Provargo A/S er markedsførende indenfor drikkevarekontrol. Vi udvikler, producerer og leverer online baserede doserings og kontrolsystemer til hospitality branchen, med et væld af kunder i både Danmark og resten af verden. Vi gennemgår i øjeblikket en spændende fase i vores udvikling som virksomhed, med et større fokus rettet mod bar,-, hotel-, og restaurationskæder. Samtidig arbejder vi også tæt sammen med distributører på markedet. I bar og restaurationsbranchen er det almindeligt at se relativt høje spildprocenter på drikkevarer. Det resulterer i to problemstillinger: 1) Et stort tab af omsætning. 2) Manglende overblik over reel lagerbeholdning af eksempelvis fustager, flasker, post-mix beholdere, osv. Derfor har vi udviklet systemer der synliggør på et online dashboard, nøjagtigt hvad der tappes af såvel spiritus, som øl, vin og sodavand. Alle tappedata registreres med tidsstempler og er i stand til at give brugeren et overblik over forbrugsmønstre, lagerniveauer, spidsbelastninger af personale, faktisk forbrug af drikkevarerne der tilbydes, m.v. Vores kerneprodukt er i stand til at integrere med cloud-baserede POS systemer, hvilket gør det muligt for udvalgte personer (eksempelvis ejere eller lokale driftschefer) at overvåge balanceforholdet imellem salg og faktiske udskænkninger. Herudover tilbyder vi også øvrige løsninger der sikrer at kvaliteten af drikkevarerne er i top, eksempelvis ved temperaturkontrol og køler overvågning. Da vi er en virksomhed der selv udvikler og producerer alle vore løsninger fra bunden, inklusiv vores cloud, har vi også stor fokus på løbende at optimere og forbedre alle elementer. Centrally located in Copenhagen, Flowering is developing bouquets with a reduced CO2 output to help environmentally conscious customers reduce waste and promote sustainability with beautifully crafted, eco-friendly floral arrangements. Flowering addresses the significant issue of flower waste in the floral industry. This problem affects both the environment and flower producers, contributing to unnecessary carbon footprints. The widespread waste impacts growers, retailers, and consumers who seek sustainable alternatives. Our team at Flowering sources surplus flowers that would otherwise be discarded and repurposes them into beautiful, high-quality bouquets in combination with local and certified flowers. By implementing efficient logistics and innovative design processes, we ensure these flowers reach customers fresh and vibrant, reducing waste and promoting sustainability without any intermediaries. The inspiration for Flowering came from witnessing the vast amounts of perfectly good flowers being discarded daily. Motivated by a passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive environmental impact, we left our jobs and studies to focus on creating a business that not only delivers beauty but also champions environmental responsibility.

Nabo Farm er et urbant landbrug drevet efter bæredygtige principper. Vi dyrker dild, koriander, fennikel, tallerkensmækker og andet mikrogrønt, som vi leverer til en kundekreds bestående af lokale restauranter og kantiner. Vores kunder er både kvalitets- og miljøbevidste. De kan se værdien i at modtage deres bestilling, senest to timer efter den er høstet. Hverken smag eller næringsværdi går tabt under leveringen, som selvfølgelig foregår med cykelbud. Sådan trækker vi i fællesskab fødevareindustrien i en sundere og mere bæredygtig retning. Det er det, vi forstår ved godt naboskab. Afgrøderne er naturligvis fri for sprøjtegift og genmodifikationer. Deres næringskilder er en nøje udvalgt sammensætning af ilt, mineraler, varme, vand og god musik. Tilsammen har vi mere end 15 år i tech-branchen på bagen. We`ve been organising Startup Weekends in Copenhagen for 4 years, educating and inspiring hundreds of people to become entrepreneurs. We were lucky to see it from the first row how #CPHSW helped people get into the entrepreneur mindset and to try new challenges. We always believed that one of strongest forces were the network of people you created during those crazy weekends. This is why we created Startup Weekend Mega: The biggest Startup Weekend ever organised in Europe.  We´re an awesome group of volunteers coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. All of us have their own stories about how we ended up joining the #CPHSW family.  We are proud that we`re 100% voluntarily run organisation and that we created a culture where everybody feels safe to experiment and make their own decisions. And we`re always there to support each other outside Startup Weekends.  We think being part of the organiser family is an excellent opportunity to try out craziest ideas in your field. In the European Union alone, more than 1.5 million paint buckets are discarded daily, constituting a disposal of 340 tons of single-use plastic that is incinerated each day. Starting from early 2023 (2025 in Denmark and Slovenia), manufacturers are obligated to cover the disposal costs of their packaging based on sustainability criteria. In Denmark, this translates to an estimated 15% fee on paint buckets. Furthermore, the conventional round shape of packaging has proven suboptimal for logistics and transportation. Beyond its environmental impact, the traditional paint bucket poses challenges for professional painters. These challenges encompass ergonomic issues during handling, such as the strain of lifting two buckets simultaneously, which exceeds recommended weight limits according to the Working Environment Authority. Painters also find themselves in awkward positions when pouring paint into a roller bucket for wall application. The demanding physical nature of the painting profession in Denmark results in accelerated fatigue and early retirement for painters. Additionally, issues like lid leakage due to dried paint and the use of fragile, porous plastic contribute to unexpected spills, particularly during abrupt vehicle stops. Our innovative solution involves a cardboard box housing two patent-pending plastic bags, each containing 5 liters of paint. This packaging not only enhances the workflow for professional painters but also reduces costs and lowers carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions by approximately 65% per unit. The box's design facilitates easy and ergonomic transportation, allowing for a 45% increase in units per pallet. The box is opened, and one of the bags is inserted into a standard roller bucket used by painters. The bag effortlessly opens and seamlessly fits into the roller bucket, wrapping around the edges, and enabling the painter to begin work promptly. This functionality is made possible through an innovative patented design and specific plastic welding techniques.

Kvasir is solving one of the most difficult problems in the world; how to replace fossil fuels in the heavy transportation industries. Kvasir has developed and patented a unique process to convert ligno-cellulosic plant biomass (straw, wood, bagasse etc. ) to marine fuel in a simple one step process. The process involves cooking biomass in an alcohol atmosphere under pressure, effectively liquefying the biomass. Were developing our technology in our in-house lab and workshop facilities in Soeborg and are also collaborating with universities in both Denmark and abroad.

For high end design lighting the size is a major issue, forcing designers to compromise the quality to reach desired designs. NPC cut the size to a fifth using patented technology. Products are on the market, a solid customer based and funnel has been build, and 10x growth is expected in 2022.
