At Six Robotics, we build intelligent software that gives Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) the ability to collaborate, adapt on the fly, and execute missions that were previously impossible. From our base in Oslo, our 70+ experts in defence, software, and AI develop our flagship autonomy and swarm platform used by both government and industry. In close partnership with the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI), we move fast from concept to live deployment, often in the field alongside end users.
We work with advanced hardware and software, a modern tech stack, and missions that demand both technical mastery and operational discipline. Everyone is close to the action, from deep technical problem-solving to field operations. We move fast and value clarity, integrity, and teamwork in everything we do.
At Six Robotics, every person executes with precision, adapts to changing conditions, and strengthens the team. Getting in is hard, and you’ll be challenged every day. But if you have the skill, the discipline, and the drive to push your limits and always be sharpening your blade, you’ll find no better place to deliver real-world impact while collaborating and learning from the best in the field.
We've grown rapidly over the past two years, scaling to 70+ people, and we’re just getting started. As we continue scaling toward 120+ employees through 2026, the complexity of our physical operations is increasing fast.
As we scale, our physical footprint is becoming significantly more complex. We are expanding office space, increasing the number of assets and equipment, introducing new storage and operational needs, and working with a growing set of vendors and partners.
Today, much of this is handled in a distributed, reactive manner. Going forward, we need to build structure, ownership, and forward planning - ensuring that our facilities, assets, and physical operations are reliable, scalable, and never a bottleneck for the organisation.
That's why we are hiring our first Facility & Asset Manager to manage this domain and build it properly from the ground up.
This is not a traditional facility management role. This is a strategic, yet operational role focused on building systems, driving projects, and ensuring our physical infrastructure keeps pace with our growth. You will own everything from office expansion and workspace planning to asset systems, vendor coordination, and day-to-day operations, making sure nothing becomes a bottleneck as we scale.
We don't believe in a static list of responsibilities that's outdated before you even start. This role will evolve as we grow, but your core responsibility is clear: Make our physical operations scalable, structured, and frictionless. In your first 12 months, you will:
Own and build the function
Take full ownership of facilities, storage, and physical assets across the company
Establish structure, processes, and systems where they don’t yet exist
Act as the central point of contact for all facility and asset-related topics
Drive projects and expansion
Lead planning and execution of new office spaces, layouts, and expansions
Ensure we always stay ahead of space and infrastructure needs
Coordinate moves, upgrades, and changes across locations
Run day-to-day operations
Oversee office operations (suppliers, cleaning, maintenance, ventilation, supplies, etc.)
Potentially manage office support roles (e.g. receptionist / office manager)
Ensure a high-quality, well-functioning work environment
Build asset and storage structure
Establish systems for tracking and managing assets (e.g. drones, vehicles, equipment)
Coordinate storage and warehouse needs (internal and external)
Work closely with supply chain on vendors and logistics
Own vendors and budgets
Manage vendor relationships, negotiations, and contracts
Ensure cost control, quality, and reliability across all services
Own budgets, reporting, and financial follow-up
Ensure compliance and standards
Follow up on HSE, risk, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to certifications and structured ways of working
We are looking for someone who is motivated by building something that doesn't yet exist. You are comfortable operating without a predefined playbook, and you know how to create structure where it matters, without over-engineering the solutions.
You have likely worked in a high-growth company or a larger operations organization and understand the realities of rapid growth: shifting priorities, limited resources, and the need to make decisions quickly. You take ownership and drive things forward.
We believe you bring:
3+ years of experience in Facility Management, property operations, or a similar role
Experience with vendor management, contracts, and negotiations. You're a confident negotiator who knows how to get the best outcome
Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and HSE
Strong ability to drive projects end-to-end
A structured and detailed-oriented working style with a solution-focused approach
Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
What will make you stand out: Experience from a high-growth company, experience with asset management systems or inventory control, and a background in defence or logistics-heavy operations.
At Six Robotics, we're not just building software - we're redefining how unmanned systems operate in the real world. If you're driven by meaningful problems, technical depth, and the chance to shape something from the ground up, you'll find your place here.
Work on problems that matter
Our technology helps unlock smarter, safer, and more adaptable UAV operations in defense and industry, solving real challenges with direct, tangible impact.
Lead the shift in a hardware-dominated space
We're bringing modern AI, autonomy, and scalable software into a field that's long relied on rigid, pre-programmed systems, to change how UAVs are designed, deployed, and managed.
Build from zero, shape the future
Join early and help define the core systems, tools, and culture of a company that’s still being built - where your ideas, code, and decisions will have a lasting influence.
Work with purpose, supported by great benefits
You'll be part of a mission-driven team that values clarity, integrity, and collaboration, offering competitive pay, equity potential, strong insurance and pension plans, and ongoing learning opportunities.
We aim to keep our process short and sweet, but also thorough. As a small team, every hire matters, and we can't afford to get this one wrong.
We are running a fast and focused process in June and will review applications on a rolling basis.
Application deadline is May 31th.

Intro conversation (45 min): A deeper conversation with a recruiter to get to know each other better and learn more about Six Robotics and the role
Deep-dive interview (90 min): A structured interview with a recruiter and Head of People, including a case exercise and assessments to evaluate role fit and potential
Final interview (45 min): A conversation with our COO and Head of People, focusing on alignment, expectations, and how you would work with leadership
