DSlexiAI is a Danish EdTech startup developing a desktop learning platform designed to help students get more value from teaching while spending less time manually taking notes.
During lessons, the teacher’s speech can be transcribed in real time and made available to students who have access to the relevant class or subject. Students can follow the live transcription in a small desktop window and use selected sentences directly in their notes in tools such as OneNote and Word.
The problem we are addressing is that many students spend a large part of lessons trying to keep up with note-taking instead of focusing on understanding what is being taught. This can be especially challenging for students who read or write more slowly, but the issue affects a much broader group of students as well.
Our goal is to make teaching more accessible and help students focus more on listening, understanding and participating. Rather than replacing the student’s own notes, DSlexiAI is designed to support the note-taking process and create a structured digital record of teaching that students can return to afterwards.
The product has already been tested in educational settings, including at Herningsholm and Aarhus University, and has been trialled across several classes and one study programme. We are now working on bringing the platform to more schools and educational institutions in Denmark.
