Salary Competitive

We're building the default AI for M&A. Inven helps the world's top dealmakers (private equity firms, investment banks, tier-1 consultancies, and VC funds) map the private market. We're hiring for one of the most pivotal roles in the company.

The role

The work looks a lot like what you'd do at an MBB firm. You'll be producing slides, decks, and research materials directly for our clients, primarily partners at PE firms, investment banks, and tier-1 consultancies. The difference is that you'll be using Inven's AI to do it, which means you're also stress-testing the product from the inside: working with real client briefs, verifying AI outputs, and making sure what we ship meets the standard our clients expect. You’ll be working for multiple clients and multiple projects giving you a high-level view of the entire global M&A landscape.

You won't be executing tasks in a queue. You'll own deliverables end to end, and what you produce goes straight to senior decision-makers.

Who we're looking for

  • Academic profile: Recent graduate or current Master's student in Finance, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a similarly analytical field. Strong GPA or a track record that demonstrates consistent high performance.

  • Work experience: At least one internship or trainee stint at a management consulting firm, investment bank, or private equity fund.

  • Rigorous logic: You make decisions based on data, facts, and structured reasoning, not intuition or consensus.

  • Deliverable quality: You can independently scope and produce client-ready outputs. Think structured PowerPoint decks, robust Excel models, and tight written deliverables at the standard expected at an MBB firm.

  • Stamina: Exceptional time management and the flexibility to sprint on critical projects when clients need it. This is not a 9-to-5 role.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication in English.

Your trajectory

We think about the Analyst role the way top consulting firms think about their junior positions: a highly competitive launchpad designed to accelerate your career. You'll gain a deep inside understanding of M&A and private equity workflows that you won't get anywhere else. Top performers get bigger responsibilities fast. Inven alumni have gone on to roles at MBB firms, YC startups, and tier-1 investment banks.

  • A Helsinki city-center office with a strong in-office culture and regular team events
