SparkUp is a startup community where Turku Science Park Ltd, student based entrepreneurship society Boost Turku and Creative Venture Creve have brought together their know-how and services for startups and entrepreneur-minded persons in Turku region. SparkUp is facilitated by Turku Science Park Ltd.

We develop a remote operation platform to get people in loop to remotely help automated vehicles and vehicle fleets. Remote operation enables commercial scale vehicle autonomy in urban and other complex environments. This way we achieve the full potential of the current technology.

SolarSack has developed an affordable and non-chemical household water purification solution. SolarSack can purify 4L of water in 4 hours using only sunlight. It is reusable 500 times, providing 2,000L of purified water for only $4 - enough for a family of four for an entire year.

BOXHUB is disrupting the sale of used shipping containers - A global billion-dollar industry. We will make it simple, efficient and transparent for everyone to buy and sell shipping containers By doing this we enable the re-use and upcycling of the 25 million shipping containers currently in circulation around the world. Our customers turn shipping containers into anything from Affordable housing, pop-up restaurants, emergency shelters and a number of sustainable storage solutions.

Autoholly is out to fix the $Bn auto transport industry in Europe. From our base in Copenhagen, we help car buyers and car sellers to move their cars safely from A-B. The auto transport industry in Europe lacks transparency, and transports are often seen (half-) empty and burning a lot of unnecessary CO2. As a venture studio, we don’t just invest—we build. Since launching in April 2024, we have: • Partnered with Hurricane Innovation, A groundbreaking wave energy startup that aims to be cheaper than offshore wind. • Joined Biopharmia, a next-gen microalgae producer leveraging CO₂ from biogas for sustainable food and feed ingredients. • Launched Småkraftmegleren, a service unlocking liquidity in the small-scale hydropower market. Introduction to Ning (CEO): Ning is an experienced entrepreneur and executive with a strong track record, having worked in the roles of business owner and managing director across various settings from startups to large blue-chip companies, e.g. Novozymes and Coloplast. As a second-time startup co-founder, Ning brings valuable experience in scaling businesses, expanding internationally, and managing corporate mergers and acquisitions. Ning obtained his education in both Asia and the Nordics, and he enjoys spending time with his family on various sports and board games in spare time. Introduction to Christopher (CCO): Prior to co-founding LikeMinded, Christopher spent more than two years working in investment banking at Citi in London, where he worked with Private Equity, Growth Equity and Venture Capital clients, and got extensive exposure to M&A transactions totalling more than €5bn across various sectors. Prior to this he worked as a VC analyst for the largest Danish VC fund, and was part of the sales team at Saxo Bank. Christopher has a BSc in International Business from CBS, and also studied at Columbia Business School. Currently he is taking a pilot license, and enjoys surfing, playing and watching football, and likes to travel with his girlfriend. Introduction to Lars (CTO): Lars is a 2nd time founder with >15 years of experience as CTO, and successfully exited from his previous venture. He has a very strong track record as a hands-on full-stack developer, with has a proven ability to build excellent teams.

Even Founders is a nonprofit organization operating throughout the Nordic region, to create new women founders and increase funding opportunities for them. We work with founders, investors and ecosystem partners to tackle one of the biggest gaps in the startup space. Our organization provides two primary services: the Startup School and our comprehensive database. The Startup School offers a cost-free educational program designed specifically for women, teaching them the essentials of founding a company. Meanwhile, our extensive database serves as the premier source of information on women-founded companies, helping investors in discovering new investment opportunities. We are founders, investors, operators, innovators and researchers with first-hand experience from both sides of the table.
