Koordinat is a Copenhagen-based start-up building computer vision products for protecting biodiversity and nature. The EU targets of 30% protected nature relies on heavy administrative work related to monitoring and ensuring the nature in fact is protected. We are devoted to building precise AI-systems than can automate and assist with the monitoring of reserved nature. ESEBA, a deep tech startup from DTU, transforms low-quality textile waste into MDF boards without binders or formaldehyde. We offer a sustainable, non-toxic alternative to traditional wood-based panels. Textile waste is a massive and growing problem in Europe – less than 1% is recycled into new products, and most ends up incinerated. Our three product strategy takes the car seat heating concept and expands it into a visionary perspective of bicycles as a year-round transportation mode. Abrigo in Spanish means jacket - and the latin origin word, connotes shelter. We want to make cycles a a form of shelter so that we are able to bridge the transportation gap whereby summertime cycling far outweighs wintertime cycling. We are starting with heated seatwear, and are going to expand into handles and pedals, in due course.
