mellow designs is a circular design and construction company. We specialise in designing indoor and outdoor spaces using upcycled material like euro pallets and scaffolding systems. We have invented unique connection systems that allow us to use material in a modular manner to design and construct temporary infrastructure. Global shipping faces an accelerating tide of climate regulation, from the IMO’s GHG Fuel Intensity targets to FuelEU Maritime and EU ETS. In the European Union alone, more than 1.5 million paint buckets are discarded daily, constituting a disposal of 340 tons of single-use plastic that is incinerated each day. Starting from early 2023 (2025 in Denmark and Slovenia), manufacturers are obligated to cover the disposal costs of their packaging based on sustainability criteria. In Denmark, this translates to an estimated 15% fee on paint buckets. Furthermore, the conventional round shape of packaging has proven suboptimal for logistics and transportation. Beyond its environmental impact, the traditional paint bucket poses challenges for professional painters. These challenges encompass ergonomic issues during handling, such as the strain of lifting two buckets simultaneously, which exceeds recommended weight limits according to the Working Environment Authority. Painters also find themselves in awkward positions when pouring paint into a roller bucket for wall application. The demanding physical nature of the painting profession in Denmark results in accelerated fatigue and early retirement for painters. Additionally, issues like lid leakage due to dried paint and the use of fragile, porous plastic contribute to unexpected spills, particularly during abrupt vehicle stops. Our innovative solution involves a cardboard box housing two patent-pending plastic bags, each containing 5 liters of paint. This packaging not only enhances the workflow for professional painters but also reduces costs and lowers carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions by approximately 65% per unit. The box's design facilitates easy and ergonomic transportation, allowing for a 45% increase in units per pallet. The box is opened, and one of the bags is inserted into a standard roller bucket used by painters. The bag effortlessly opens and seamlessly fits into the roller bucket, wrapping around the edges, and enabling the painter to begin work promptly. This functionality is made possible through an innovative patented design and specific plastic welding techniques.

Using comprehensive data scopes involving website traffic, energy intensity of web data and real-time carbon intensity of the electricity grid, GreenWeb. offers members to climate neutralize their web solutions and actively assist in reducing the footprint of the site.

OCEAN IDEASHIP is a non profit organization, based on a broad foundation of collaboration. The quest is to share knowledge about the blue transition and empower blue impact startups. We are making a flagship for the blue transition, and sailing from place to place, we will share knowledge and showcase the possibilities in the blue in the green transition. With a sailing flagship we can create the attention the ocean deserves, and make sure that the blue transition gets the same awareness and acceptance as the green transition have today. By building capacity, knowledge and awareness into the startup ecosystem that supports entrepreneurs, we will secure many more blue impact projects in the future.

SolarDrive Container Power (SDCP) is a greentech 🌳 on a mission to deliver carbon-neutral electricity to the world's most remote, off-the-grid, areas and organizations. We do that through our efficient plug & play solar power units that leverage a central part of the global infrastructure - the standardized shipping container. Our product, the Solar Container Power (CPS) units, fits perfectly and easily on top of standard ISO containers and provides electricity in remote areas or in situations where alternatives are expensive or not available. 🌍 Around the world, shipping containers are used as makeshift offices, storage, or place of stay. In this sense, our solution replaces or supplements generators, wind, or grid power. The units come with built-in battery capacity, inverter, MPPT, charger and control system. This means our users only need the sunshine and an extension cable to get power ⚡️ Our product 📦 is patented and has military and civilian applications. Our potential customers count international development and aid organizations, resource extraction, and construction companies. We operate from Copenhagen and Hundslund, south of Aarhus.

Electric, water, sewage and district heating companies use our software to reduce costs by atl east 25% or increase quality of service (QoS) by 25%. We make the green transition affordable. Power supplies are bulky and limit the design opportunities for LED lighting. For high end design lighting the size is a major issue, forcing designers to compromise the quality to reach desired designs. NPC cut the size to a fifth using patented technology. Products are on the market, a solid customer based and funnel has been build, and 10x growth is expected in 2022.

Aguardio helps hotels save water and costs, while improving their sustainability.  In order to save water resources, our goal is to reduce the water consumption during showers.
