This is a Copenhagen branch of 180 Degrees Consulting, the world's largest student-led consultancy for non-profits and social enterprises. The management board consists of student volunteers who dedicate their free time to organise and lead for sustainable impact. 180 Degrees provides socially conscious organisations around the world with high quality and extremely affordable consulting services. We work with organisations to develop innovative, practical and sustainable solutions to whatever challenges they might be facing. Each semester, we have a carefully selected team of 30 highly motivated and engaged university students who possess a combination of expertise, creativity and problem-solving ability.

Scale Incubator is made by experienced entrepreneurs, who are eager to share their knowledge and wisdom with businesses, startups and entrepreneurs. We provide support and hands-on help with incredible entrepreneurs and start-ups to build the next big thing from scratch. Only when a plan is successfully implemented can the startup dream of becoming a successful venture. We want to help start-ups be successful from the very beginning. We help start-ups with hands-on help and we become closely involved in managing and organizing the company. Starting up a new business can a big challenge. When doing so, it takes great motivation, dedication, and determination, but success also requires help and advice to make the correct decisions in difficult situations.

Our wastewater market intelligence platform incorporates data from this world’s environmental protection agencies – US EPA, German Umweltbundesamt, Danish Miljøstyrelsen etc., combine it with other data sources, and make it all easily available in our data platform.

NitroVolt is decarbonizing nitrogen-based fertilizer production and making the agricultural sector more resilient with a novel production process. Commercial ammonia production supports 40-50% of the agricultural industry as a nitrogen-based fertilizer. But current ammonia production is not sustainable, releasing over 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions during production facilities and further emissions during transportation to the end user, farmers. NitroVolt offers a local ammonia production solution that gives farmers the ability to produce their own nitrogen-based fertilizer. The only inputs required by NitroVolt’s container-sized systems are air, water, and electricity, enabling production of sustainable ammonia directly at farms. NitroVolt’s patented electrochemical Nitrolyzer unit can make ammonia on-demand with intermittent renewable energy sources. With their technology, NitroVolt aims to decarbonize nitrogen-based fertilizer production one farm at a time, cut the logistic costs of distributing fertilizer, and make the agricultural sector more resilient to external factors.

At Lyras, we develop and manufacture systems for the liquid food processing industry.We aim to replace traditional heat-based pasteurization and spore removal in the food processing industry by introducing our novel cold pasteurisation technology, which reduces the energy consumption related to traditional heat-pasteurization by more than 90%.Our goal is to provide a greener and more efficient technological change to a global industry, allowing for a truly sustainable production chain.
