Are you our next Creator Resident in Lofoten?
Come live, play, and create at our Lofoten lodge this fall/winter season.
This is a seasonal, part-time residency (minimum 2 weeks between September 2026 and February 2027) – a great fit if you love mountain air and telling stories online. This is a free-to-stay content residency.
We’d love to have you for anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks between September 15th and February 20th, with residencies starting mid-month. If you fall for the place, you’re welcome to stay up to three months.
When you apply, just let us know which month you’d like to start and the longest you’d consider staying. One thing to keep in mind: you’ll be based at the lodge for most of your stay (aside from group trips once your responsibilities are covered), so make sure that rhythm feels right for you before applying.
You’ll be the visual voice of the Lofoten Pier Lodge, capturing life at the lodge, the landscape, and the community around it. Plan on 20+ hours a week creating social content: photos, short videos, and longer stories that help more people discover Arctic Coliving. Love blogging? Interested in collabs? Adventures with local experience partners? The sky is the limit. The rest of your time is yours to explore Lofoten’s world-class hiking, climbing, skiing, surfing, and local arts and culture – all of it great material.
You’ll work closely with our Community Resident to document events, gatherings, and everyday moments that bring the lodge to life.
You’ll live at the Lofoten Pier Lodge free of charge for your whole stay, plus a lifetime 10% discount (on top of other offers like long-stay discounts) on future stays and events with Arctic Coliving. You’ll also get to know our friends in Henningsvær and become part of a mountain adventure community unlike any other in the world. Unless otherwise agreed upon, you will be sharing a room with another Creator/Community Resident during your stay in Lofoten.
You might be a great fit if you:
Enjoy telling stories through photos, videos, or writing
Feel most at home in the mountains and the outdoors (hiking, climbing, skiing — you name it)
Have real experience with content creation, production, and storytelling
Are self-motivated and can manage your creative work with minimal supervision
Communicate clearly and confidently in English
There’s no minimum follower requirement for this role. We hope to find someone who genuinely loves telling stories through visual and mixed media, with a passion for Coliving, the mountains, and slow travel.
To apply, you’ll share your social media profiles and record a short video (under 90 seconds) introducing yourself. Please upload it publicly to YouTube, Vimeo, or similar before you start. A PDF application and portfolio are optional but warmly encouraged.
When filling out the application, please indicate the month you wish to start and the maximum duration you would be interested in joining us. Please note that it is not possible to travel far afield from the lodge during your stay (except for lodge group trips when other responsibilities are met), so please ensure this works for you before applying.
To apply, please visit www.arcticcoliving.com/residencies and fill out the form for the residency you are interested in.
