The uMover® is a smart and usability-focused 3-wheel electrical vehicle for transporting people over shorter indoor and outdoor distances (0,5-5 km). It has been developed by us, DTU spinout CJ Company IVS, whom have built the uMover® upon a future mobility concept proposed by Continental AG (CAG). The uMover® targets employees who need to travel frequently within shorter distances, enabling them to become more efficient at work by easing their way of travel and reducing their travel time substantially. The uMover® will be a superior work-environment travel solution, as it – due to its smart design – offers the flexible advantages of walking, but with the similar speed and ease as driving a car or a bike. Drawbacks of the solutions in the market today are high prices, space requirements (especially for cars), no compliance with traffic regulations and laws and poor safety control (limiting the indoor application possibilities). Through cooperation with DTU and CAG we have been able to complete a full proof-of-concept and develop several of the unique mechanical components and are now in the detailing phase of the mechanical and electrical construction for a scale-up of the uMover®.

We’re a biotechnology company creating something new, valuable and useful from what otherwise would be trash. In a circular business model we upcycle food waste into alternative biodegradable materials as a supplier internationally and in DK. In this way we solve a waste management problem. Our unique storytelling and sensuous tactility in Apple Leather really makes an impact with users.  Work for us is also play and we really enjoy ourselves when we’re together making things happen. There’s always an idea you can follow through and test on.  We all have very different competencies but contribute equally in unique ways to the team research. Weekly workshops with Skylab Ignite and Stardust at DTU are where we grow together. We’re also making brainstorming jam sessions after work.
