Carpooling solves three major societal problems; lack of mobility outside the big cities, congestion during rush hour and CO2 emissions from the transport sector. Nabogo is a solution with the mission that everyone enjoys city-like public mobility - we make it affordable for society, companies, and citizens. There are only 1.08 people in a commuter car on average, which leads to queues, pollution and time wasted in traffic. Furthermore, finding parking spaces in cities, towns and near large workplaces has not become easier. And last but not least, the high proportion of cars with one person has a significant negative impact on the environment. With a dedicated effort for carpooling, it is not unrealistic that together we can reduce the number of cars and CO2 emissions by up to 25%. That is why we have created nabogo, a carpooling service for daily trips and commuting between districts, towns, business areas and stations. Our primary customers are public transport companies, municipalities, regions and the corporate sector. Once the solution is established in an area, it can be used at no cost to users. Naturally, a successful transition to carpooling requires active support from municipalities, educational institutions, businesses and local communities to spread information about the possibility of greener and more affordable commuting. Fortunately, we are well on our way here with several cross-cutting collaborations. A core functionality of the nabogo app is our pre-defined meeting points, which are places where people drive to and from and pass by - and which function as fixed pick-up and drop-off points for carpooling. This makes it easy and fast to coordinate carpooling, while creating a new infrastructure and improved mobility in the area. The app is closely integrated with public transport to show all the possibilities. We establish meeting points in collaboration with our partners, and this function ensures good hubs between carpooling and public transport, for example at stations. Nabogo is thus a complete alternative to driving alone in your own car. In collaboration with the municipalities, communication efforts are directed towards districts and towns, and we engage businesses and educational institutions so that citizens are informed where they live, work or study. The uMover® is a smart and usability-focused 3-wheel electrical vehicle for transporting people over shorter indoor and outdoor distances (0,5-5 km). It has been developed by us, DTU spinout CJ Company IVS, whom have built the uMover® upon a future mobility concept proposed by Continental AG (CAG). The uMover® targets employees who need to travel frequently within shorter distances, enabling them to become more efficient at work by easing their way of travel and reducing their travel time substantially. The uMover® will be a superior work-environment travel solution, as it – due to its smart design – offers the flexible advantages of walking, but with the similar speed and ease as driving a car or a bike. Drawbacks of the solutions in the market today are high prices, space requirements (especially for cars), no compliance with traffic regulations and laws and poor safety control (limiting the indoor application possibilities). Through cooperation with DTU and CAG we have been able to complete a full proof-of-concept and develop several of the unique mechanical components and are now in the detailing phase of the mechanical and electrical construction for a scale-up of the uMover®.

GLYON is developing a CO₂-powered textile-to-textile recycling technology to help brands, fiber producers, and recyclers solve the growing textile waste crisis with a breakthrough chemical recycling process that turns waste into virgin-quality raw materials for new fibers—without fossil fuels. We address the massive problem of textile waste, a global crisis where over 92 million tonnes of textile waste are discarded each year—most of it ending up in landfills or incinerated. This contributes to major pollution issues but also forces the textile industry to continue its dependence on virgin fossil-based materials. Our solution targets fiber producers, brands, and recyclers who need circular raw material solutions. Our CO₂-based chemical recycling process breaks down polyester textiles into building blocks and leaves other fibers like cotton intact. Both PET building blocks and cotton can be used to produce new, high-quality fibers without the need for virgin oil and reducing water consumption and CO₂ emissions.
