As our new Senior Backend Engineer you'll join one of our Money Core squads based in Aarhus, reporting to Girish Premchandran, Director of Technology - Core Banking, working to build out our domestic payments universe and power banking at Lunar.

What will you do?

• Take ownership of critical banking domains, developing and maintaining the systems that keep our banking products running on a solid, reliable foundation

• Integrate with external partners to extend and strengthen what our platform can do

• Keep our systems highly available and resilient, while looking for new ways to make the customer experience better

• Explore how AI can enhance the banking experience for our customers, from first idea to production

• Share what you know and help the people around you grow, while staying open to learning from them too

What are we looking for in you?

• 4+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer, with a solid background in distributed systems and event-driven architecture

• A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others succeed

• You communicate clearly and work well within a diverse, cross-functional team

• Experience with Golang is a big plus, though not a requirement — we'll help you get up to speed

• Financial or trading experience is a bonus, not a must
