Amalo

Our aim is to make the transition from fossil heating to sustainable heating as easy and profitable as possible for private homeowners. At Amalo, we understand that integrating renewable energy solutions is key to achieving this goal. That's why, in addition to our focus on sustainable heat pump solutions, we also offer high-quality solar panels. This addition enhances our commitment to a greener future and provides a more comprehensive approach to energy efficiency for our customers. Our way to achieve this goal is to provide a market-leading user experience from initial customer contact to when we install a sustainable heat pump solution in the customer's home. The integration of solar panels into our offerings aligns perfectly with this vision, ensuring that our customers have access to a wider range of sustainable energy options. What is unique about Amalo is that we provide a full online customer experience. We have emulated the traditional physical visit at the customer's address through an online configurator. This innovative approach not only means we can offer more economical heat pump solutions faster than any other provider but also allows us to efficiently incorporate solar panel solutions into our customer's energy plans. By doing so, we ensure that our customers receive a tailored, comprehensive approach to their energy needs, all from the comfort of their own home.

Lyras A/S

At Lyras, we develop and manufacture systems for the liquid food processing industry.We aim to replace traditional heat-based pasteurization and spore removal in the food processing industry by introducing our novel cold pasteurisation technology, which reduces the energy consumption related to traditional heat-pasteurization by more than 90%.Our goal is to provide a greener and more efficient technological change to a global industry, allowing for a truly sustainable production chain.

Aguardio ApS

Aguardio helps hotels save water and costs, while improving their sustainability.  In order to save water resources, our goal is to reduce the water consumption during showers. Our mission is simple – to reduce water consumption by supporting, improving and developing sustainable behaviour. Aguardio is located in Resilience House Vejle Nord, which is a triple helix lighthouse house, focusing on resilient solutions within energy, climate, water and data. GO SLOW ON THE H2O

CLIMAID

At CLIMAID we handle sensor data and user feedback from your indoor climate and turn them into profit, health and well-being for you with AI-based indoor climate logic. It is our ambition to understand, what a good indoor climate is to you, better than anybody else, compare and combine this with factual advice and deliver personalized recommendations! In short, we turn your indoor climate into a valuable asset! At CLIMAID we think holistically and user-oriented. Indoor climate is as subjective as it is volatile. It is key to our success to understand, how to meet individual perceptions and expectations and nudge the user towards better well-being. We are passionate what we do and pro-active in our ambition to be experts in our field and first-movers in offering our users intuitive solutions, that add value for both occupants and building owners. As a team and as individuals we are open towards collaboration and new ideas, and we design our solutions to be accessible - in the technical interfaces we design as well as in the ease of use of our products. And we strive to be trustworthy and authentic in our approach to customers, partners and to each other.

The Camp

The Camp is a startup community and home to around 30 startups and entrepreneurial companies created by Tryg and Rainmaking. Tryg has the ambition to be the most innovative insurance company in the Nordics which calls for a place characterised by openness, curiosity and experimentation. UBCO was founded on the idea of a Utility Electric Vehicle (UEV) that would transform the way people ride, work and play. Headquartered in New Zealand, UBCO is now global brand expanding across EMEA, US, and Australia. With sustainability at the heart of what we do, we are passionate about zero emission transport not only in cities, but also our parks, forests, and farms. We believe in creating products that enable people to do inspiring things, whether that’s exploring our planet, creating a better world, or working smarter.

RE-ZIP

What is RE-ZIP RE-ZIP is a circular packaging concept offering circular packaging to more or less all players in the ecommerce industry. By circulating and hence reusing rather than using single-use packaging (even recycled) we save CO2 even the first time a packaging is reused. It works likes this RE-ZIP delivers the packaging to webshops who offer the sustainable packing solution to their customers at check-out for a minor fee (paid back via reward voucher upon returning the packaging). Upon receipt of the goods the customer folds the RE-ZIP packaging to a return format and return it at a Drop Point. The packaging is returned to the RE-ZIP warehouse for cleaning and re-circulation to the webshops. The RE-ZIP packaging can be circulated up to 10 times, but more importantly the packaging will begin saving CO2 Within the first or second use – depending on the type. RE-ZIP has developed a state-of-the-art backend system supporting the above process and are currently operating in Denmark, UK and Poland. Hence working at RE-ZIP will offer you in-person colleagues in Denmark and remote colleagues in before mentioned countries and more to come. Fischer Lighting

Fischer Lighting is a sustainable front-runner who has developed a unique circular business model where waste is transformed into new beautiful lamps that make buildings more sustainable and people healthier. In 2023, Fischer Lighting saved more than 53 tons of discarded lamps from being thrown away, and with the concepts ReUse, ReDesign, and ReCreate, unique lighting solutions are created in a beautiful and industrial design that meets all the requirements of a new lighting fixture. In addition to environmental sustainability, social sustainability is also an important part of the concept. Therefore, all the old lamps are separated and assembled by people on the edge of the labor market in Denmark. At the same time, the lamps are equipped with the latest technology, which, among other things, enables circadian lighting, which can stimulate the production of hormones in our body and create better well-being for people in buildings.

CELLUGY

At Cellugy, we’re passionate about creating innovative solutions for one of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century: plastic pollution. Our product, EcoFLEXY, is a 100% natural bio-cellulose material produced by the fermentation of surplus sugar with specific microorganisms. The objective is to replace fosil-based plastics and products in a wide range of applications, from packaging to chemicals.

Humanitrack

Humanitrack is creating volunteering driven science and tech knowledge hubs tackling global challenges and empowering the global STEM community. We are tracking impactful technologies in our hubs while aligning, guiding, and inspiring the students and researchers driving them via our volunteering platform. This is to accelerate tech solutions to global challenges and lead humanity to a healthy, sustainable future. Easysort

We are building large-scale robots with computer vision to sort all waste in extremely high purity. You can read more about our mission, a detailed description of the current situation, and our plan for how Easysort works on our website: https://easysort.org/. You are right for the team if you are passionate about building robots and/or their AI controls. Our main focus is keeping the team small. Easysort is not profitable yet. We expect to be able to pay you before the end of 2025, but all positions are unpaid and current equity-based. We expect everyone to be on-site all the time when working with Easysort.

Drivn, is dedicated to revolutionizing how companies track and manage their carbon emissions related to employee transportation. Drivn offers an innovative solution that automatically tracks and analyzes employee commuting data in real-time, providing companies with valuable insights into their carbon footprint. By leveraging advanced technology and data science, and machine learning we empower businesses to make informed decisions and implement sustainable transportation strategies. Our mission is to help businesses reduce their carbon emissions, improve sustainability, and contribute to a greener future. NitroVolt

NitroVolt is decarbonizing nitrogen-based fertilizer production and making the agricultural sector more resilient with a novel production process. Commercial ammonia production supports 40-50% of the agricultural industry as a nitrogen-based fertilizer. But current ammonia production is not sustainable, releasing over 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions during production facilities and further emissions during transportation to the end user, farmers. NitroVolt offers a local ammonia production solution that gives farmers the ability to produce their own nitrogen-based fertilizer. The only inputs required by NitroVolt’s container-sized systems are air, water, and electricity, enabling production of sustainable ammonia directly at farms. NitroVolt’s patented electrochemical Nitrolyzer unit can make ammonia on-demand with intermittent renewable energy sources. With their technology, NitroVolt aims to decarbonize nitrogen-based fertilizer production one farm at a time, cut the logistic costs of distributing fertilizer, and make the agricultural sector more resilient to external factors.

True Energy A/S

Many people are talking about the smart grid and how we can reach 100% sustainable energy, and avoid global warming getting out of hand, by intelligently balancing the consumption so it fits with the electricity production. At True Energy we're already doing it! True Energy offers a smart charging app to our end users so they can register their car or charger and have it start or stop charging based on the hour of day and the electricity price, so the user optimizes their charging to be cheapest. The service is free of charge for the end user because they participate in our flexibility pool where the power companies can buy offsetting of the consumption if the grid is overloaded or production is expensive. We use Google Workspace, GitLab as code repo, Jira for our agile project management, and Slack for chat. We have a policy of 100% line coverage for unit tests, and want to support continuous delivery. We focus on collaboration and an open, inclusive work environment. Our team is multinational, and the working language is English, so full proficiency is required.. We have team members in several time zones.
