(Senior) Financial Controller

Salary €4,000 - €5,500 per month

Our mission and why it matters

We are on a mission to make humans the strongest security layer.

Human risk remains one of the biggest vulnerabilities and traditional awareness training is not enough. We take a different approach by combining AI-driven personalization, real threat detection, and behavioral science to actively protect people and organizations.

We don't just simulate risks. We build the tools that detect and stop them.

Why this role matters

We are scaling our finance function to support our next stage of growth. As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in external reporting and contribute to the development of our financial systems and tools as we expand globally across the US, EMEA, and APAC. You'll work closely with function leads, the management team, our external accountant, and our global reporting team, helping strengthen the financial foundation that supports our mission of protecting organizations from cyber threats.

What you'll own and drive

  • Manage external reporting and help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Build and enhance financial systems and tools to scale with business growth, including leading implementation projects (NetSuite, Power BI)

  • Drive improvements in controlling and reporting processes, both internal and external

  • Partner with our external accountant and global reporting team to align processes and reporting standards

  • Work with Sales and stakeholders globally to ensure accurate vendor registration, invoicing, and accounting records

  • Provide guidance on finance-related inquiries across the company

  • Support accounts receivable and collection processes, monitoring aging balances

  • Contribute to ARR reporting, maintaining and reconciling Salesforce and NetSuite data in collaboration with RevOps

  • Proactively introduce AI-native ways of working, identifying and adopting AI tools to improve financial processes and efficiency

  • Coach colleagues in financial processes and tools, fostering a culture of financial awareness across the company

What success looks like

  • In your first 3 months you'll: Get up to speed on our external reporting processes, build strong partnerships with stakeholders and external accountants, and begin identifying opportunities to improve our controlling processes.

  • By month 6 you'll: Be contributing to improvements in our financial systems like NetSuite and Power BI, delivering accurate and compliant reporting, and helping strengthen company-wide financial literacy and operational efficiency.

What makes you thrive here

  • You have 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience in controlling and financial reporting

  • Excellent knowledge of financial processes, controlling, and reporting

  • Strong interest in developing controlling and reporting processes in a global setting

  • Hands-on experience with Netsuite and business intelligence tools (preferably Power BI, including implementation projects)

  • AI-native mindset, with a genuine interest in adopting AI tools to improve financial processes and efficiency

  • Top-tier Excel skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and collaborate across functions and cultures

Bonus points if you also:

  • Have experience working in a fast-growing SaaS or technology scale-up environment

Who you'll work with

We are proactive, independent, and solution-oriented doers who spot opportunities for improvement and take initiative. We are humble, unafraid to ask for help, and ready to tackle both routine tasks and major projects with equal enthusiasm. You will be expected to work confidently with C-level stakeholders, raising critical issues when needed while maintaining a strong grasp of the bigger business picture.

What you can expect from us

  • Compensation: Monthly salary of €4000 - €5500 depending on your experience. Working ways: We work in a flexible, hybrid work setting. You are expected to visit the Helsinki office weekly.

  • High performance meets high humanity: We bring an incredibly driven, high-impact energy to our work, but we leave our egos at the door. You will be surrounded by wildly talented, dedicated colleagues in an environment built on extreme kindness, support, and psychological safety.

  • Authentic trust & autonomy: We hire great people and trust them to do great work. You will find a culture free of micromanagement, giving you the autonomy to take real ownership, drive impact, and shape things early on.

  • A product you can be proud of: It is incredibly rare in cybersecurity to build a product that end-users genuinely love. You will join a fast-paced, technically sophisticated team making a real, measurable impact against cybercrime.

  • The perks that matter: Alongside this amazing community, you will enjoy extensive healthcare with other benefits and our beautiful office in Helsinki (complete with a gym and swimming pool!).
