About Rotomate

Rotomate is a Helsinki-based industrial AI startup with secured funding and strong customer traction.

Our AI colleague works like a senior reliability engineer, helping industrial sites catch emerging machine failures, explain their root cause, and recommend the right maintenance actions. Our mission: make expert-level condition monitoring available across every plant, so industrial teams can cover more assets, act earlier, and turn better reliability into higher output.

Founded in 2024, we are a team of 10 based in Helsinki, backed by Nordic industrial technology investors. We already work with leading European process industry companies such as Metsä Group, SSAB, and Aurubis, and have a strong sales pipeline across Northern and Western Europe.

What You'll Build With Us

Our product vision is bold but simple: to create a virtual colleague that understands every machine more intimately than its manual. Driven by sophisticated signal analytics, the Rotomate AI colleague continuously monitors machine signals, instantly transforming them into practical, human-like reports and diagnoses for all critical assets across industries and facilities.

You’ll help elevate this platform into the leading AI application for industrial asset monitoring, delivering improved decision-making that saves our customers real time, money and stress.

You'll have the chance to:

• Shape the core product by designing and building scalable features across our entire stack (React, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, GCP).

• Create a seamless user experience by working directly with our customers and our team including a UX designer, research experts, and the founding team.

• Supercharge our team by improving our developer experience and tools, helping us all move faster.

You will fit if

Your Toolkit

• At least 2-3 years of proven success in software development.

• Solid foundation in software development and a deep desire to learn and grow across our stack.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (we use GCP).

• Full professional proficiency in English.

Bonus Points (Nice to have, not required):

• Previous experience in a startup or small team.

• Experience with or a genuine interest in building AI or data-intensive products for the industry.
