NitroVolt is decarbonizing nitrogen-based fertilizer production and making the agricultural sector more resilient with a novel production process. Commercial ammonia production supports 40-50% of the agricultural industry as a nitrogen-based fertilizer. But current ammonia production is not sustainable, releasing over 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions during production facilities and further emissions during transportation to the end user, farmers. NitroVolt offers a local ammonia production solution that gives farmers the ability to produce their own nitrogen-based fertilizer. The only inputs required by NitroVolt’s container-sized systems are air, water, and electricity, enabling production of sustainable ammonia directly at farms. NitroVolt’s patented electrochemical Nitrolyzer unit can make ammonia on-demand with intermittent renewable energy sources. With their technology, NitroVolt aims to decarbonize nitrogen-based fertilizer production one farm at a time, cut the logistic costs of distributing fertilizer, and make the agricultural sector more resilient to external factors.

Igennem de sidste 4 år har vi arbejdet sammen med ledende hoteller i Danmark, samt afholdt en årlig kåring, Climate Award, for at finde Danmarks mest klimavenlige hotel. Klimascore er baseret på hotellernes egne data og direkte udledning. I nær dialog med hotelledelsen og nøgleansatte hjælper vi herefter hotellerne med at blive mere klimavenlige samtidigt med at de driver deres forretning fremad, både ift. at opnå besparelser, men også i forhold til branding, medarbejdertilfredshed m.m.

Vi arbejder for at reducere vores enorme plastikproduktion ved blandt andet at eliminere unødvendig engangsplastik fra vores produkter, ved at sætte bedre rammer for hvordan vi designer produkter til mere genbrug, og det plastik vi ikke kan genbruge, skal vi kunne genanvende. Vi arbejder både på politisk niveau, sammen med befolkningen, i samarbejde med innovationspartnere, på internationalt niveau, sammen med forskere og med at uddanne vores fremtidige generationer om problemet. We have designed a filtration system, with the purpose of collecting particles such as microplastics and aquatic biomass from seawater, used in production and maritime industries.
