Treesy ApS er en dansk climate tech-startup, der gør det nemt, billigt og gennemskueligt for privatpersoner og virksomheder at tage konkret klimahandling gennem træplantning i Tanzania. Mange mennesker og virksomheder ønsker at gøre noget for klimaet, men oplever i dag, at løsningerne er uoverskuelige, dyre, abstrakte eller svære at stole på. Samtidig vokser både klima- og biodiversitetskrisen, og behovet for skalerbare, troværdige og handlingsorienterede løsninger er større end nogensinde. Treesy er skabt for at fjerne barriererne for klimahandling. Vi tilbyder en enkel abonnementsbaseret model, hvor kunder planter træer som en konkret måde at reducere og balancere deres klimaaftryk. Vores tilgang er baseret på konservative beregninger, radikal transparens og lokal forankring. Alle træer plantes i samarbejde med lokale partnere i Tanzania og bliver: • individuelt geo-tagget • monitoreret mindst fire gange årligt • passet og genplantet i op til tre år efter plantning Vi planter et diversificeret mix af træer med fokus på både klima, biodiversitet og lokal økonomi. Det betyder, at vores indsats ikke kun handler om CO₂, men også om at styrke økosystemer, skabe lokal indkomst og opbygge mere robuste lokalsamfund gennem agroforestry og frugttræer. We aim to bring a brand to life that makes people excited to cycle through winter because of the design and functionality it offers the cyclist. Our three product strategy takes the car seat heating concept and expands it into a visionary perspective of bicycles as a year-round transportation mode. Abrigo in Spanish means jacket - and the latin origin word, connotes shelter. We want to make cycles a a form of shelter so that we are able to bridge the transportation gap whereby summertime cycling far outweighs wintertime cycling. We are starting with heated seatwear, and are going to expand into handles and pedals, in due course.

Our solutions have created tens of thousands of jobs in developing countries, hundreds of millions of dollars for business, improved brand value and better living and working conditions for countless people in vulnerable communities around the world.

We are HEMBOO: an early stage start-up with the vision of making low emissions, renewable materials the norm in construction. Besides fossil fuels, the production of concrete is the worst emitter of CO2 in the world. However it is the most used material within the construction sector. But not for long: climate legislation is about to make concrete a whole lot more expensive, by introducing a CO2 TAX. This leaves the construction companies with a problem as there is no valid sustainable alternative they can use. HEMBOO offers an easy solution: prefabricated walls for new construction made of hemp and bamboo with a reduction of 80% CO2 emitted compared to the traditionally used concrete walls. BUT the construction industry is very conservative and risk-averse. Therefore getting to market is a long journey. We built our first prototype are now preparing for the second one and are gathering data on the needs of our customers. Our aim is to provide a solution similar enough in prefabrication and installation methods, to make the transition from concrete fast and easy. Our element is designed for large scaled production so that we can have the largest impact. Recently we have received a total of 520.000 dkk in soft funding for product development and are participating in multiple startup support programs so it is full speed ahead! The team behind it all: We are a diverse team of three, Elsa Maria Iuliano, Helena Brandt Rejndrup and Michael Hallam. Helena and Elsa graduated as architectural engineers from DTU while Michael is finishing up his studies in design and entrepreneurship. We started HEMBOO because we are all very passionate about making an environmental impact. As a team we have a lot fun together, while still being productive. We emphasize a friendly environment where we help each other even though everyone has individual responsibilities. Currently looking to expand and we want you to be a part of it! Care 2 People is a non-profit NGO that provides self-help assistance, both in Denmark and around the world, our main focus areas are to fight desertification and improve the world's climate change. Care2People works with all aspects of the humanitarian field and likes to work as an umbrella organization. We do advise and conduct not only anti-radicalization courses but also competency related job adaptation, motivate and carry out repatriation tasks, including preparation and participation in clarification processes, planning integration in the home country, including business plan/return home and family plan, etc. Care2People is happy to hold courses and help launch new businesses.
