Turning global cropland into a permanent carbon sink.
We are bringing Greenlandic Glacial Rock Flour (GRF) to the world to drive a shift towards sustainable, productive, and carbon-negative agriculture.
GRF is a naturally occurring, ultra-fine mineral powder formed by glacial erosion in Greenland and available in billion-tonne quantities. When applied to croplands in warmer climates, it enhances soil health and permanently captures atmospheric CO2 through enhanced rock weathering, effectively transforming farmland into a long-term carbon sink.
But the really exciting part is what this enables for farmers:
- GRF reduces reliance on synthetic fertilizers - you can apply less than before.
- This directly reduces nitrogen leaching into the aquatic environment, as well as volatilization
- A single dose acts as a slow-release fertilizer, with multi-year effects that increase the value of your soil rather than decrease it.
- Farmers can opt in to monetize the carbon credits, offering an alternative revenue stream.
Field trials across Denmark and Europe confirm the potential: GRF enables sustainable intensification and carbon capture at scale. Farming that supports both productivity and climate goals.
This is not only good for the climate. It's also enabling a pathway for farmers to meet the demands of the future food system, with less risk.
