The People & Culture team at Shine

Our People Experience team brings together People Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and Workplace & Wellbeing to build modern, scalable and fair people practices.

The Center of Excellence (CoE) is the innovation hub of the People team. We design pragmatic solutions across compensation, benefits, pay transparency, job architecture and career frameworks, manager and employee enablement, and more.


Your role

As Senior People Programs Manager, you will own and develop strategic People programs with a strong focus on Total Rewards.

You will work from concept through implementation and enablement, helping us simplify and harmonize People practices across countries and entities.

This is a role for someone who combines deep C&B expertise with a pragmatic, innovative and AI-native mindset.


Your responsibilities

  • Shape and evolve our compensation philosophy, salary bands, benchmarking and compensation review approach

  • Drive pay transparency and pay equity initiatives across Europe

  • Review and harmonize benefits programs across markets

  • Contribute to the evolution of performance management, job architecture and career frameworks

  • Build clear manager and employee enablement, including practical tools, guidance and communication

  • Translate complex People topics into simple, practical solutions

  • Use data to support decisions and measure impact

  • Use AI as part of your daily work to research, design, automate and improve People processes

  • Lead cross-functional People programs in partnership with PBPs, People Services and Talent Acquisition


📍 Location

This role can be based in Porto, Madrid or Berlin.

We operate a hybrid model with three days per week in the office and two days remote.

Some travel within Europe will be required.


About you

  • 8+ years of HR experience, including at least 4 years in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards

  • Strong expertise in compensation, salary benchmarking, salary bands and job architecture

  • Experience with pay transparency, benefits and compensation review cycles

  • International experience, ideally in a scale-up, tech or transformation environment

  • Highly data-driven, structured and pragmatic

  • Strong program and stakeholder management skills

  • Able to translate strategy into practical tools, processes and communication

  • AI-native or highly skilled and curious in using AI

  • Innovative, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment

  • Fluent in English; another European language is a plus
