DPPA is a Norwegian platform for digital product passports under the EU's product rules: the Ecodesign Regulation (ESPR), the Battery Regulation and the Construction Products Regulation. It runs in the background: it connects to the systems and data you already have, and your team approves what gets published. Manufacturers, retailers and importers create and publish passports at model, batch and item level, each with its QR code, and the product list stays exportable.
Ready-made product types: battery, construction products, fragrance, mattress, steel, textile and toy.
Live today: Excel import, QR codes, public passports in every EEA language, regulatory guidance and bulk creation of batch passports. Early access: REST API, AI assistants through MCP, and QR codes on your own domain.
DPPA is hosted in Microsoft Azure's European data centers, so product data stays inside the EEA, and it is built to the eight published European passport standards, standard by standard. Both founders sit on Standard Norge's committee for digital product passports (SN/K 624) and take part through it in CEN/CENELEC JTC 24 and ISO/IEC JTC 5.
