The Role

We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer to join the founding team and take full ownership of our technology. This is a true startup role: you will define the architecture, write production code, make key technical decisions, and build the engineering team from the ground up.

You will work directly with the founders to shape both product and company direction.

What You’ll Do

• Own and execute the entire technical roadmap from MVP to scale

• Architect and build core platform components hands-on

• Make pragmatic technology choices balancing speed and scalability

• Hire, mentor, and lead the engineering team as the company grows

• Establish development processes suited for a fast-paced startup

• Work closely with product and business to iterate rapidly

• Ensure reliability, security, and performance as we scale

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in an early-stage startup or as a founding engineer/CTO

• Strong full-stack engineering background with ability to ship quickly

• Deep understanding of scalable system design and cloud infrastructure

• Comfortable switching between strategy and hands-on coding daily

• Experience with matching systems, marketplaces, or AI/ML is a strong plus

• High ownership mentality and bias for action

• Based in Stockholm
