As a Delivery Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Spoor’s systems are successfully deployed and running reliably in the field. Working closely with the Project Engineer, you’ll support the technical execution of customer deployments by coordinating hardware, troubleshooting operational issues, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day delivery activities.
This is a hands-on, operational role where you’ll work across hardware, software, logistics, and field operations to help deliver high-quality deployments and maintain reliable system performance across global wind projects.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and field technicians to solve practical challenges and keep deployments moving efficiently.

What You’ll Do
Deployment & Operational Support
Support the technical delivery of customer deployments together with the Project Engineer
Coordinate hardware preparation, shipping, installation activities, and operational readiness
Work with suppliers, subcontractors, and field technicians to ensure smooth execution across deployments
Assist with deployment planning, scheduling, and tracking of operational activities
Support commissioning and operational handover of deployed systems
Post-Installation, Commissioning & System Operations
Configure and validate device parameters within the Spoor software platform
Support calibration and operational setup of deployed camera systems
Assist with configuration and validation of AI processing workflows using established tools and processes
Support integration and validation of third-party data sources, such as weather station data
Work closely with software and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure stable system performance
Monitor deployed systems to ensure reliable operation, connectivity, and continuous data collection
Troubleshoot hardware, networking, and operational issues in collaboration with engineering teams
Coordinate maintenance activities, firmware updates, hardware replacements, and field support when needed
Support testing and validation of software releases and system improvements on deployed infrastructure
Customer & Field Support
Support customers in understanding and using Spoor’s software platform and data products
Assist end users with platform utilisation, operational workflows, and troubleshooting
Support data visualisation and interpretation of monitoring outputs (nice to have)
Help provide customised data exports and reporting formats based on customer requirements (nice to have)
Act as a key operational link between customers, field teams, and internal engineering teams
Hardware Operations & Continuous Improvement
Manage hardware logistics and lifecycle activities, including storage devices and monitoring equipment
Support installation partners during field deployments and maintenance activities
Ensure deployment hardware meets operational and technical requirements
Share field learnings and operational feedback to improve system reliability, deployment processes, and hardware performance
Contribute to building scalable operational processes and documentation as Spoor grows globally
You'll thrive in this role if you bring:
1–5 years of experience in technical operations, deployment engineering, field support, hardware systems, or similar technical delivery roles
Experience working with hardware installations, technical deployments, commissioning, or operational support in industrial or technical environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, networking, connectivity, and system-level issues
Experience working closely with software or engineering teams in integrated hardware-software environments
Familiarity with configuring technical systems, software platforms, or operational infrastructure
Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple operational activities and stakeholders simultaneously
A structured, hands-on, and proactive approach to solving practical challenges
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
Comfort working in a fast-paced scale-up environment with evolving priorities and processes
Willingness to travel to customer sites when required
