FlavorScale is seeking an Instagram Growth Intern to be our Chief Visual Storyteller. In the world of F&B, people eat with their eyes first. You will be responsible for making FlavorScale the most "saveable" and "shareable" brand on the platform across Northwestern Europe.
This isn't just about posting—it's about Algorithm Engineering. You will own the aesthetic, the Reels strategy, and the community engagement that turns casual scrollers into power users of the FlavorScale app.
Visual Alchemist: You have impeccable taste. You know the difference between a "good photo" and a "FlavorScale photo." You understand color theory, layout, and the "Instagram Grid" architecture.
Reels Specialist: You understand the "Hook-Value-CTA" framework. You know which audio is trending 24 hours before it peaks and can edit high-retention video content that stops the scroll.
The Curator: You are obsessed with "Saves" and "Shares." You know how to create carousels that act as mini-guides to cities like Amsterdam, Paris, or Berlin.
Engagement-First: You don't just "manage" a community; you start conversations. You know how to use Polls, Q&As, and Broadcast Channels to make our followers feel like they are part of the "Inner Circle."
Background: Studying Creative Direction, Marketing, Photography, or Digital Media.
Content Architecture: Plan and execute a high-impact content calendar consisting of Reels, Carousels, and Stories that define the "Global Taste" standard.
Creator Partnerships: Identify and reach out to local food & lifestyle influencers for "Collab" posts that put FlavorScale in front of new, high-intent audiences.
The "Vibe" Check: Scour our partner restaurants to curate the best User Generated Content (UGC), turning our users' photos into brand assets.
Growth Hacking: Experiment with "SEO for Instagram"—optimizing captions, tags, and locations to ensure we are the #1 result for urban discovery searches.
Analytics Deep-Dive: Track engagement rates and "Save" counts to report back to the Growth team as we prepare for our 2026 Q3 funding round.
This is a work-based internship that offers a Masterclass in Brand Building. While we cannot promise permanent positions today—as our key hires depend on the 2026/2027 investment cycles—this is our Creative Talent Pipeline. If you can build an aesthetic that defines a global brand, you’ll be the first in line for our Creative Lead roles.
Location: Remote-First (Based in Northwestern Europe).
Language: Fluent in English. (Additional languages like French, German, or Dutch are a massive plus for regional captions).
Tools: Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop, CapCut, and Instagram native tools.
Status: This must be a formal internship as part of your degree.
Portfolio: Required. Show us an account you’ve grown or a portfolio of your visual work.
