As we are growing our customer base and the development team, we have the need for an experienced person with infrastructure and operations as their main focus point.

You will be working closely with our Technical lead, along with the rest of the development team.

With a global customer base, users are relying on our uninterrupted service at all hours. Our system has large test coverage, and we take pride in developing robust software. All our work is done in close collaboration with the rest of the company and our users, giving us a good understanding of how the system is used.

The Job

Your job will be to handle daily operations and improve our infrastructure, ensuring better monitoring, security, stability, and maintainability. The role is very hands-on and you will have the primary responsibility for our infrastructure and operations. You are expected to drive improvements to our platform, tooling, and monitoring, backed up by our team of competent developers.

Our tech stack is an Elixir application deployed via Kubernetes on AWS.

At Qarma you will be joining a highly skilled development team consisting of about 15 people split between UX, backend, frontend, data and mobile application developers. The way we work is that all developers are responsible for the code they are working on. This means it is their responsibility to ensure the code is well tested before it is released into production, and that it works as expected once released.

Even as our team is growing, we believe that everyone should have a say when it comes to planning and technical decisions. We take responsibility for the product as a whole, which results in a good working environment where focus is on making it right.

The job is on site at our office in Aarhus, Denmark.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operations working with:

  • AWS

  • Kubernetes

  • Terraform

  • System monitoring

• Good English skills

• Open to learning

Nice to have experience

• Postgres

• Elixir or Erlang

• Jenkins

• Security engineering
