Pilar, our VP Customer Success, is leading the build of the Customer Success function at Shine, with a clear mandate: create a human-led revenue engine rooted in customer value.
You will be joining a team being built from the ground up - which means you'll have direct impact on how Customer Success is defined and executed at Shine.
You'll work hands-on with tools like HubSpot, Aircall and Mojo to run your outreach sequences and manage your outbound call pipeline.
Your mission? Help Shine users unlock the full potential of their business. You will guide customers toward the right plans as they grow, drive wider product adoption, and secure long-term loyalty through proactive churn prevention.
What you'll be doing day-to-day
Drive expansion: Guide customers toward the right subscription tiers and make sure they are getting the absolute most out of the Shine ecosystem.
Protect customer relationships: Spot risk signals early and lead proactive retention and win-back outreach before a customer decides to leave.
Cross-sell with purpose: Introduce users to secondary Shine products so they experience the full value of our all-in-one platform.
Master the touchpoints: Engage customers primarily via phone, email, and chat, meticulously logging outcomes in the CRM to keep our data sharp.
Be the Voice of the Customer: Share frontline insights with Product, Marketing, and Data teams to refine user segmentation, upgrade features, and elevate overall satisfaction.
Natural drive & empathy: You genuinely enjoy being on the phone, you listen far more than you speak, and you possess the resilience to shake off a "no."
Proven track record: You have experience in sales, account management, or a conversion-focused role—ideally inside a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
A performance mindset: You are structured, dependable, and treat your KPIs as a roadmap to success.
A team-first attitude: You aren't afraid to ask for help, you're quick to offer it, and you view feedback as a tool for personal growth.
Tech fluency: You are instantly comfortable navigating tools like Slack, HubSpot, Aircall, Mojo, and Notion.
Language proficiency: Native or bilingual fluency in French, paired with a clear, professional command of English.
