Spiio

Spiio is an In-Ground Data as a Service provider, helping sports turf professionals enhance agronomic decision making, to save money and labor time when managing their golf courses and sports facilities. Our customers include high profile golf courses in the USA, great American Football teams, baseball fields, champions league soccer clubs in Europe and multinational agriculture fertiliser companies.

Trebo

Trebo is a cleantech startup that develops and manufactures a novel fluid-mechanical based plastic sorting technology. The sorting technology enables the plastic industry to sort large-scale plastic-type mixtures and transform the industry’s production waste into valuable resources. The Procurement costs on virgin materials are reduced and the environmental impact from incinerating or dumping plastic waste is eliminated. The annual global production of plastic has in 2019 exceeded more than 300,000,000,000 kg and even though the majority of plastic waste is suited for recycling purposes, more than 90% of the global production of plastic is either incinerated, deposited or dumped in nature. As the production of one kilogram of virgin plastic on average requires three kilograms of natural oil, the plastic industry is a global large-scale consumer of fossil fuels and therefore an important intrant in the green and sustainable changeover of the industry. Due to the wide palette of applications and physical characteristics of plastics, many end-user plastic products consist of one or more different types of plastic. As the quality and application performance of mixed plastic is decreased critically compared to the pure counterpart, plastic mixes are often considered as waste and therefore incinerated or sold to a price significantly lower than the price of the virgin plastic. Industrial waste streams of mixed plastic constitute approximately 60% of the total plastic waste stream. We believe it is critical to develop technologies that effectively sorts and restores the value and physical properties of the virgin plastic. Kaffe Bueno

Kaffe Bueno is a Danish bioscience company based in Copenhagen, we upcycle coffee by-products into active and functional ingredients for cosmetics, nutraceuticals and functional foods. Our vision is to change the world sees coffee - from a caffeinated beverage to a sustainable resource for health and wellbeing. Our mission is to unlock coffee's health and commercial potential by taking advantage of the whole spectrum of its bioactive compounds. Some of the things we do: - Produce KAFFOIL: an active cosmetic ingredient upcycled from coffee grounds. It's used for healthy ageing, hair care, moisturising, and improving the skin barrier. You can find it in over 15 brands worldwide, including NIVEA. KAFFOIL is also used as an ingredient in food & beverage. - Produce KAFFIBRE: upcycled defatted coffee fibre used as an ingredient in cosmetics and food & beverage. - Circular partnerships: we upcycle spent coffee grounds from local businesses in Denmark into toiletries (hand soaps, shampoos, lotions and creams) and have a private label brand for these. - New products coming soon, all derived from molecules from within coffee.

Klimate

We are devoted to accelerating the development and adoption of technologies that can help fight climate change by actively removing CO2 from the atmosphere. The challenge We are emitting 50 Gigatons of CO2 every year, and that needs to be reduced by at least 80%. However, that still leaves 10 Gigatons of CO2, and we need to get all the way to zero. Trees are great, but we need many more solutions as well if we are to get to zero. Currently, most of these are way too expensive (and limited in capacity) for companies to use. We've developed a platform that combines methods and makes it available to every company that wants to compensate their emissions. We work with cutting edge technologies, including Direct Air Capture, Bio char, Bio oil etc.

NIRAS Green Tech Hub

NIRAS has built the most incredible space for green tech startups with 5000m2 of office space, storage and production facilities. NIRAS Green Tech Hub is for startups seeking an extraordinary office space with cool meeting rooms in a vibrant, green and colorful environment with great coffee in the café. Startups will also be able to rent large storage spaces, build MVPs and have actual production in the production hall. This is the place where startups, innovative ideas and green engineering specialists meet. By accessing not only the vibrating hub with peer entrepreneurs, but also the best engineers specialised in sustainability with in different industries such as food, beverage, building, energy, infrastructure etc. The co-development and collaboration between startups and NIRAS’ many experts will be the fast track to grow ideas and innovations. Currently 25 startups and scaleups saluting the green transition is reciting in the hub on a daily basis, but we are working with more than 100 startups on an annual basis through our different programs and activities.

We are a team of experts in engineering, construction and enterprise SaaS development, and we are turning material waste into profits for construction projects. More importantly, we avoid up to 1.5% of the global CO2eq emissions resulting from the construction industry.

Copenhagen Atomics A/S

We are changing the world! Copenhagen Atomics is building the next generation nuclear reactors for the world based on molten salt technology. This provides a cheap and clean energy source that aims to change the energy system in general. A thorium based molten salt reactor is small, efficient, safe and is burning the nuclear waste from current nuclear plants.

Elysium Energy

Elysium Energy is building the AI-enabled platform that accelerates energy decentralization by unifying distributed energy resource (DER) projects with developers, capital, and expertise in a marketplace ecosystem. We're eliminating the fragmentation that kills 90% of DER projects by creating a single source of truth across the entire project lifecycle—from concept to operation. We have 5 active design partners across US, UK, and Indonesia, 2 pilot projects converting to paid customers, and have raised $150K SAFE from ERA plus $100K in non-dilutive grants. Our MVP is live and demonstrating 18% CAPEX reduction and 20% OPEX savings for energy projects. We're addressing a $16B software opportunity in the rapidly growing DER market.

Everimpact

Everimpact is dedicated to simplifying the measurement of greenhouse gas emissions for cities and businesses, facilitating emission reduction opportunities, and supporting essential climate investments. Our innovative climate monitoring system integrates satellite data, ground sensors, and AI into a robust software platform, enabling accurate determination of carbon footprints. By doing so, our clients can identify emission reduction opportunities and access funding for their climate initiatives.

Hybird

At Hybird, we operate at the intersection of hardware and software where we are bringing the electrical panel online and transforming it into a data platform. This gives us an opportunity to improve tooling for installers and facility managers, as well as surface actionable insights to a variety of stakeholders. The objective for us is to increase our understanding of power consumption and use that to help curb consumption.

Agoprene AS

Agoprene is a biotech startup based in Oslo and Copenhagen. Agoprene is developing furniture foam from biomass to help the furniture industry reduce their need for petrochemicals. ​ Globally, furniture foam, which is derived from petroleum, accounts for 105 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. One armchair for example, emits an average of 43 kg CO2e, almost half of which is due to furniture foam. ​ Agoprene's foam is completely free of petrochemicals. We believe finding planet-friendly alternatives isn’t a challenge; it’s an opportunity.
