Søuld

ABOUT — Founded in 2010, Søuld’s mission is to produce functional, sustainable and beautiful alternatives to traditional building materials that can improve sustainable development in the construction industry, whilst also improving human health and well-being. For over a decade Søuld has collaborated with ecologists, manufacturers and designers to develop acoustics from eelgrass—an abundant, renewable local sea plant with deep roots in Danish culture—to offer the industry a high performing alternative to synthetic options. Søuld’s work has led to the revitalization of the 400-year-old eelgrass tradition, to the protection of the eelgrass ecosystem and to the material’s optimization for sustainable 21st Century building. Engineered for residential and commercial spaces, Søuld’s eelgrass products create calm and comfortable indoor atmospheres that connect with nature through organic, tactile surfaces and the subtle scent of the sea. Søuld’s products offer excellent acoustic, thermal and moisture regulating properties, are highly resistant to fire, contain no toxic chemicals, release extremely low emissions and reduce carbon footprint by serving as CO₂ storage. Søuld is founded by architects and sustainable design engineers with a passion for quality, beauty and sustainability. The Søuld team constantly strives to push the limits of eelgrass processing, to enhance product quality and devise healthy and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of the industry and end-users.

Carrot

We believe the key to solving the world's two billion waste problem is to motivate people and companies to reduce waste and benefit from the circular economy. We do this by integrating data from all types of digital hardware to understand where waste comes from, and we use this data to reward sustainable behaviour. Our company was born in the waste industry and designed to change it. During the past year, we've launched a new brand, started building an insane team, won the Proptech Award 2021, and gone from 1 to 10 customers. All regulatory winds blow our way and we're ready to conquer the world.

Skypass

Skypass aims to make returns in e-commerce more economically and environmentally sustainable through smart, data-driven decisions. In order to do this, we need to create an end-to-end digital platform that facilitates the shipment and customs process for online retailers. Today, we have created an MVP that reads and systematizes customs data on behalf of retailers, allowing them to save money on returned goods from Norway. In the time ahead we wish to grow our company and work towards the broader goal of revolutionizing e-commerce returns.

Settle Group

Settle Group (formerly Auka) is a Norwegian fintech company enabling banks to launch their own mobile payments service to fight the competition from third-party providers, startups and other banks. In 2016 we were awarded the fastest-growing fintech company in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) by Deloitte. Settle Group has built a white-label financial services platform featuring real-time payments, complex clearing and settlements, card processing and more. Auka is the first regulated financial services company to run fully in the cloud. We first launched our technology to the Norwegian market in 2014 under the brand mCASH. In 2015 we sold the mCASH-operation to SpareBank 1 focusing on global sales of our white-label financial services platform. Exam.net

Exam.net is an online exam platform that provides the teachers at schools and universities with an intuitive and efficient way to plan and conduct the exams tailored to each individual student's needs. So students can spend the time demonstrating their knowledge and teachers can spend time doing what they do best - teaching. Exam.net was founded by teachers and more than half of the employees are current or former teachers. Helping teachers do what they do best is in our DNA. The teachers can create new exams directly in the platform which can be corrected automatically, or upload the existing ones as PDF files. Students don’t need to create an account to conduct exams and the results can be easily shared through downloads, print outs or export to Google Drive, OneDrive and other platforms. Exam.net is also integrated with Google Classroom. Exam.net has a rich set of built-in tools across math, science and language. We also offer multiple levels of security to meet the needs of different exam types. It is the most used platform for digital examinations in Swedish schools and is used for the country’s National Examinations. The team working on Exam.net has been delivering products that teachers and students trust for more than six years. Newday Coffee is a new danish coffee startup that focus on creating the perfect cup of coffee with quality, convenience and sustainability as our core focus. Our main product is single-serve coffeebags, that insures a much longer lifespan on the coffee, due to our speciel nitrogen packaging. Coffeebags gives you the same taste and quality you would find when brewing frenchpress or filtercoffee. The difference lies in the convenience and expiry date of the coffee. Coffebags makes it much easier to brew a quality cup of coffee, and when you only brew one cup at a time, you don't need to open an entire 'ordinary' coffeebag, which loses it's taste after a few weeks. We started Newday Coffee to provide a product we ourself needed and wanted. Our need was that we always wanted to ensure that we had a fantastic cup of coffee close.
