About CURRENT

CURRENT is a Norwegian software company building a cloud-based platform for managing EV charging at scale.

We're looking for an experienced frontend developer who wants to help shape our products, influence technical decisions, and create great user experiences.

You don't need experience with EV charging. We're looking for someone passionate about building great software.

What your role will look like

• Develop and maintain Angular applications with plenty of freedom and responsibility.

• Work closely with the development and product teams to build and improve our platform.

• Contribute to UI/UX design, create intuitive interfaces, and help evolve our design system.

• Take part in technical decisions, write clean, maintainable code, and contribute to automated testing.

• Collaborate with your teammates through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and solving problems together.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, preferably with Angular.

• Good experience with TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and responsive web development.

• A solid understanding of frontend architecture, reusable components, REST APIs, and clean code.

• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and modern development practices.

• An interest in UI/UX and building intuitive, user-friendly applications.

• A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset. You enjoy sharing knowledge, helping others, and taking ownership of your work.

• Good communication skills in English.

Nice to have

Experience with technologies like Nx, Ionic, Capacitor, RxJS, Angular Material, or WebSockets is a plus. We're also happy if you've worked with design systems, performance optimization, or modern Angular features like Signals.

You don't need to tick every box. We value solid fundamentals, a willingness to learn, and a practical approach to solving problems.
