The Role

We are looking for a commercially minded, sales-driven Project Manager to join our growing Construction Materials testing team.

In this role, you will assist clients through the development and manufacturing of construction materials, ensuring their products achieve full regulatory compliance. You will drive this by selling and coordinating essential laboratory testing services. Acting as the vital link between our clients and partner laboratories, you will ensure testing needs are accurately identified and efficiently executed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Consultation: Identify required testing scopes based on specific client needs and evolving legal requirements.

  • Commercial Drive: Prepare and present tailored offers, actively driving sales by communicating the value of our testing services.

  • Project Coordination: Manage sample submissions and logististics with our partner laboratories to ensure seamless execution.

  • Insight Delivery: Report testing results back to clients and provide consultative technical support.


About You

To thrive in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of construction materials and their legislative testing frameworks, balanced with a fiercely customer-centric mindset.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • ~5 years of experience in compliance testing of construction materials.

  • ~5 years of B2B sales experience, with comfort owning targets and commercial outcomes.

  • A proactive communication style: You are genuinely motivated to engage with international customers, confidently pick up the phone, and solve complex problems.

  • Cultural fit: A performance-oriented mindset coupled with a desire to contribute to a positive, collaborative company culture đź’™.


Your focus areas will include, but are not limited to, laboratory testing within several specialized sectors. Prior familiarity or direct experience with any of the following test entities is highly advantageous:

  • International Maritime Organization (IMO) tests

  • Railway Vehicle tests (e.g. EN 45545-2)

  • Motor Vehicle tests (e.g. UN/ECE R118)

  • Construction Materials (especially floorings and insulations, e.g. EN 13501-1 Classification, EN 717-1 Formaldehyde Release, EN 12667 Thermal Resistance)

  • Dust explosivity


Note on Workspace: During your first few months, full-time presence at our Vallila office is required to ensure a smooth onboarding. Afterward, we happily offer a flexible hybrid working model.
