We are looking for a Financial Controller who enjoys combining strategic financial thinking with operational excellence. In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders, support key financial decisions, and ensure that our day-to-day financial operations run smoothly. You will have a real impact on how we plan, measure, and grow our business while collaborating with teams across multiple European markets.

What you will do

Business partnering & controlling
  • Own and coordinate monthly financial reporting and closing processes.

  • Monitor financial performance, profitability, and key business metrics.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

  • Prepare financial analyses and business recommendations for local and international leadership teams.

  • Partner with managers across different departments, helping them make data-driven business decisions.

  • Support audits and cooperate with external accounting and tax advisors.

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and local regulations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.

Finance operations

Alongside business partnering, you will also play an important role in our day-to-day finance operations by:

  • Preparing and issuing client invoices based on approved project timesheets.

  • Verifying time reports to ensure billing accuracy and consistency.

  • Processing contractor invoices and coordinating timely payments.

  • Preparing employee reimbursements and other company transfers.

  • Supporting cash flow management through accurate execution of financial transactions.

  • Working closely with project managers and delivery teams to ensure invoicing reflects project reality.

What we are looking for

  • Several years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or a similar role.

  • Experience working in an international environment with stakeholders across multiple countries.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.

  • Confidence communicating financial topics in English on a daily basis.

  • Experience supporting managers and leadership teams in business decision-making.

  • Practical experience with invoicing, payment processing, or other finance operations.

  • Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills and experience working with ERP or financial reporting systems.

  • High attention to detail and an organized way of working.

  • A proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes and challenge the status quo.

  • Ability to work independently while building strong relationships across the organization.

Nice to have

  • Experience in professional services, technology, digital, software, or consulting environments.

  • Experience working with international financial reporting and collaborating with external accounting partners.

  • Experience working with time-tracking or project accounting tools
