As this real-time information about the physical origin of electricity will be scrutinized and challenged by many parties, the effort has to be collaborative, open, and transparent. This is what motivated the creation of Electricity Maps. It started as a simple real-time data visualization in June 2016 and turned into a comprehensive data platform with high scientific integrity. Kvasir is solving one of the most difficult problems in the world; how to replace fossil fuels in the heavy transportation industries. Kvasir has developed and patented a unique process to convert ligno-cellulosic plant biomass (straw, wood, bagasse etc. ) to marine fuel in a simple one step process. The process involves cooking biomass in an alcohol atmosphere under pressure, effectively liquefying the biomass. Were developing our technology in our in-house lab and workshop facilities in Soeborg and are also collaborating with universities in both Denmark and abroad.
