The Role

We are looking for a proactive, sales-driven Packaging, Paper, and Polymer Materials Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position based in Vallila, Helsinki.

In this role, you will support clients engaged in R&D for novel materials and help ensure the regulatory compliance of existing packaging materials and polymers. You will do this by selling and coordinating laboratory testing services. Acting as a key link between our clients and our partner laboratories, you will ensure that testing needs are accurately identified and efficiently executed.

Your work will focus primarily on R&D and regulatory compliance testing of paper, board, and polymeric materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify required tests based on client needs and applicable legal requirements

• Prepare and present tailored offers to customers

• Drive sales by effectively communicating the value of testing services

• Coordinate sample submissions with partner laboratories

• Report results to clients and provide technical consultation

A solid scientific understanding of polymers and materials, combined with a customer-centric mindset, is essential. Previous B2B sales experience is considered an advantage, but it is not required. What matters most is your willingness to engage with international customers, confidently pick up the phone, and support them in finding the right solutions.

During your first months, we expect full-time presence at our Vallila office. After this onboarding period, a hybrid working model can be arranged.
