Kvasir is solving one of the most difficult problems in the world; how to replace fossil fuels in the heavy transportation industries. Kvasir has developed and patented a unique process to convert ligno-cellulosic plant biomass (straw, wood, bagasse etc. ) to marine fuel in a simple one step process. The process involves cooking biomass in an alcohol atmosphere under pressure, effectively liquefying the biomass. Were developing our technology in our in-house lab and workshop facilities in Soeborg and are also collaborating with universities in both Denmark and abroad.

Provargo A/S er markedsførende indenfor drikkevarekontrol. Vi udvikler, producerer og leverer online baserede doserings og kontrolsystemer til hospitality branchen, med et væld af kunder i både Danmark og resten af verden. Vi gennemgår i øjeblikket en spændende fase i vores udvikling som virksomhed, med et større fokus rettet mod bar,-, hotel-, og restaurationskæder. Samtidig arbejder vi også tæt sammen med distributører på markedet. I bar og restaurationsbranchen er det almindeligt at se relativt høje spildprocenter på drikkevarer. Det resulterer i to problemstillinger: 1) Et stort tab af omsætning. 2) Manglende overblik over reel lagerbeholdning af eksempelvis fustager, flasker, post-mix beholdere, osv. Derfor har vi udviklet systemer der synliggør på et online dashboard, nøjagtigt hvad der tappes af såvel spiritus, som øl, vin og sodavand. Alle tappedata registreres med tidsstempler og er i stand til at give brugeren et overblik over forbrugsmønstre, lagerniveauer, spidsbelastninger af personale, faktisk forbrug af drikkevarerne der tilbydes, m.v. Vores kerneprodukt er i stand til at integrere med cloud-baserede POS systemer, hvilket gør det muligt for udvalgte personer (eksempelvis ejere eller lokale driftschefer) at overvåge balanceforholdet imellem salg og faktiske udskænkninger. EIT Climate-KIC (Knowledge and Innovation Community) is Europe’s foremost climate innovation initiative. We understand that keeping global temperature rise below 1.5˚C demands unprecedented change. It requires new social dynamics, ways of doing business, capital flows, policymaking, economic models, and new ways of living. That is why our mission is to leverage the power of systems innovation to transform whole places, industries, and value chains by 2030, working across sectors to develop and scale ambitious, mission-led programmes. Established in 2010 and headquartered in Amsterdam, we orchestrate a community of more than 200 organisations including large corporations and SMEs, municipal and regional governments, universities, and research institutes, as well as non-governmental organisations and uncommon actors. Historically, we have been funded by our founder and core funder, the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT), but we are currently transitioning to a multi-funder model. EIT Climate-KIC colleagues are based in one of our local offices across Europe or work remotely from home based in one of the countries where we have a branch. What is RE-ZIP RE-ZIP is a circular packaging concept offering circular packaging to more or less all players in the ecommerce industry. By circulating and hence reusing rather than using single-use packaging (even recycled) we save CO2 even the first time a packaging is reused. It works likes this RE-ZIP delivers the packaging to webshops who offer the sustainable packing solution to their customers at check-out for a minor fee (paid back via reward voucher upon returning the packaging). Upon receipt of the goods the customer folds the RE-ZIP packaging to a return format and return it at a Drop Point. The packaging is returned to the RE-ZIP warehouse for cleaning and re-circulation to the webshops. The RE-ZIP packaging can be circulated up to 10 times, but more importantly the packaging will begin saving CO2 Within the first or second use – depending on the type. RE-ZIP has developed a state-of-the-art backend system supporting the above process and are currently operating in Denmark, UK and Poland.
