We’re looking for a Product Engineer with a fullstack profile who wants to help us build the next generation of Mevisio and our platform.

You’re comfortable working across the stack and have enough experience to take ownership of what you build – from understanding the problem to getting a solution into production. And AI of course, is already part of how you work. You use it to explore ideas, write and review code, debug, test, learn and move faster. Not because someone told you to, but because you genuinely like how it makes you and us faster and smarter!

This is Mevisio

Mevisio is a Swedish SaaS company building a platform that digitizes management and collaboration in the manufacturing industry.

Our platform replaces the physical whiteboards traditionally used for daily meetings on the shop floor. Teams use Mevisio to visualize KPIs, manage activities, follow up deviations and bring real-time information together in one place. The platform is highly customizable and integrates with other systems, which makes the technical challenges both interesting and varied. Today, Mevisio is used by large manufacturing companies across the world.

What will you do?

You’ll work across our product – from frontend experiences to backend services, APIs, data and integrations. You’ll build new features, improve what already exists and solve technical problems that come from running a flexible platform used by manufacturing companies around the world.

Because we’re a small team, you’ll be involved throughout the process. You might discuss a customer problem in the morning, figure out a solution together with the team and start building it the same day.

AI is a natural part of our work. We want you to experiment with how modern AI tools can help to continuously improve the development process , work faster and better – while still taking responsibility for the quality, security and maintainability of what we ship. We want someone who is passionate about building a software factory, automated operations, and an AI-assisted product work!

What does a day look like?

We always start the day with freshly brewed coffee and some chat about what’s going on. After that, you might work on a new product feature, investigate a problem reported by a customer or discuss an upcoming solution. You could spend part of the day in the frontend, move over to an API or backend service and later use an AI coding agent to explore a solution, refactor something or help you test an idea. Some problems will have a clear answer. Others won’t. We want you to be comfortable figuring things out along the way and dig deeper when it’s needed.

For lunch, we usually have a box or get something from the restaurants near the office. But lunches are most of the time eaten together. Music can be played at times too, and we would love to hear your favorite!

What we think you will bring to us

You don't need to have been developing software for ten years. We're looking for someone around mid-level, with a solid technical foundation and enough experience to work independently.

We think you have:

• A few years of professional experience in full-stack software development.

• Experience building and shipping real web applications across both frontend and backend.

• A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Physics or another relevant technical field is a plus.

• Solid knowledge of modern web development, APIs, databases and software architecture.

• Experience working with cloud-based applications and modern development practices.

• The ability to take a feature or problem from idea to production.

• Professional fluency in English.

• Experience from B2B SaaS, integrations or complex configurable products is a plus.

• Basic understanding of LLM principles and limitations, agent host architecture and security practices, MCP protocol

And then there’s AI... again...

We’re genuinely interested in how AI is changing software development, so this part matters to us.

You already use tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar as part of your everyday development workflow. You’re curious about what these tools can do, but you also understand their limitations. You don't blindly accept generated code – you review it, understand it and take responsibility for what ends up in production.

Maybe you've also experimented with agents, LLM APIs or AI-powered product features. That's a plus, but not a requirement. What matters most is that AI isn't something you're waiting to start using. You're already exploring what it means to be a developer in an AI-native world.

You’re curious, pragmatic and like building things. You enjoy solving problems without needing every detail specified in advance. You take responsibility for your work, but you're not afraid to ask for input or challenge an idea when you think there’s a better way.
