Build the Future of Heavy-Lift Cargo UAS
At Acodyne, you will help design and physically build the next generation of high-speed, heavy-lift cargo UAS by moving between CAD models, carbon fiber parts, simulation, and reality.
Your Role You will work closely with our CTO and engineering team on the physical systems that define our aircraft. From structural design to manufacturing, this is as real as engineering gets. You will:
Design and optimize mechanical components in CAD
Build and assemble prototypes using 3D printing, CNC, and workshop tools
Participate in carbon fiber composite manufacturing
Test and iterate on structures and subsystems
Support development of scalable manufacturing processes
Document designs and test results for certification purposes
About You You like getting your hands dirty as much as solving equations. You’re the type who builds things outside class and wants to take that to the next level. You likely:
Are currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or similar
Have experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)
Enjoy hands-on prototyping and workshop work
Are curious about UAVs, robotics, or high-performance systems
Are proactive, independent, and eager to learn fast
Nice to have:
Experience with composites or lightweight structures
Exposure to aerodynamics or simulation tools
Workshop experience (machining, fabrication, etc.)
About Acodyne We are a UAS company developing heavy-lift, high-speed eVTOL UAS for defence and industrial logistics. We are currently 10 people, based at our workshop at Avedøre Airfield, and plan to double our team in the next year.
