Sales Manager, DACH (m/f/x)

Salary Competitive

If you want to build our sales team in Germany from the first hires, sell to the biggest hospitality brands in the region, and own the number for the whole market, come join us!

Germany is our fastest-growing market. Our German revenue has grown 12x since the start of the year. We signed L'Osteria, one of Germany's biggest restaurant brands with 200+ restaurants, and our German ads convert as well as our UK ones. The product is fully localised, and the systems German operators run on, like E2N and Gastromatic, are already integrated.

You won't start from a blank page. We know who buys, why they buy and how they decide. We built the playbook in the UK, adapted it for Germany, and it works in both. It also lives in our systems rather than in a slide deck, because we invested in RevOps and sales tooling far earlier than most companies our size do.

What we need now is the person who scales it. Someone who owns the DACH number, hires and coaches the team, and still closes the big logos personally.

🥞 The mission
All Gravy is the frontline operating system. One platform for comms, learning, engagement, operations and scheduling, with built-in AI. Think WhatsApp meets Duolingo meets Claude for frontline workers. Used daily by 350+ brands like GAIL's, L'Osteria, Dishoom, 7-Eleven and Honest Burgers.

We're growing 3x year-over-year, Germany is growing faster still, and DACH is where we're betting hardest next.

🎯 The role

You own DACH revenue. New business first, plus growing the accounts you land. You lead our DACH commercial team of AEs and BDRs, and you decide how we sell in the region: which segments, which brands, which partners, and what the German playbook looks like.

This is a player-coach role. In year one you carry your own enterprise and mid-market deals while you build the team around you.

⚙️ What you get from day one
  • A playbook the system runs. Our qualification criteria, pricing rules, deal stages and handoffs live in our own GTM Suite: deal rooms with quoting and mutual action plans, onboarding gates and customer health scoring. When we change the process, we ship an update. Nobody waits for a training session.

  • Reps who sell from week one. Every morning each rep gets a dial deck of researched, enriched accounts with call cards ready, and call outcomes flow back into HubSpot on their own.

  • Every call captured. Attention records and scores every sales call, so you coach from what was said, not from what the rep remembers.

  • One source of truth. HubSpot on a Snowflake data layer, with live pipeline, forecasting and rep scorecards. You won't spend your first quarter building reports.

  • AI SDRs on inbound. Agents handle speed-to-lead and first-touch research, so your team spends its time in conversations.

🔥 What you'll do
  • Own the DACH number. Forecast it, hit it, explain it. Every week.

  • Build the team. Hire, onboard and coach AEs and BDRs for DACH. Set the bar and hold it.

  • Close the big ones yourself. Restaurant groups, hotel chains and retail brands with 50 to 500+ locations. You know how a German buying committee actually decides, from the Head of Operations to the CFO to the Betriebsrat.

  • Sharpen the German playbook. ICP, messaging, objection handling, pricing guardrails and partner motion are in place. You make them fit DACH better every quarter and push what you learn back into the system, so every rep sells the way your best one does. What works in London doesn't always work in Munich, and you know the difference.

  • Run a tight process. MEDDPICC, clean pipeline, economic buyer in the room by meeting two. The tooling makes it easy. You make it the standard.

  • Build the network. Internorga, Intergastra, DEHOGA, operator communities, and the integration partners German operators already trust.

  • Help choose our German base. We haven't settled where our German office will be. You'll have a big say in the city, and you'll build the team there.

  • Feed the product. You bring back what DACH customers need and help shape the roadmap for the market.

🧠 Who you are
  • You've built a sales team in DACH. 7+ years in B2B SaaS sales, 2+ years leading people. Ideally you were an early commercial hire in Germany for a scale-up.

  • You still love to sell. You'd rather be on the call than read the CRM note afterwards.

  • You know the buyer. Hospitality, retail or HR tech in DACH. Big plus if you've sold to operators, not IT.

  • You run on numbers. By week three you can tell from the pipeline whether the quarter lands.

  • You're AI-first. You use Claude or similar every day for research, deal prep, analysis and building. You'd rather automate a process than hire for it, and you know how much a well-instrumented pipeline is worth.

  • You hire well. You've built a team before and can show us what those people went on to do.

  • Native German, excellent English.

🚩 Probably not for you if
  • You want a big team and budget on day one. You'll build both.

  • You stopped selling yourself a few years ago.

  • You want to build sales ops from scratch. Ours is already running. Your job is to sell and scale on top of it.

  • You work the same way you did three years ago.

📈 Where this goes

3 months: You know the pipeline, the customers and the product inside out. Your first hires have signed and are ramping on the playbook in weeks, not quarters. You're closing.

6 months: Your DACH version of the playbook is live and the team runs on it. Your forecast lands within 10%.

Beyond: As we grow into Austria, Switzerland and beyond, you build out the DACH organisation, and the role grows with it.

💎 Why All Gravy
  • Grow fast, for real. We promote from within, move quickly, and give you real responsibility from day one.

  • A culture that actually develops you. Honest feedback, active coaching, and the autonomy to experiment.

  • Work that matters. Your work directly affects the daily lives of millions of frontline workers.

  • People who've done it before. Ex-founders and operators who've built, scaled and won, and want to do it again, bigger.

  • The good stuff too. Prime office location, team lunches, Friday bars, padel tournaments, wine tastings, offsites, top-tier equipment, and a fridge that's always stocked. Competitive salary and warrant package.

📍 Practical
  • Remote in Germany to start, with regular travel to our Copenhagen and London offices and across DACH. You'll move into our German office once it's set up.

  • Full-time.

  • You report to Joachim, our CRO, and work closely with sales, customer success, marketing and our founders.

Working at
All Gravy

All Gravy: All the people stuff in one employee app - built for hospitality Hospitality is one of the largest employment sectors in Europe. It's also one of the most chaotic to operate. The average multi-site restaurant group or hotel brand manages hundreds of hourly workers across dozens of locations - none of whom sit at a desk, have a work email, or receive information through the same channel twice. The result is predictable. New starters show up on day one not knowing what to do. Training happens inconsistently, or not at all. Managers spend half their day answering the same questions on repeat. Communication happens in WhatsApp groups that the business doesn't own, can't audit, and can't control. Staff churn - already the highest of any industry, averaging 75% annually - gets worse. And operators have no way of knowing why. The tools that exist to solve this were built for office workers. They assume laptops, corporate email, and people who sit still. Hospitality doesn't work like that. All Gravy is the fix. We're a communications and learning app built specifically for multi-site hospitality operators - restaurant groups, hotel brands, contract caterers, quick-service chains. Our customers typically manage between 200 and 1,000 staff across multiple locations in the UK, Scandinavia, and Germany. The product gives operators one place to run everything people-related: Staff communications - a branded, structured feed that works like social media. Managers post to the right people by location, role, or team. Employees are notified. Everything is documented. No more WhatsApp chaos. Onboarding journeys - automated, role-specific sequences that start the moment a new hire is added to the system. They arrive on day one prepared, connected to the brand, and knowing what's expected of them. Training and learning - a full LMS designed for deskless workers, supporting both digital courses and in-person sessions, with attendance tracking, completion records, and automated reminders built in. Digital handbooks - a living, searchable library that employees access from their phone. Update once, everyone sees it instantly. No more outdated PDFs or laminated binders no one reads. AI assistant - trained on the operator's own content, not the internet. Employees get instant, accurate answers to questions about policies, procedures, and their role. Managers stop answering the same things over and over. The employee experience looks and feels like a social media app - because that's what people actually use. Adoption is high because the product meets people where they already are. The admin side is a web dashboard where operators build and manage everything centrally, with full visibility into engagement, training completion, onboarding progress, and team sentiment across every location. The problem is big. There are roughly 90 million deskless workers in Europe. Hospitality alone employs millions, with vacancy and churn rates that cost the sector billions in lost revenue every year. The tools available to operators haven't kept up with what the problem actually requires. The opportunity is clear. Operators who invest in their people's experience - making them feel informed, connected, and supported from day one - see measurably lower turnover, better training compliance, and lower management overhead. All Gravy makes that investment easy, scalable, and consistent across every location in a business. We've raised €5.8M+ to date, backed by Moonfire Ventures, Scale Capital, and a syndicate of angels including senior operators and investors from Google, Deliveroo, and Peakon. Our customers include some of the largest hospitality operators in Northern Europe. We're building the operating layer for the front-line hospitality workforce - the infrastructure that makes it possible to run a great team at scale, not just at one site, but across all of them.
