Prezio is Europe's electricity price API, giving energy apps one integration for the true cost of electricity at any address, down to the quarter hour. Instead of stitching together market prices, grid fees, taxes and levies from thousands of retailers and grid operators, developers plug into one standardized schema and get accurate, real-time tariffs across Europe. Most electricity price data stops at the wholesale market rate, which is often only about a third of what actually ends up on the bill. Prezio adds the rest: retailer charges, grid transport and capacity fees, taxes and local levies, all kept current with daily updates. That means EV charging platforms, smart home and HVAC systems, solar and battery software, and energy management systems can schedule, bill and optimize on the real price a household or business actually pays, not a rough estimate.
