Excitus is set up to develop, manufacture and sell medical suction products based on its revolutionary, patent-pending mobile suction platform. Ecomerden is a complete producer of semi-closed cage systems for Aquaculture founded in 2012. With over 25 years of experience in delivering technology in the aquaculture industry, we started developing Ecomerden, a European patented semi-closed system for the lice-free production of fish. By 2015 the first cage was installed in Solund. Sogn & Fjordane. Here we have produced lice-free post-smolt of Atlantic salmon (90 grams-1kg) for 2 years with groundbreaking results. Using Ecomerden as a combination in the production line of the fish not only prevents lice pressure but also makes a more robust smolt ready for the open cages. With the results so far showing that the technology and biology are working, the company is now ready for commercialization.

It is a company of 35 full-time employees and 200+ sellers working from the three largest cities in Kenya - Mombasa, Kisumu and Nairobi. The production headquarters are in Nairobi, Kenya, where the production of frozen flavored milk and frozen yogurt products takes place. The company operates a distribution model where it engages youth to become sellers of its products in the market. The sellers are offered an attractive commission-based salary with performance incentives as they retail the products in the major cities in East Africa.
