VentriJect is a Danish health tech company. We’ve developed Seismofit®, an award-winning algorithm that uses AI to estimate fitness levels (VO₂max) in just three minutes. We are a small, fast-moving team, and we need a reliable student to help us keep our daily operations running smoothly while applying their technical know-how to our digital platforms.
This role is a mix of practical, "hands-on" operations and digital investigation that utilizes your technical education. Let’s be transparent: during peak times, operations and customer support take priority. But when things are running smoothly, you will have the time to dive into frontend tasks and system optimization.
The Operational Foundation (Day-to-Day):
Shipping & Logistics: Helping us get our hardware to customers globally. This includes quality control of devices, packing, and booking shipments. This part of the job is based in our office.
Customer Support: Managing Tier 1 inquiries from our global users via our ticketing system.
Digital Support & Systems (Applying Your Studies):
Frontend & Technical Investigation: We don't expect you to be our lead developer, but we want someone who truly understands how the web works. We won't judge you for using AI tools to help generate your code, as long as you aren't just "vibe coding" and actually understand why the snippet works! You’ll help us tweak our frontend UI and investigate digital hiccups in our WordPress/WooCommerce backend. If a plugin acts up or an error message appears, you’ll use your technical background to identify the root cause.
System Optimization: You’ll help us research and implement tools like shipping software or CRM updates, looking at how different platforms connect via APIs to make our workflows smoother—and ultimately, create a better, more seamless experience for our clients.
The Academic Profile: You are currently in the final years of a relevant Bachelor’s program, or enrolled in a Master’s program (IT, Software Development, Frontend Development, Digital Design, or similar).
Technical Literacy: You have a solid grasp of web development. You are comfortable writing and understanding HTML, CSS, and JS (and ideally some PHP). You understand the actual logic behind the code, can navigate a CMS, and aren't afraid to read technical documentation.
The "Detective" Mindset: You enjoy solving puzzles. When a system throws an error, you're the type to look into the "why" before asking for help.
Real-World Customer Experience: You’ve worked a customer-facing job before (like a server, a cashier, or in retail). You already know that clients can sometimes be special, and you know how to handle those interactions with patience and professionalism.
Operational Reliability: You are highly organized and take pride in getting the details right—whether it's a shipping label, a line of code, or a technical support answer.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills.
Working Hours: This is a part-time student role (approximately 11 to 15 hours per week).
Office-Based Tasks: Physical shipping and team syncs take place at our office.
Evening Flexibility: Because our clients are global, we may implement some evening shifts in the future to ensure coverage. We are looking for someone who is open to this flexibility. Any evening work—along with your other digital tasks—can be handled remotely once you're trained.
Student-Friendly: We offer a schedule that respects your university life, providing the flexibility you need during exams and lectures.
Interviews: We will be interviewing throughout the end of July and August.
Start Date: September 1st, 2026.
