Behind Handlebars is a photography project, world-wide community of cyclist, and brand that sells decorative and unique posters founded in 2015 in Copenhagen. Established around the Danish culture of cycling, and the passion for exploring by bike, Behind Handlebars is being followed by +45.000 people from 163 different countries on Instagram, who actively participates in social rides and share their own lives behind handlebars on the hashtag #behindhandlebars.
Currently, Behind Handlebars is just one person, sitting at Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship when I'm not out exploring by bike. To this day biking still plays a prevalent role in the Behind Handlebars universe with an active social media presence on Instagram and social rides in real life that connects locals, tourists and expats.
Behind Handlebars is all about good synergies between people, and therefore is the work style and relationships often positive and informal. Thinking outside of the box and throwing out crazy ideas is recommended!
