FlavorScale is moving from Proof of Concept to Global Scale. While Flutter served us for our initial MVP, we are now architecting a high-performance Native iOS app designed to handle a worldwide rollout. We are looking for an iOS Developer Intern (or postgrad working student) to be a foundational architect of this new codebase.
We are building a native experience that will eventually live on the home screens of food-obsessed users from Tokyo to New York. You’ll work directly with the CTO and CEO to ensure FlavorScale is fast, fluid, and scalable.
Background: Currently studying Computer Science or Software Engineering, or a postgrad/working student looking to add a "Global Scale" project to their portfolio.
The Swift Craftsman: You live and breathe the Apple ecosystem. You have a deep understanding of Swift and SwiftUI and know exactly why Native is the only way to deliver a world-class user experience.
Portfolio-Driven: You lead with your work. You have a GitHub or a portfolio of apps that demonstrate clean architecture, attention to detail, and a passion for mobile engineering.
Scalability Mindset: You don't just build for 1,000 users; you think about 1,000,000. You want to write code that is modular, documented, and ready for internationalization.
Vibe: You have the "Global Tech" energy. You’re not just a coder; you’re a builder who wants to see their work used in every major food city on the planet.
The Native Rebuild: Work alongside the CTO to translate our MVP logic into a robust, native iOS architecture.
World-Class UI: Use SwiftUI to build a buttery-smooth interface that sets the standard for discovery apps globally.
API & Data Architecture: Connect our new native frontend to a backend designed for global traffic and high-velocity data flow.
Performance Optimization: Ensure the app stays lightning-fast even as we add complex data visualizations and "Full-Flow" partner metrics.
Feature Innovation: Propose and build native-only features (Haptics, Widgets, Advanced Maps) that elevate the user experience beyond the competition.
This is a work-based internship or a "Masterclass" exercise for a postgrad. You are getting the rare opportunity to lead a Native Transition for a global-facing startup. While we cannot promise permanent roles—as our key hires depend on the 2026/2027 investment cycles—this is our Primary Engineering Pipeline. If you help us build the platform that conquers the industry, you will be the first candidate for our Lead iOS positions.
Location: Remote-First (Located within EU).
Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
Portfolio: Mandatory. We want to see the "why" and "how" behind your code.
Status: Open to Bachelor/Master students or Working Students (Postgrads).
Language: Fluent in English (Our global language).
