Creative & AI Producer – 20–40% Student Position
We have a slightly unusual setup.
We run several businesses and projects across hospitality, consumer products, media and design. Some are established businesses with employees, customers and real revenue. Others are early-stage ideas we are trying to turn into something real.
Møllefossen is a café, event venue and hospitality concept in Oslo. We are building a premium Norwegian mineral water brand, work with wine import, develop consumer products and are launching a podcast about what it is actually like to own and run a business in Norway.
More ideas tend to appear faster than we can execute them.
That is where you come in.
We are looking for a talented student who can help us turn ideas into things people can actually see, watch, visit, buy and experience.
This is not a traditional marketing position. There will be very few PowerPoints about what we could do. We would much rather make it, put it live, see if it works and improve it.
What you might actually do
One week you could be:
Building a landing page for a new concept
Filming a podcast and turning 90 minutes into great Reels and Shorts
Developing packaging or visual concepts for a new product
Creating content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or YouTube
Improving one of our websites
Shooting photo and video
Making graphics and campaign material
Using AI to prototype a new brand or idea in an afternoon
Automating something we currently waste far too much time doing
The next week could be completely different.
AI should be part of how you work
We think AI is fundamentally changing what a small, talented team can accomplish. We already use it extensively, and we want you to push this much further.
ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Runway, Framer, Lovable, Cursor – or something that launches next month. We don’t particularly care which tools you prefer.
We care about what you can make with them.
We are not looking for endless mediocre AI content. Taste still matters. Probably more than ever.
The goal is to combine good ideas, visual judgement and technology to move much faster from:
“We should do this” → “It’s live.”
Who we’re looking for
You might study design, marketing, communication, media, technology – or something completely different. Your degree matters less to us than how you think and what you can create.
You probably:
Have a very good visual eye
Are unusually comfortable with technology
Experiment with AI
Know some combination of Figma, Adobe, Canva, CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, Webflow, Framer or similar
Can shoot decent photo and video
Learn new tools quickly
Take initiative
Actually enjoy figuring things out
You don’t need to know everything. We’d rather hire someone who knows 50% and learns incredibly fast than someone who ticks every box but lacks curiosity.
What the job is like
You will work directly with the people building the businesses. Short decision paths, very little bureaucracy and plenty of room to influence the result.
Have a better idea? Tell us. Find a tool that does in 30 minutes what we spend a day doing? Use it. Something isn’t working? Change it.
The role is 20–40%, with flexibility around studies and exams. Some work can be remote, while filming, photography and certain projects require you to be with us in Oslo/Bærum.
It’s an unusual student job where you can build a portfolio of real work across several businesses instead of spending a year making minor adjustments to one company’s social media calendar.
How to apply
Don’t spend an evening writing a polished cover letter.
Send us:
A short introduction
Three things you’ve made that you’re genuinely proud of
Website, video, design, Instagram account, school project, side project, app, brand, photography – whatever shows us what you can do.
A CV is welcome, but isn’t the most important part.
Show us what you can make.
