Many people are talking about the smart grid and how we can reach 100% sustainable energy, and avoid global warming getting out of hand, by intelligently balancing the consumption so it fits with the electricity production. At True Energy we're already doing it! True Energy offers a smart charging app to our end users so they can register their car or charger and have it start or stop charging based on the hour of day and the electricity price, so the user optimizes their charging to be cheapest. The service is free of charge for the end user because they participate in our flexibility pool where the power companies can buy offsetting of the consumption if the grid is overloaded or production is expensive. We use Google Workspace, GitLab as code repo, Jira for our agile project management, and Slack for chat. We have a policy of 100% line coverage for unit tests, and want to support continuous delivery. We focus on collaboration and an open, inclusive work environment. Our team is multinational, and the working language is English, so full proficiency is required.. We have team members in several time zones.

Today’s processes are highly linear: raw materials are extracted, processed into products, used a few times, and then discarded—either incinerated or buried in landfills. We aim to change that. At ARIS, our ultimate goal is to create a world without waste. This means transforming linear processes into circular ones. The first step towards effective recycling is good sorting. We develop scalable and automated solutions using deep learning to recognize and sort waste efficiently. Currently, we are serving our beachhead market—public recycling centers. Here, we assist visitors in correctly sorting their waste, extending the lifespan of materials and reducing the need to extract more raw materials from our limited planet. Plastic Change en dansk miljøorganisation med et ambitiøst internationalt sigte Vi arbejder hårdt med at knække den stigende kurve over plastikspild. Plastik er overalt – på land og til vands. Tre generationers forbrug af plastik har sat sine spor. Kun en lille del bliver genbrugt eller destrueret. Resten ligger i naturen i hundredvis af år. Vi arbejder for at reducere vores enorme plastikproduktion ved blandt andet at eliminere unødvendig engangsplastik fra vores produkter, ved at sætte bedre rammer for hvordan vi designer produkter til mere genbrug, og det plastik vi ikke kan genbruge, skal vi kunne genanvende. Vi arbejder både på politisk niveau, sammen med befolkningen, i samarbejde med innovationspartnere, på internationalt niveau, sammen med forskere og med at uddanne vores fremtidige generationer om problemet.
