Airplant ApS develops innovative and effective solutions to improve the air quality in office settings. Airplant increases the effect of nature's ability to purify and humidify air by combining plants and technology. 20-40 % of office workers experience dry indoor air. The feeling is triggered by dry air or chemicals which cause general discomfort. As you may know, plants reduce chemicals and humidify air. The Airplant system boosts the plant's natural way of working, and an airflow expands the treated area so that one single plant has the effect of 10 plants, corresponding to or better than comparable machines. Ventilation systems switch indoor air with fresh air. But fresh outdoor air is dry during the entire flu season so the Airplant system will humidify the fresh air and also reduce the amount of harmful chemicals. Sustainability is at the heart of our product, our production and everything we do in our company, guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We strive to make the world a better place to live: Airplant's mission is to support health at the office. The service is free of charge for the end user because they participate in our flexibility pool where the power companies can buy offsetting of the consumption if the grid is overloaded or production is expensive. Tre generationers forbrug af plastik har sat sine spor. Kun en lille del bliver genbrugt eller destrueret. Resten ligger i naturen i hundredvis af år. Vi arbejder for at reducere vores enorme plastikproduktion ved blandt andet at eliminere unødvendig engangsplastik fra vores produkter, ved at sætte bedre rammer for hvordan vi designer produkter til mere genbrug, og det plastik vi ikke kan genbruge, skal vi kunne genanvende. Vi arbejder både på politisk niveau, sammen med befolkningen, i samarbejde med innovationspartnere, på internationalt niveau, sammen med forskere og med at uddanne vores fremtidige generationer om problemet.
