at stole på. Samtidig vokser både klima- og biodiversitetskrisen, og behovet for skalerbare, troværdige og handlingsorienterede løsninger er større end nogensinde. Treesy er skabt for at fjerne barriererne for klimahandling. Vi tilbyder en enkel abonnementsbaseret model, hvor kunder planter træer som en konkret måde at reducere og balancere deres klimaaftryk. Vores tilgang er baseret på konservative beregninger, radikal transparens og lokal forankring. Alle træer plantes i samarbejde med lokale partnere i Tanzania og bliver: • individuelt geo-tagget • monitoreret mindst fire gange årligt • passet og genplantet i op til tre år efter plantning Vi planter et diversificeret mix af træer med fokus på både klima, biodiversitet og lokal økonomi. Det betyder, at vores indsats ikke kun handler om CO₂, men også om at styrke økosystemer, skabe lokal indkomst og opbygge mere robuste lokalsamfund gennem agroforestry og frugttræer. Flowering.dk

Centrally located in Copenhagen, Flowering is developing bouquets with a reduced CO2 output to help environmentally conscious customers reduce waste and promote sustainability with beautifully crafted, eco-friendly floral arrangements. Flowering addresses the significant issue of flower waste in the floral industry. This problem affects both the environment and flower producers, contributing to unnecessary carbon footprints. The widespread waste impacts growers, retailers, and consumers who seek sustainable alternatives. Our team at Flowering sources surplus flowers that would otherwise be discarded and repurposes them into beautiful, high-quality bouquets in combination with local and certified flowers. By implementing efficient logistics and innovative design processes, we ensure these flowers reach customers fresh and vibrant, reducing waste and promoting sustainability without any intermediaries. The inspiration for Flowering came from witnessing the vast amounts of perfectly good flowers being discarded daily. Motivated by a passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive environmental impact, we left our jobs and studies to focus on creating a business that not only delivers beauty but also champions environmental responsibility.

STAC Technology ApS

The need for cooling is growing all over the world due to global warming. STAC's focus is on developing zero emission cooling solutions using water as the refrigerant and our product solutions are made to plug and play replace current cooling chillers using destructive synthetic refrigerants. STAC Technology makes sustainable industrial cooling solutions exclusively using water as the refrigerant. STAC's cooling solutions are designed to be used in multiple applications across a variety of industries. STAC Technology is a hardtech cleantech R&D Engineering company was started in 2016 and has been going through a speedy development since 2020 and is now funded by EIC, European Innovation Council and the commercialization phase in 2024-2027 will be funded by a consortium consisting of EIB, European Investment Bank and others.
