Incremental Maritime is developing a digital compliance solution that helps shipowners and operators navigate complex decarbonization regulations; transforming compliance into lower emissions and higher margins. Our deep regulatory expertise, data-driven models, and hands-on client support are what set us apart. Global shipping faces an accelerating tide of climate regulation, from the IMO’s GHG Fuel Intensity targets to FuelEU Maritime and EU ETS. Hydrovertic is a startup focused on revolutionizing the horticulture industry by providing low-cost vertical growing systems. These systems enable greenhouse growers to produce plants more efficiently and sustainably, without the use of chemicals. Gate2Horizon is a new company, which leverages the experience of its employees in the domain of so-called "exploitation of project results" in large EU-funded Research & Innovation projects (under the Horizon Europe - Pillar II funding programme). We work across diverse sectors such as Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, Mining, Aquaculture, and Health Policy. As part of the consortium in the EU projects, we assist project partners in the exploitation of their project results with a hands-on approach and tools to make sure the results coming out of the project are "exploited" at the end of the project's lifetime, that is "made us of to tackle societal problems, in policymaking or for commercial purposes". In the initial phase, we identify and characterize results and their potential owners. We thereafter monitor them and select the ones with the most potential, which we nurture throughout the project lifetime with the help of our tools and services.​ We do it through: - conducting workshops on different commercial and entrepreneurial topics - holding individual coaching sessions with project partners - using credible methodologies such as the Value Proposition, Business Model Canvas, EC's Innovation Radar In a nutshell, we exploit the project results and help them on their journey towards market-ready and standalone businesses or we connect them to partners that can help with further research and development toward market readiness.

OCEAN IDEASHIP is a non profit organization, based on a broad foundation of collaboration. The quest is to share knowledge about the blue transition and empower blue impact startups. We are making a flagship for the blue transition, and sailing from place to place, we will share knowledge and showcase the possibilities in the blue in the green transition. The decentralized and the fragmented second-hand market creates a time-consuming and frustrating experience for shoppers to locate desired items among incomplete listings and outdated platforms. THE SOLUTION Koral aggregates millions of second-hand listings into one searchable platform with categorized, indexed data to create a one-stop solution. This eliminates tedious searches across individual platforms, making shopping second-hand is easier by improving discoverability and streamlining the process of finding desired items online.

Girls' education is an incredibly powerful climate solution due to its stong relationship with child marriage prevention and subsequent delayed motherhood; impacting population growth and lowering consumption-based emissions. 130 million girls in the world's poorest and most climate-vulnerable communities are effectively excluded from education due to poverty. Humanitarian organizations in low-income countries constantly struggle to fundraise and are never able to fully meet the needs of the most marginalized. SoGreen is a startup with a big heart and an even bigger ambition: A world where all girls realise their right to education and climate justice is placed at the heart of all climate action. In collaboration with leading scientists at renowned European research institutions in the field of demography and climate science,* SoGreen has developed a methodology to quantify the climate impact of girls' education in tonnes CO2-equivalent avoided. This allows for the generation of carbon credits (1 ton = 1 carbon credit) which can be sold on the international carbon market to channel climate finance to girls' education. In partnership with FAWEZA, a leading pan-African NGO focusing on girls' education, SoGreen's pilot project is being implemented in Zambia. Over the coming 5 years, the project will ensure a full secondary education for 180 marginalized girls. All carbon credits generated by the project have been sold ex ante to over 30 companies that have ambitious sustainability strategies, which allow for the use of carbon credits in addition to reducing their own emissions. SoGreen aims to be the provider of the worlds most popular carbon credits within the next 5 years; resulting in a powerful reduction in emissions and a massive increase in educational attainment - a basic human right. *International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Austria, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Germany, and The Wittgenstein Centre for Demography and Global Human Capital (WIC) in Austria.
