The work

As a Senior Product Manager for IQM Radiance and IQM Spark, you will help shape the future of IQM's on-premises quantum computing products. You will work at the intersection of customer needs, technology development, and business strategy, helping us make smart decisions about what to build, why it matters, and how it reaches the market.

You will collaborate closely with R&D teams, technical product managers, sales, marketing, and customers around the world. Your role is to bring clarity to complex decisions, identify new opportunities, and ensure our products continue to solve meaningful problems for customers in a rapidly evolving market.

What you’ll actually do

  • Identify customer needs, market opportunities, and pain points through customer interviews, market research, competitive analysis, and industry engagement

  • Develop and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for IQM Radiance and IQM Spark together with technology and commercial teams

  • Drive innovation initiatives by evaluating market developments, customer trends, and emerging technologies

  • Define and validate new product concepts, MVPs, and future product opportunities

  • Prioritize product investments and development activities based on customer value, business impact, and strategic objectives

  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute go-to-market activities for product launches and major updates

  • Support customer engagements, procurement processes, and tenders

  • Work with internal stakeholders across engineering, finance, legal, strategy, and commercial functions to align priorities and drive execution

  • Contribute to the development of scalable product management and requirements management practices across IQM

  • Help bridge customer expectations and technical possibilities in a fast-moving deep-tech environment

What we’re looking for

  • M.Sc. in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Quantum Technology, or a related field

  • Several years of experience in product management, ideally complemented by experience in technical program or project management within hardware products or other complex deep-tech systems

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate customer needs into product strategy and roadmap decisions

  • Experience working with the full product lifecycle from requirements, design, validation, production, and post-sales support

  • Ability to make decisions with incomplete information and navigate ambiguity with confidence

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to prioritize effectively, manage competing demands, and drive outcomes across multiple initiatives

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence diverse teams

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

Seen as beneficial

  • Knowledge of quantum computing technologies, applications, and market dynamics

  • Experience with scientific instrumentation, semiconductors, advanced computing, or other deep-tech industries

  • Familiarity with public procurement, tender processes, or government-funded technology projects

  • Experience working across international markets and regulatory environments

Why IQM?

  • Full-stack quantum computing: From quantum hardware to software layers and beyond, we build across the full-stack.

  • High-performance playground: We aim high, and we know sustainable performance only works when life outside work does too—hybrid setups, flexible hours.

  • Never the smartest: Expect to learn constantly. You won't always be the smartest person in the room, and that's the point.

  • Approachable leadership: Flat hierarchy, direct access. Feel free to approach any leaders. They're friendlier than they look!

  • The sweet spot: Big enough to matter. Small enough to move fast. Growing between a startup and a corporation. We’re in the phase where top performers get noticed.

  • Bigger than IQM: Our people build know-how for the entire quantum ecosystem. We publish papers, run hackathons, and help shape a market that's still being defined.

The future of computing won’t build itself. You might be one of the few who do.
