Cloudgeni is building AI agents for cloud infrastructure.
Infrastructure teams are under pressure to move faster, reduce cloud complexity, control costs, and keep environments secure. At the same time, most companies cannot let AI make uncontrolled changes in production.
Cloudgeni helps platform and DevOps teams use AI safely in real infrastructure workflows. Our agents detect issues such as drift, unmanaged resources, policy violations, and infrastructure inconsistencies, then generate reviewable changes through pull requests, pipelines, and human approval flows.
We are already working with enterprise customers and are now looking for a founding engineer who can help turn early traction into a category-defining product.
We are looking for a Founding Fullstack AI Engineer who can build across the product, AI agent layer, integrations, and infrastructure.
This is not a narrow frontend or backend role. You will work on the core product experience, agent workflows, cloud/IaC integrations, customer-specific use cases, and the systems needed to make AI useful, reliable, and safe in real enterprise environments.
You should be comfortable operating in ambiguity, shipping quickly, talking to customers when needed, and owning product areas end-to-end.
You will help build Cloudgeni’s core platform, including:
AI agent workflows for cloud infrastructure use cases such as drift remediation, infrastructure imports, policy enforcement, and cost or reliability recommendations.
Fullstack product features that let users inspect findings, review proposed changes, understand reasoning, and approve actions safely.
Integrations with GitHub, Azure DevOps, cloud providers, IaC repositories, pipelines, and enterprise systems.
Agent execution environments with strong guardrails, sandboxing, validation, auditability, and human-in-the-loop review.
Infrastructure context systems that combine cloud state, IaC, pipeline results, policies, and organizational standards.
Customer-facing workflows that need to work in messy real-world infrastructure environments, not just demos.
We are looking for someone who has:
Strong fullstack engineering experience, ideally with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web frameworks.
Backend experience building APIs, integrations, data models, and production systems.
Practical experience with LLMs, AI agents, tool use, RAG, evals, or AI workflow orchestration.
Strong product sense and ability to turn vague customer problems into usable software.
Comfort working with cloud infrastructure, DevOps workflows, CI/CD, Git, and pull-request-based development.
Ability to move fast without ignoring reliability, security, and maintainability.
High ownership, low ego, and a willingness to do whatever is needed in an early-stage startup.
It is a strong advantage if you have experience with:
Terraform, OpenTofu, Bicep, Helm, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, security, or cloud governance.
Building developer tools or technical B2B SaaS products.
AI coding agents, Claude Code, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, LangGraph, MCP, or similar agent frameworks.
Enterprise software requirements such as SSO, audit logs, permissions, policy enforcement, and secure execution.
This is a founding role. That means you will not just receive tickets.
You will help define how the product works, how customers adopt it, what we should build next, and where the technical architecture needs to go. You will work directly with the founders and early customers, and your work will materially shape the company.
This role is a good fit if you want to build serious AI infrastructure software, not another wrapper around a chatbot.
It is not a good fit if you need a highly structured environment, a large engineering team, or fully specified tasks before you can start.
A founding engineering role with significant product and technical ownership.
Direct work with enterprise customers using the product in real environments.
Opportunity to build at the intersection of AI agents, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and enterprise automation.
A small, ambitious team with high speed and low bureaucracy.
Competitive compensation, with equity for the right candidate.
Hybrid setup in Oslo.
Send us your CV, LinkedIn, GitHub, or examples of relevant work.
More importantly, tell us what you have built, what technical problems you like working on, and why AI infrastructure agents are interesting to you.
