Cleaning and serviceworker

Salary Competitive

You will be part of a small cleaning team responsible for both of our buildings. You work closely together, get to know both houses and cover for each other during holidays and absence. You report to the General Manager.

Shifts are in the afternoon because offices cannot be cleaned while people are sitting in them. Within that, we adapt the hours for the right person — tell us in your application what works for you.

This is not a job where you go unnoticed. You are in the building while people are still working, and you get to know our members. How you meet them matters as much as how the floor looks — a friendly hello, a hand when someone is stuck, and people knowing who you are. We are looking for someone who wants to stay with us.

What you will do

  • Daily cleaning of common areas, meeting rooms, offices, kitchens and changing rooms

  • Checking and restocking bathrooms and kitchens during your shift

  • Floor washing and vacuuming, plus periodic deeper cleaning of surfaces not covered daily

  • Waste handling: sorting, cardboard into the baler, keeping the waste room and storage tidy

  • Resetting offices when members move out — a full clean including carpet cleaning and windows, so the office is ready for the next member

  • Light maintenance as you go: changing light bulbs, checking that smart locks have battery, and reporting anything broken

We are looking for someone who

  • Has cleaning experience, ideally from commercial buildings, hotels or offices

  • Enjoys having people around and meets them with a smile

  • Works independently and finishes what they start

  • Sees what needs doing without being told

  • Is organised and trustworthy — you will have keys and access to the whole building

  • Can communicate in Norwegian or English. Perfect Norwegian is not required.

A Norwegian trade certificate in cleaning (fagbrev, renholdsoperatør) is a plus, but not a requirement. If you have experience with carpet cleaning, window cleaning or floor treatment, mention it in your application.

What we offer

  • Competitive pay, set according to experience

  • A fixed monthly salary and a permanent full-time position from day one, with pension and insurance

  • You are employed by Mesh, not hired out through a cleaning agency

  • Free lunch when you are at work, and coffee from our café

  • Afternoon shifts, so your mornings are free

  • All equipment, machines and work clothes

  • Training in the buildings and in how we do things

  • A good place to work, with colleagues who see you

The application deadline is Friday 18 September 2026.

We will contact those who move forward in the process after that.

We would like the right person to start as soon as possible, but we will find a solution with you if you have a notice period.
