Foundry IX is a Copenhagen-based software and AI company that builds operational AI: AI agents that take over concrete, recurring tasks in an organisation's daily work, such as reporting, reconciliation and data handling.
The problem: most companies have tried AI, but few have it running in daily operations. Pilots stall because nobody owns them, and generic tools do not fit the systems and routines a business actually runs on.
Our approach: every project starts with the work a team does every day, to decide which tasks an agent can take over and which still need a person. We build from reusable patterns we call "støbeforme" (moulds), adapt them to each client, and keep the solutions running and improving after delivery.
Our product, Alloy, is an AI assistant that connects to the systems a business already uses, including ERP, accounting, Microsoft 365, databases and advertising platforms. Alloy runs scheduled tasks and answers questions about business data, with role-based access and a full audit log. We do not sell customer data or train models on it.
Foundry IX was founded in September 2025 by Andreas Markussen, Jon Hu Hindsgaul Hansen and Lucas Val Eggers. We work the Scandinavian way, in design and in collaboration: simple, functional solutions, clear ownership and long-term partnerships. We have worked with more than 15 organisations across nine industries in Denmark, Sweden, Hungary and Thailand, including DRIVR, Novafos, 24Slides and Labour Leasing.
